When I was little and going to bed and the light was out... I would "imagine" seeing a sort of sparkling static transparent "sheet" that covered pretty much the area up above me and all around the bed.
It was rather odd... I never look for it anymore. I think... I used to have a night light when I would see it there.
Plus, I have a "view" that my room is that of a sanctuary... thus nothing gets in without permission... or is able to open my door as is case with parents. sweatdrop

i have three main types of shielding. one is that the energy from the attack is absorbed and just dissipated, the next is that the energy attack rebounds and hits the person who attacked, and last but not least (my fav) i am somehow able to absorb the attack and transform the negative energy into my own then i go from there. btw this is a really fascinating subject

I bubble up. xD I make a bubble of energy around me that sheilds me pretty well. When I want to sheild a room I just push the energy out to fit the spaces of the room.
;o I'm too simple minded to do anything really fancy.

i normally have layers
inner layer's purpose - final offencive.. trys to get rid of anything that has got through
next layer - stops anything staying near/in me
next layer - absorbs energy that gets through for my own use
next layer - reflectiveness
outer layer - offencive, the 'warning shot.' if somethings trying something without me knowing then theres been a few cases of this layer lashing out
and again, why was this necromanced?

I have a big aura or I can surpress my aura to "hide" it.
