He nodded to her and went over to her side. "I won't leave you." he said softly and ventured far enough as to even nuzzle her cheek softly. He wasn't sure if it was apropriate to do so or not but it felt right. "I am also glad you do not hate me. I wouldn't leave you alone. That is what my mother did to my father when I was born. I would not wish the same on you." He said suprising himself at how grown up he sounded.

"My mother did the same...my brother and sister went with her though." Leilani nuzzled him in return. "Your a wonderful friend, Rhapsody. You'll make a wonderful father too."

Rhapsody's heart sadden at what his friend had told him. So it wasn't only his mother who could be so cruel to her own children. "I have a sibling too but I have never met her. All I know is she is my sister and that is all my father knows of her as well. But don't worry, I promise to be here and to try and help you in whatever way possible. It's the least I can do since I caused all of this."

"Thank you." Leilani nuzzled him again. "We'll manage together, you'll see." She smiled, a little less afraid now. "Come see my Papa with me...he doesn't know yet."

"What?!" Rhapsody said in a voice that was too high. Now that they had gotten over the initial shock of the pregnancy he was faced with a whole new and even scarier situation...and that was meeting her father. He sooo did not want to do that. Her father would most likely kill him when he found out of the unplanned foals to be.

"Please, Rhapsody, I can't go alone." Leilani sighed. "It'll be okay. Papa is nice. He'll likely be happy for us, just might feel the need to hold you to your word about staying."

"Are you sure he won't be enraged when he finds out we aren't even mated or anything? I am sure he won't be too happy that I got you knocked up. Fathers are potective of thier daughters." he said still feeling a but worried over this meeting her father. He really really didn't think it was a good idea. Not every stallion was as understanding as his own father was...which made him think that he would have to tell him and Glow this news as well.

"If you say you are sure he won't kill me then I guess I will have to go see your Papa. As for you coming with me to see my father, you will have to meet him eventually. He will want to meet the mother of his grandchildren. Though that means you will also have to meet my grandmother and my step-mother and probably the rest of the family if we get around to it." he said sighing. "Though the only one that really needs to know right off the bat his my father and I am sure I am going to get this really long winded lecture when I tell him."

"Yeah once he is done scolding me then he will be happy about it. I know my grandmother will be doubly excited though it might make her feel even older. Though my step mom would go automatically to feeling old since she doesn't have any children of her own" he said analyzing how his family would react. He really didn't want it to go badly. They had enough problems to begin with.

Leilani smiled and nipped at his mane. "You worry too much sometimes, Rhapsody." She whinied a little and turned to start back toward the village. "Come on, lets get this over with."
