Smiling in kind acknowledgement to the costume-clad girl, Katsuo gave a small bow. He was supposed to do that, right? He could never seem to remember what he was and wasn't supposed to do. Too bad, he'd done it already -might as well move on and introduce himself the way he wanted to. "My name is Katsuo. It's nice to meet you, Tarii. I don't think we've actually formally met before."
She seemed to be wearing a less-than-stereotypical Halloween outfit. Unlike his, however, it looked much better. Not scary, but definitely good-looking. Turning his eyes and attention to Satu's tin man outfit, he found that a lot of the student's outfits were interesting. He attempted to keep his eyes directed toward the two that he was speaking with, though out of the corners of his eyes, he looked at the others' costumes. At least he could get a relatively good look at them, even if it was out of the foggy corners of his vision. It seemed as though a few people weren't there, but there were, in fact, a lot of students attending the Halloween party. Some he knew, many he didn't really recognize. He still had over three years to meet them, though. He had time. He could put it off just a little longer.

Audric couldn't help but let out a small blush when his costume was complimented; not that this color change was very noticeable as Audric's cheeks were already slightly red from the chilly air. It was only his first Halloween ever and he had obviously hit the nail on the head with the costume part. It appeared the goal of Halloween was to look as goofy as you possible could. "Maybe there'll be dancing or a game soon that'll warm us up." Audric joked. Not to say he wasn't keeping his fingers crossed that one of these would happen.
Audric was delighted that he was making so many friends so quickly. Knowing the naming system was somewhat different in Japan, he was somewhat honored to be allowed to call these girls by something other than their last names. "Oh, don't call me that! Audric is perfectly fine, Chiya." He said nodding, while he took Chiya's outstretched hand.
Off in another, distant corner of the party, the sound of two student council memebers arguing could be heard.
"The game starts right now!"
"No, no! Let everyone eat first."
"They can stuff themselves later."
"Aurgh! Do you ever listen?"

PUMPKIN CARVING GAME "AHEM."
Standing on top of a large chair, microphone in hand, the student council member smiled down at everyone. "Good evening, everyone! I'm glad to see many people could make it here tonight, and I'm sure there are a lot more to come. While we wait for them though, why not have a little contest?"
A few cheers rose into the air, and one of them - a very clear, 'YAY!' - could be distinguished as Mitsuko's voice. Chuckling at them, the student council member rose his hand to urge everyone to quiet down.
"Well," He continued, once everyone was silent, "We have a couple of carved pumpkins over there, as you can see," He jerked his thumb behind him, towards the refreshment table where the rows of pumpkins sat, "But it's still looking a little plain around here. Personally, I want to see what kind of awesome and creative designs you guys can come up with, so..."
He paused rather dramatically, before stepping off his chair and pointing lamely to a table that had suddenly appeared. On it, sat large pumpkins and beside each of them, carving tools. "I don't know how many of you have actually tried carving pumpkins before, but if you haven't, now is a good time to try!"
[[ XD LAME GAME I KNOW, BUT I'M THINKING ON IT. :B Anyways, for this game, you'll be using this pumpkin, take it to a program (whether it be MS paint or photoshop), and...well, do whatever you want with it! xD
The prize for this game is, like I mentioned a while back, a plushie of your character in their Halloween costume, like this one.
Don't quite know how long this game will run for, as I'm sure everyone is busy lately and whatnot, but I'd say maybe...4 days, or more depending on how many people enter.
XD NOW ENTER. 8D And let's liven up this thread. Halloween may have passed, but it'll still be fun, right? ]]

"Looks like we're finally here then!" Minori said cheerily, adjusting the flower crown on her head. A breath she didn't know she had been holding escaped from her lips. She was still rather...tense over what her and Kiyoshi's parents had just said.
Both the Sagawa family and the Yamada family had decided that since we had been rivals for quite a while now, it would be best to unite the family businesses... Therefore, we had made the decision to engage both our children together. After the both of you graduate from High School, you two will be wed.
Hah.
It was just a stupid, business gimmick. Utter rubbish.
But there was nothing she could do now about it. 'Just enjoy yourself.' A little voice in her head told her. Squaring her shoulders, the brunette tossed Kiyoshi a grin. "Well, are you ready to get out there?"

"Hm, yes, I suppose so," Kiyoshi replied, nodding at Minori after giving instructions to the chauffeur about when to pick him up. He was not planning on staying on too late; he was simply not in a partying mood, especially after hearing about the engagement. Still, he was bent on not ruining anyone else's mood and enjoying himself for the night. Climbing out of the car, he straightened his clothes and raised an eye-brow, "I wonder if everyone else had already arrived before us?"
{I'll play the game! After someone posts! I can't have Kiyo run to the table and carve something right after getting off the car. xD}
