Tangled Up In Blue knivesl Kids now think different then they did back then due to the corupted nature of our strongly oppressed society Let me say this one more time: Just because you think you''re being oppressed doesn''t mean that you are. It''s not like the Christian message is being suppressed in the Western World, you know. by the term opressed i mean Spiritually we have a very demonic opression in our country everyting is tainted by demons... especially hollywood... the things kids can be subjected to on TV is desturbing... sex is promoted by almost everyshow you can watch during daytime television... im not saying that there is not anything good on its just the fact that in the same time slot there is good and bad stuff on...and due to the Opression (spiritual) kids are more prone to watching violence and sexual content than they are to watching educational or uplifting tv...

'Oppressed' implies that all of this has been forced on us by forces outside of our control; however the truth of the matter is quite the opposite. The prevalence of sex and violence in the media is simply a reaction to the public's demand for sex and violence in their media. As the media is a business they are obliged to respond to market pressures and supply what the public wants or risk losing out to whoever is willing to provide what the public is looking for. We've chosen to support all that sex and violence with our money. We can hardly call that 'oppression'.

Woodlock You really don't think Satan can make something appear godly? Satan is an angel of light. His entire existence revolves around making sin look appealing and godly. knivesl and that is why they (the creaters of vegietales) made it a point that larry's songs were silly songs... in the cheeseburger episode that is the one where they made the point to "Stop being so silly" it is our jobs to make sure that kids understand the meaning of the show... the reason they (the creators) throw those silly songs in there is because kids have short attention spans and they need to redraw their attention... so the silly song it back to the attention and then continue with the story...so we...if we watch it with our friends family and such need to make it a point that we explain the stories But the issue is, some nonchristian parents will sit their kids down and not explain it, and think they're doing the right thing. So that rules out the explanation. Also, God didn't need animated silly songs to teach kids for thousands of years, why is it a necessity all of a sudden? Because we're lazy. satan was striped of his glory in the bigining of time when he wanted to be Gods equal...he is no longer an angel of light....and besides that do you really know what satans role in heaven was... so satan is not an angel of light

knivesl umm hello have you watched the news lately yes we do have our individual right to worship...but that is not what i was talking about...evil spirits oppress so much now it dosnt matter i wasnt talking about my own life...or the rights the church has... i was talking about people in general are so spiritually corupted by television ie. violence, sexual content. and lets not forget about the music industry...the radio.... and news is so depressing... out of the news stories and headlines how many of them are really good news opression is the spiritual bondage that we are subject to all day long. This is where I sigh deeply and shake my head at you. Had you bothered to read my last post you would have seen that this had already been addressed. Noone is telling you to listen to one kind of musc or to a particular show. If you dont like the show than you can change to something different or listen to something different, etc. Thats hardly opression.

He may be evil and he may be completly insane to have challenged God, but he is a genious when it comes to manipulation. He can gain your trust by using the symbol of somthing you love and then using that as a tool. The only one who knows you better than Lucifer, is God. As for Veggie Tales.... I love the show and can't see why people have a problem with it. There is a good lesson to be learned and it isn't torture for us older simblings to have to watch with the kiddos. My college friends and i actually like a few of the songs.... I suggest finding Reliant K's version of "the Pirtest who don't do anything." it rocks!

Sinner Lucifer ain't Satan. And the Bible never really gets into what Satan did wrong. These are ideas perpetuated by the book Paradise Lost, and have no real Biblical basis. Revelation 12:9 And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him. 2 Corinthians 11:14 And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light. Luke 10:18 And he said unto them, I beheld Satan as lightning fall from heaven. Job 1:7 And the LORD said unto Satan, Whence comest thou? Then Satan answered the LORD, and said, From going to and fro in the earth, and from walking up and down in it. It is interesting to note that the KJV uses the name Lucifer but once. Isaiah 14:12 How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations!
