He sighed, looking at her. She looked rather happy and quite peaceful. How annoying. “I guess, but friends can be annoying as well. That’s the part that I don’t like.” He had a couple friends, he just couldn’t remember them right now, that’s all.

Annoying? She hadn't thought any of her friends were annoying. Though, it wasn't like she even had that word in her vocabulary. "I'm sure the happiness of a friendship can over come the annoying parts." She said with a nod. She smiled. To not have friends was something that she couldn't live with out.
(Once again straying from her character... but yeah.. >w>;; )

He raised a brow and stared at her. She was off her rocker a bit if you asked him. “Are you so sure?” Why did friends matter so much? “What if, one of your friends wasn’t really a friend?” He asked.

Her smile was still there, watching him. "You can never be sure of anything, but if you never try, you won't experience any of the good stuff that comes with some of the bad stuff. " She said with a nod.

He just shook his head. How very peculiar. Friends were really not that interesting. Looking at it from a scientific point of view, friends were there because the mind makes up the feelings that make you want friends. Weren’t they? Of course they are.

"I'll be your friend." She said with a smile. Of course, she still hadn't realized that he thought she was annoying. But she couldn't just let him not have any friends, it must be horrible not to have any.

He let out a puff of air, seeing it like smoke due to the cold. “Whatever.” Now she was going to follow him around, and talk about happy things. He rolled his eyes. Great.

She wasn't going to follow him around, but hoped that he'd realize that he'd need a friend sometime, and would come to visit her whenever. "I live beyond those trees." She said nodding towards them. "There's a teepee there, with a couple of others that live there with clothing as well." she said with a nod. "If your in the area, you should come a visit." She said with a nod and a smile.

She was all smiles. Why was she like that? Why did she act like nothing was wrong? He nodded, “I can come now I guess. Nothing better to do.” For some reason, that made him feel like he was the one following now. “Unless I would be a bother.” Which he would be most likely. Now he wouldn’t have to go anywhere.

"No! No bother at all. Though I think everyone else is not at the teepee. " Or that's was the case most the time. There was always so much to do, and so little time in which to have it done. It was always fun to roam around during the day. Her smile continued as she started to walk towards where she had pointed out before. "It's quite lovely!"

Ed just shook his head. “It’s okay; you can just tell me that I would be a bother. So I will just go now.” He smiled what he thought to be a sad smile, although on the inside he was ridiculously happy. He sighed and turned around. Looking over his shoulder he uttered a “see you later” and started walking off.

"It really wouldn't be a bother." She said though, she couldn't change his mind if she tried it seemed. At least he seemed a little sad about that. Was it an improvement? Did he want to be her friend? She seemed to have brightened up about that. At least now he had one friend.

Ed had walked a ways away, and as he got colder he began to wonder, why isn’t she following me yet? He stopped and looked back, and seeing nothing he just stood there, probably looking stupid. He then had a decision to make, go back and be friends with the overly cheerful mare, or go on his way to continue how his life was now. Which was fine, too. His hoof was making markings in the dirt as he pondered his decisions.

Tohru didn't know if she should stay there and watch him leave, or leave back to her Teepee in case her mate was worried about her. She looked to him and smiled and then looked towards where she would be heading. It wouldn't hurt to wait a few more seconds?

He sneaked a look over his shoulder to see if she was still there. She was. Making a fast decision, he turned around and started walking back to where she was. Now he was wondering if maybe it was a bad decision. He shook his head a moment later. Dealing with any consequences, should there be any, he would be able to deal with them.
