Venerax decided to spend the next few days sitting up against the tree, which he had run into the night before. He had caught the Hoothoot, though he hadn't sent it out to meet his new companion. He leaned his head against the tree. He still didn't know why the HM was working, at least as long as he sat still it didn't hurt him to sit and think about it.
Cal sat near by on a large rock keeping an eye out for any trouble, while ironically, Venerax nursed his bumps and bruises from the night before. Venerax had been lucky he hadn't broken anything.

After getting no response from Kasiya, Nina hung up her PokeNav and put it into her pocket. She held her egg close to her, and did not notice any movement from it.
Maybe it'll hatch soon, she thought.

It was a blazing hot day in Pallet town, it was the kind of heat that just sucked the energy out of you. No one in there right mind would be outside on a day like today. Well at least no one that didn't have to be outside that day.
Unfortunatly for one young teen he was stuck outside because his parents had just basically kicked him out of the house even though he hadn't even done anything wronge... Well he didn't think he had. Man why did they have to kick me out on my birthday! 'Oh son your 18 now and you need to go out and see the world! Go on a Pokemon adventure start your own daycare center. We allready packed for you, heres some pokeballs, some clean clothes and an egg. Have fun honey! SLAM!' Jeez that took them what ten minutes to do that. Tony thought somewhat bitterly.
He hadn't left his house yet and was actually laying on the cool porch of his house in the shade. Turning his head to the side he spotted the egg his parents had given him laying on his bag. Sighing and pushing himself up he reached over and picked it up and stared at it. Hmm, I wonder whats in it. It certainly feels warm though. Tony glanced over at the door to his house and with a sigh before placing a smile on his face he grabbed his bag and slung it over his shoulder and picked up his egg and holding it in his arms he began to the walk down the path out of Pallet town.

Mitsu, who had fallen asleep had just woken up. The retirived her two previously injured Pokemon from Nurse Joy. Seeing Mike asleep she decided to go to the Pokemart. She glanced in the store as Ivy left himself out. She picked him up and showed him the various items across the shelves.

((Eveyone is all off in Kanto somewhere. Everyone except me and Mike and Mike is not online. D=))
She scanned threw the shelves looking for more Pokeballs. Ivy, who was intruged by the strange object, looked around intently. "Ah! Here they are!" She said finding some Pokeballs. Next to them were Great Balls. She picked up three Pokeballs and two Great balls and headed for the counter to pay for her items.

( That is kind of freaky!)
The sun was beating down relentlessly on top of Tony's head as he walked down the path from Pallet town to Veridian city.(thats the next one right?) At every chance that he could get he ran under a tree and stayed there for a bit. It wasn't that he minded the hot weather, it was just that this was unbaribly hot. Sighing as he leaned against one of the trees Tony scanned the area around him spotting the occational Pokemon running around in the tall grass or across the path. He clutched the warm egg his parents had given to him a bit closer to his body. What should I do if I one of those pokemon want to fight? I can't fight with an egg! It would break! Maybe I should try to catch one, I would need to weaken it though...
Glacing around Tony spotted a few rocks. Picking them up and slipping them into his pocket feeling a bit better. Hopefully that will work. Now I need to get to Veridian city I can probably stay the night at the Pokemon center.

(( eek That is freaky! Any chance it'll happen in the RP, too...? xp ))
Nina didn't even realize that she had dozed off until she felt a shaking wake her up. She had been laying down on her side on the ground, clutching her egg close to her. It was shaking more violently than usual, and she could hear sounds coming from inside of it. Nina rubbed her eyes a few times and felt herself shaking with excitement. "I-- I think it''s time! The egg's about to hatch!" she said, and her Pokemon quickly found their way over to her. They all gazed intently upon the egg.
It horizontally cracked near the top as it shook, and tiny pieces of the shell flew off. A few moments after that, four small cracks appeared, two on each side of the egg, near the midsection and the bottom area. Those parts of the shell were forced off as a pair of tiny hands and legs popped out. After that, the top part of the egg flew off as a tiny head rose from the shell.
"Prrrrrrrri?" the newborn Togepi asked, as it blinked.
((Yep, that's my new Pokemon, Mitsu. ^_^ And I noticed that my Marill is level 19-- can I make her evolve?))

((Don't tell me your character likes Mike too Willow? Then it'd be like a love square or somthing. xd ))
She walked up to the counter paying the cost of the items and walked out. Petalburg was nice and it has some small ponds too. Nowhere big enough for Nightmare to swim in though, but Karri and Ivy could splash around in the water. She walked over to the small pond debating on Nightmare's swim.

All was going well on Tony's walk, if you discount the heat until about half way through the walk when Tony, not paying attention to where he was going accidentally stepped on a Rattata's tail. Said Rattata however wasn't very happy and imediatly bit Tony's ankle which caused him to shout and jump in suprise, which sent his egg flying into the air.
Tony upon seeing his egg in the air imediatly paniked forgetting about the Rattata still bitting his ankle he rushed over to catch his egg, making a dive to catch it. The Rattata fell off during the jump to catch the egg and imediatly ran off in a new direction.
"Wow there little egg I almost dropped you!" Tony said happily to his little egg which seemed to give a little burst of warmth in response to him. "Hehe, guess you can hear me in there!"
"Ratta rattata!"
"Huh? Little egg was that you?" Tony looked at the egg in confusion but after a moment he figured that the egg wasn't the cause of the rattata sound. Looking away from the egg he immediatly spotted the cause of the sound. He was completely surrounded by angry Rattata. Apearently he when he had landed he had distroyed there nest. "Eh-heh! Opps! I'll just get going..." Tony slowly stood up glancing nerviosly around at the Rattata colony clutching his egg close. I don't have enough rocks for this! Retreat! With that though in mind Tony imediatly broke into a run and was closely followed by the Rattata colony.

Next to the pond Mitsu released out all her Pokemon. With a brilliant light Bulbasaur begane to glow. Mitsu eyes widened. So soon? she thought. Perhaps it was going to evole in the forest before I caught it.
Bulbasaur glowed a white light now which seemed to grow bigger and bigger until it formed into the shape of it's next evoultion. The light dimmed down and an Ivysaur was in't place. Mitsu was speechless. "Ivy! Ivysaur!" It growled, the Pokemon was no longer, cute but now awesome and cool just like how Mike Charmeleon had turned out. Cute to cool she thought I wonder if Ghastly will turn out cool and Kirlia too.

Nina couldn't contain her happiness, and grabbed Togepi as she stood up, and danced around with her. "I'm so happy that you hatched!" Nina squealed as she brought Togepi in for a hug. "Prii! Togi togi!" It trilled happily, and the rest of Nina's Pokemon looked on with happy faces. "You're going to grow up and be big and strong and be able to beat anyone who opposes you..." Nina's grin almost didn't fit on her face. "I am going to call you..."
Nina stopped in mid-sentence as she heard Cupcake let out a pained "Rill!" She turned and saw Cupcake go flying from a Tackle attack, delivered by an annoyingly strong Rattata. The Rattata threw a dark glance at Nina that could have killed her. Its eyes were very dark and almost hateful. They seemed to pierce through to her soul, and it sent a chill down her spine.
After a moment, it sprinted right for her. When it was within a distance of about three feet from her, Cupcake slammed into it with an equally strong Tackle attack, knocking the Rattata off of its feet and away a good distance. It got back on all fours, then charged for Cupcake. Before it could attack, Nina issued Cupcake a command to perform a Water Gun attack. "Then, use Defense Curl and Tackle in sequence!" Cupcake did as it was told; after performing its Defense Curl, Cupcake waited for Rattata to get near her-- and sure enough, it did-- and Cupcake used this opportunity to spring at it with full force. The Rattata flew back a great distance, and ran off, badly bruised from its encounter.
Nina smiled as Cupcake turned to her. "Cupcake, you were amazing! You saved us!" Togepi trilled in a happy agreement. Cupcake started running over to Nina, but stopped midway. "Cupcake?" Nina asked, "Are you okay?"
Cupcake tilted her head as a very bright white light emenated from her. Her body became silhouetted by the light, and Nina had to practically shield her eyes from it. She watched, however, as Cupcake's body grew a bit taller. A few moments later, the bright light faded, and Nina's new Pokemon had appeared.
"Zumar, Azumarill!" Cupcake cried happily.

"Ow, Ow, Ow." Mike woke up to his Shroomish hopping on his head, he wanted to play. "Alright alright alright!" Mike rolled off of the couch and landed on Nitro, who then whapped Mike in the face with his tail.
"Ow for the fourth time."
Mike ushered his Pokemon outside the Rustboro Pokemon Center and released Shiver and Titanium from their Pokeballs. They all gathered and started to play, as Mike looked around.
"Where's Mitsu?"

After about ten minutes of running Tony finally lost the Rattata mob. Staggering over to a tree and plopping down under it he tree and sat there exaused. Looking down at the egg laying next to him his smile that had stayed on his face even during the chase spread a bit more. The egg was undamaged and was emitting warmth that he could feel even though he wasn't touching it.
Suddenly remembering that his foot had been bitten by a Rattata he looked down at it and winced a bit upon seeing the wound. The blood was still flowing freely down it since it hadn't had time to scab over with all the running he was doing. Reaching over to his pack he reached in and pulled out some cloth and a small cantien of water. He gently wet the cloth and gently dabbed at his ankle effectivly cleaning up the blood and then carefully wrapping it up. Stupid Rattata. Never did like the things, though that may be because they never really liked me... What should I do with the wet cloth though? I don't really want to waste the water but I am not putting that back into the cantien. He looked around for a moment hoping to come up with an idea for the wet cloth.
After a moment he spotted a somewhat wilted and browning plant. Gingerly getting up he went over to the plant and rung the water out onto it. "There you go little plant. That should help you survive!" Tony smiled at the good deed before going back to the tree a leaning back against it and picking up his egg and setting it on his lap he fell asleep tired from his long run.

Nina's mouth fell open. "I-- I can't believe it! Cupcake!" Nina blinked a few times and squatted down, setting Togepi down by her side as she held her arms out, into which Cupcake ran. She gave her a great big hug, and whispered "I'm so proud of you..." Cupcake smiled and Nina kissed her cheek, letting Cupcake out of her embrace. Anna replied, "It was about time..." Anna winked at Cupcake, who smiled back. Nina picked Togepi back up and reached into her pocket with her free hand, pulling out her PokeNav. "Since I can't get ahold of Kasiya," she began, "I'll call Mitsu and Mike and tell them about this!" She searched for Mike's number and dialed it, awaiting a response...
