Rahu knew she was not jurkign him around when she spoke. he wouldn't admit he felt bonded to her in a way because of the fact they had foals and for only let a small sly smirk come to his face. moving away after he gave her a quick nudge it was a incentive for her to follow him as he wandered to walk as stayign in one place was dull plus things where getting serious in their converstaion. " that boy will learn a thing or two if he does decide to follow through with taking me on since he hasnt gotten into nearly as many fights or brawls as i have and even if he trained i still have more experiance than him." giving a small chuckle with a smirk he knew if he got into it with his son it might end up badly.

She sighed and rolled her eyes at Rahu when he nudged her, but followed him anyway. He hated staying still (like she did; after all, they were both wanderers) and moving around wasn't a bad idea. "Actually..." she started, and then quieted, not wanting to let Rahu know that Shizuka had been through plenty of real fights and/or brawls. And, like Rahu, it just never looked like it because of Shizuka's black coat. She refrained from saying much more as she followed Rahu, however. "Experience is noted for something," she agreed, a tone of worry laced with her words. She didn't even want to think of Shizuka and Rahu meeting up with each other; they might end up killing one another, and she didn't like that idea at all.

Rahu caught her worried tone and snorted. " your goign to worry yourself to death if your going to worry about whatever your worrying about." he didnt care if there was a chance Shiz could over take him, his plan was to knock some sense into him and that was all. now silent he was musing over if he should go track down Shiz after he was done here as it might prove interesting to find Shiz.

She snorted right back at him and rolled her eyes. Again. "I worry plenty for the both of us, since you seem disinclined to care how and what your kids are up to, Rahu." Her voice was laced with annoyance, affection, and teasing as she bent down to nibble at some grass. "Besides, if you're planning to find Shizuka, try not to kill him. I know you have more experience than he and that you're probably still stronger--you have the advantage of knowing him after all--but be careful anyway. Shizuka was trained by Windflame. I'm sure you know who that is, though I don't know if you've met." Her golden gaze flicked up at Rahu to watch his reaction, though she only needed to watch his red eyes to understand what he saw. "It's not a problem if I... hang around, is it?" she asked carefully. The only place she had left to go was back to that two-legger her father lived with, along with Shimshek and Mocha, with an occasional visit from Windflame (he scared off the mares except for her dad, who, as always, stayed behind to protect Miakoda) and more visits from her baby brother Toquah'kan, and even some from Mocha's uncle, Hinote. All in all, she wasn't really in the mood to deal with that kind of thing, though the last she'd heard of Shimshek or Mocha was that they had both decided to travel and were both now staying elsewhere. That left the only other mare that sort of lived with them on occasion--Windflame's daughter, Blackfire. Rahu would have loved Blackfire. The mare had spunk, and she could fight. She shook her head, she was trailing off topic...

Rahu nipped at her with a snort and stopped in place. " i wont kill the boy, all i plan to do isknock some sense into him and i hardly care who trained him. as to being acused of not caring what the boys and daughter are up to, i know they can handle themselfs just fine. they really dont need to be treated like foals." but at her question he raised a brown and went silent. now the question in his mind of why in the hell she would want to hang around with him. grunting, he mused over how to respond but it didnt take long. " care to explain why you would ask such a question?"

She glowered at him playfully when he nipped at her but otherwise stayed silent as she listened to him. However, she flinched when Rahu asked why she wanted to stay with him, and then looked away. "Nevermind. I'll... I guess I'll see you around, then, Rahu." Maybe she could wander around on her own again. She no longer had a mate, and well, that gave her a freedom she could barely remember anymore. But... that freedom came with the one feeling she didn't like: lonliness. Perhaps that's why she had asked to stay with Rahu, the holder of her heart, but she had other reasons as well. She didn't want to come home and disappoint her father, and she didn't want to return to her mother, either. They would be sad, and when they were sad it made her heart ache. Maybe she could go and find Mocha... no wait, Mocha was off visiting a friend.
There was always Shimshek, but Shimshek had long returned to her mountains, so that left her to hang around with Blackfire. But... Blackfire had some family problems the mare wanted to resolve herself, though Aruna doubted the Wind-Kalona would be able to do a thing to stop Windflame. She closed her eyes and sighed. "Don't worry about it Rahu, nevermind. Um, I have stuff to do, so I'll see you around... don't knock Shizuka around too roughly now, okay?" With those final words of "goodbye", Aruna began to move in a different direction from Rahu. Her chest ached but she ignored it. She had already gone through enough emotional pain to not really worry about it anymore.

Rahu gave a growl of annoyance at how she didnt even answer his question and was now walking off on him. giving a snort he quick moved after her and grabbed at her mane. she was not gonna get away that easly when he wanted a answer to his question and it wasn't as if he had givin her a answer ether on her question. "where the hell do you think your going? think you can easyly just walk away without answerign my questin and not even waiting a answer to your own?"this was all said in sneer with a mouth full of her lovely mane which he was not about to let go just yet.

She winced when Rahu snagged her hair in his mouth and jerk her to a stop. She tugged at weakly and found that he wasn't going to let her mane go. Glowering at him, she turned away. "You didn't answer it in the beginning, so I took it as 'get the hell away from me'. You were always like that with me, anyway. I'm no real exception to the rule, right?" She snorted and looked away. "Sneer and growl and glower all you want; it just means you don't want me around." Why was he continuing this conversation anyway? He never said he loved her, and Rahu never really proved anything to say that he enjoyed her around. Why did she even bother anymore? And on top of all this, she had the guilt that layered her heart about Delano. The poor unicorn was probably in shock because of what she had done... She glared at the ground. She was the worse mare possible alive. She should just jump off a cliff and die.

Rahu snorted and gave one last tug of her mane before letting go. sheesh she was all geting emotional on him and even was glowering at him. tossing his mane he gave his own glare at her. " in your own words your a dolt. you where quick to asume before i even answered you because i wanted first to know why." growling he motioned with his head to follow him as he started to walk off. "not like i can stop you from doing as you pleased. and here i thought you loooved me so you wouldnt asume such things." glancing over with a smug smirk he knew she would follow if he riled her up enough and it wasnt really true he couldnt stop her, cause if he felt the want he could physicly.

"What's wrong with hanging around with some I..." she trailed off, and only glared at him bitterly. "Nevermind. Every time I'm straightforward with you, you keep thinking I'm not. So forget it." However, instead of running away like she did before, she merely looked away and glared at the ground. She glanced back in surprise at his words afterwards, and then made a silent snarling sound in her throat. Who was he to tell her to... well... Snorting in irritation now, she followed him. "Just because I love you doesn't mean I can't assume things! You'd do the same thing I'm sure... but you don't really love me, do you? I'm sure you like me enough to let me be in your company, but really..." He had irritated her enough that she was following him now. Of course, now she was unsure why she -was- following. Seeing that he -seemed- to not be paying to her, she slowly began to move away from him. She wasn't sure what his motives were, and it was only Rahu who seemed to elude her at every angle.

if she had walked away on him, he would have just merely went after her again just like before when he grabbed her mane. smirking he contiuned to walk, and knew Aruna was following him. " i would beleive everyone assumes at one point or another and who's to say no one has ever assumed somethign by anothers actions." oh he was having his little game with her and he wondered if she would be quick to pick up on it. " give me a good reason to trust anyone and maybe i will be more likely to assume your flat out telling me the truth." stopping he then looked over at her with the smirk still on his face. "but then again who can tell if i always assumed you always been honest with me or if i only playing games with you."

She glowered at him, her sharp golden eyes narrowed slits as she pursed her lips. "Shut up, Rahu. Your little game can't get to me; you've never been one to beat around the bush to start with." Miffed, she glanced away, wanting to contain her anger at this infuriating stallion. "Stop speaking in riddles and get to the point already. You're probably going to give us both headaches enough, and why should I give you a reason to trust me? There shouldn't be anything stronger than knowing that I love you and that I would never lie to you. Have I -ever- lied to you? If I have, then I apologize right now." She dipped her head in a slight bow.
"I'd always -assumed- you would believe me, because we -did- grow up together, Rahu. We've always been what I'd hope I could call the -best of friends- but apparently that isn't the case here. Am I sitting on unrequited love after all?" she spat, returning her strong gaze upon the rogue stallion she couldn't understand why she loved so dearly. "Really, after all we've been through." She trusted Rahu unerringly, but wouldn't say this aloud. Somehow, they had been through everything together, despite how far apart they'd been from the other. Of course, Aruna figured that by now she probably should just move on. She would just be living by herself or she'd have returned to where she first lived originally.
Thinking as much, she turned away from Rahu, thinking he would probably let her go this time. He seemed only to be half-serious today anyway. She'd find him another time. Originally she was just planning to follow him around, but now it seemed like a good idea to just settle somewhere and if she felt like traveling she'd run into Rahu again at some point in time. That's how it had been from the beginning anyway...

Rahu just gave a mocking laugh as he listened to her. man how he forgot how much amusment he could get from being around her. " you dolt, i bleive my little game has already gotten to you and caused you to be very angry." he gave smirk and lazyly followed her as he decided to try adn walk away from him yet again. " and here i thought i was the one that was suppost to 'run away' from everything but maybe im wrong." giving another laugh, he then gave a fake bored yawn. " in all seriousness do stick around if you please, its been a long while plus there might be some amusment with being around one another but who knows. for now though i'm going to find that foolish son of mine but do stick around if you please." giving a snort mixed with a chuckle, he then walked off, to go search for Shizuka.

Riled up to the point where she figured she ought to kick Rahu in the shins... hard... she sighed and shrugged. "So what if it has? You've always known how to push my buttons, you idiot!" Her tone was laced with annoyance and affection all at once, though she was close to the point of breaking her control. "Running away? I suppose I am. But if you're not being serious what's the point of trying to get answers out of you?" So what if she was running away?
She blinked when she saw he was following her. "What the hey? Why are you following me? That's a new one..." She stopped and turned around, raising an eyebrow at his odd behavior. "You're not going to hurt him too badly, are you?" She grew worried although she was thrilled Rahu had accepted her back and even allowed her to stay with him. She never got her answer as he walked away, but she knew it wouldn't be too far.
If he got too far away she could just always follow his scent; it wasn't that hard, and she knew his scent by heart. She also knew how to find him (odd as that was) and so contented herself with eating the sweet, fresh grass around her hooves.
