((Hush you. Fate hates me D: ))
"Pidgeotto, wing attack now!" Luna said with on-the-moment thinking. Her previous strategy failed, but that didn't mean she couldn't make it up now!
Pidgeotto winced as Ninetales headbutted his side but then continued to flap his now sharp wings and and flew right right through the side of Nanook with his eyes closed and hoping for a hit.

The hit knocked the air out of him and he grew upset. Shooting a fiery blast at the bird.
"No Nanook!" She said to herself. The Fire Blast attack was a good one... but he was doing it becuase he had a temper. "Listen next time!" Jenette growled. Venna barked in her arms to the Ninetales on the field. "Vulpix! Vullll! (Do it for me!!)
Hoping the attack would hit Nanook got a new sense of thinking as Venna's cried reached him.

"Pidgeotto, let's go through it again with brave bird!"
Pidgeotto's eyes snapped open. "PiGeoooo!"
Pigeotto started the glowing phase and started flying towards the fireblast to get some momentum. Then, the light surrounding him grew brighter and brighter yet again as he broke through the fire blast attack. Yet again, he goes towards Nanook and breaks into a 90 degree turn up into the air five feet from his face. Instead, the energy and Pidgeotto are seperated again and goes straight for Nanook.

Nanook was expecting the energy this time but took the hit head on, not wanting to look weak. He hated looking weak.
"Fire Blast 'em again Nanook!" Jenette shouted as held Venna close.
Nanook ran forward and skidded to a stop. "Niiiine Tallles!" And a fiery burst flew up towards the bird.

"Up!" Luna shouted
Pidgeotto waited till the fire came close, then did a quick ninty degree spiraling drop. Five inches from the ground, Pidgeotto did somewhat of a roll oer turn and started flying parallel to the ground towards Nanook.
"Let's do it! Wing attack!"

The wing attack sliced his side and Nanook yelped with a growl. His anger was getting to him again.
"It's ok Nanook! Headbutt him if you can!" She called out, knowing that the move might prove to be worthless if the Pidgeotto flew away fast enough.
Nanook was soon running like crazy, jumping onto the rocks if he had to, to land that hit on that stupid bird!

Pidgeotto was surprised as a ninetales pounced on him from behind. He was knocked under the larger pokemon.
"Pidgeotto, brave bird!" Pidgeotto started glowing white energy again. This time, he would release it all at once at the other pokemon.

"This energy is getting annoying..." Jenette snarled to herself. Venna squirmed in her arms as she watched the battle slowly come to an end. "Flamethrower! Now!" She hollared.
Nanook was thrown back and again he flipped over to land on his paws. The second he landed he shot a string of fire towards the bird once more.

"Pidgeotto, hurry! Fly!"
Using the brief moment that Nanook was knocked off, Pidgeotto darted into the air, barely missing the flamethrower. He then came down and went to claw Nanook's eyes.

"No! Nanook!!!" Jenette cried as the ninetales shook his head back an forth, blood trckling over his eye and onto his creamy coat. Venna howled in anger and small licks of fire escaped her jaw before Jenette called her back into her pokeball, which was moving frantically on Jenette's belt.
Nanook finally calmed down and kept his left eye closed, it hurt darnit! His temper was rising but he would stay calm for Jenette... and Venna.
"Are you ok Nookie!?" Jenette begged and she got a weak nod in return, weak, but valiant. "Ok Nook, give that blasted bird the biggest fire spin you can manage!"
Nanook nodded once more and took on the former postion, claws dug in, his tails standing up and he opened his jaw. "NINEEEEE...TALESSSS!" The vortex of fire twisted violently towards the bird.

((I suggest not deleting your posts, it could be counted as cheating because there's something suspicous about the odd post count, buuuuuut, I did that before too. Rolling in a seperate post just creates more concrete evidence. So let's just try not to do it again ;3
Since this basically determines who wins...))
"Pidgeotto, let break through that fire!" Luna shouted.
"GEO!"
Pidgeotto started glowing, putting all his energy into what seemed to be a last brave bird attack. He broke through the fire as usual and approached the Ninetales at alarming speed. Then, he didn't pull up, instead, he kept on going straight towards Nanook with beaks and talons ready to tear him up.
((I totally over abuse that bravebird has recoil rofl ))

((Eeek! Sorry >.<;; I didn't realize it looked like cheating. I promise I havn't deleted a post to get a better roll I just always forget to roll... sweatdrop But I promise I'll stop!))
Nanook was now slightly disabled. Not quite used to half his vision trying to doge the Pidgeotto looked more like some wacky mating dance. Being thrown back he whined and weakly got up.
"Headbutt that Pidgeotto while he is still close, Nook!" She called out hoping he could hit the bird with his handicap.
