"Oh, whoops," Kate said, laughing nervously. "Name's Kate. And I've only been here for... hm... half an hour maybe? Still, this place really creeps me out. Did you notice that although from the outside there are windows, they aren't any from the inside?" She ran her hand along the wall, as if expecting to find a trick window among the stones. "What kind of crazy architect built it, I wonder."
Realizing she had gone off on her own thoughts, she brought herself back looking sheepish. "My point was that there aren't windows to smash, so that's not a plausible escape route. But, uh, have you found a staircase yet? Because, maybe there are windows up there," Kate finished lamely, shrugging.

"Actually I haven't paid any attension to that. I've been absolutly caught up with exploring this magnificent building. The inside is so much bigger than it appears from the outside.." He said looking down the seemingly endless hallway Kate had travled up from. "It's like something from a bok. I'm just glad we havent run into any sort of traps, or the works." He said taking a step out of the door and closing it behind him.

Alysha stood before the mansoin's door. Should I go in? she had heard the rumors. That if you went in, you never came out. She reached for the door handle. Hesitated. I should go. No one would miss me. I have always been the problem. Never the solution. Now I can be the solution. She gathered up all her courage and turned the handle and stepped through the door.
The foyer was beautiful. The tiles were black and white, and a staircase led up to the second floor. She set her bag down and went upstairs.

Kate snorted at the very thought of booby traps. What was this, an Indiana Jones remake? "It's just a dumb, old, musty house. There's nothing special about it."
Just as the words left her mouth, a quiet voice asked pleadingly, "Is there anyone there, dear?"

Sara stood behind a tall oak tree outside the mansion. The dead leaves dancing around her as she hid from the girl infront of the large majestic doors. Sara had always wanted to enter the mansion, but never had the time. Although, today, she seemed to have enough time to follow this girl all the way to the large, old mansion. Sara watched as the girl opened one of the doors and walk in. As she watched she noticed the door close by itself and it perked her interest and curiosity. She ran to the door, swung it open and jumped inside.

Defensively, Kate held held up her arms. "I didn't know! How was I supposed to know there was a freakin ghost in the house?!" she tried to reassure herself with the words.
"Excuse me, but I am not a ghost. Or... at least I am not aware that I am." A young woman with dark hair, sculpted up on her head, in a white floor-brushing dress appeared from around the bend in the hall. She glided rather than walked, showing poise and grace not seen for over a hundred years. Her nearly porcelain skin appeared almost unreal. With a slight curtsy, she said, "My name is Suzanah Fullerton. Welcome to the mansion."
"Whoa, wait, time out!" Kate exclaimed. "You're the owner?"
The woman deliberated for a moment and said, "No, but I live here." She looked the two of them over and an eyebrow arched very daintily over her icy blue eyes. "You are dressed oddly. Could you tell me the year?"

A girl jumped into the mansion as Alysha was about to turn around to test to see whether she was actually stuck inside. Alysha jumped, slipping on the rug and falling on her a**.
"s**t!There I go, screwing things up agian," she said angrily.

Sara looked at the checkered floor and the big, beautiful, glass chandelier. It was glowing dimly. Then she heard the large door, from which she came in through, close hard. She spun around and attempted to open it, but it wouldn't budge. After she had looked over the door she finally noticed that the girl she was following had fallen over.
"Oh. I'm sorry. Did I push you over?", she said a little embarrassed and bent over to help the girl up.

Ray went to speak but found no words came out. For he was staring at someone that had come out of a movie. Nobody had those kinds of looks these days, or those kinds of cloths. He looked to Kate, and then back to the woman before finally finding his toung. "Uh well.... I thought it was 2007, but now I'm not so sure..." He trailed off looking back to Kate for support.

"No, you didn't knock me over...you just startled me into being the ******** spaz that I am. It's my fault, not yours...I'm Alysha, by the way."
Alysha looked around the foyer again, and it was ever more captivating than before. She reached out for the door handle to see if they really were stuck inside. The metal was cold, as if it were winter and no one had touched the door in a week. Alysha tried to turn the handle, but it wouldn't budge. She smiled with satisfaction. This was one thing that she hadn't messed up.

"I'm Sara and we are completly stuck in this mansion." Sara said this quite bluntly and watched Alysha smile as she noticed the silver, hand crafted knob wouldn't move. 'Why are you so happy? I mean, if you don't mind me asking." She pulled out a small, round notepad, from her black and white panda messenger bag, and started scribbling down the features of the mansion.

Kate mirrored Ray's bewildered and lost expression, looking the woman's appearance over with a look of disbelief. After a moment, she said weakly, "Um, yeah, last I checked it was 2007..."
The woman nodded, as though the information was normal enough. A soft, maternal smile settled on her face, out of place on her prim appearance. "I suspected as much," she admitted, shaking her delicate head apologetically. "You children must be confused. And although I can't exactly explain it, perhaps you will here my story?"

"Because. I just wanted to get away from everything. I couldn't really cope with my life and this is a much better alternative to suicide, don't you think?"
The sparkle of the chandelier caught her eye, and Alysha decided to explore a bit.
"I'm going to have a look around. Care to join me?"

Sara looked up from her notepad with an agreeable look and said,"It is much better then taking your life. I've wanted to take my life once...or twice...but I guess I thought like you did. To come here. Although it took longer then I thought because of my teachers and mom." She looked back at the door and shook her head lightly. She closed the notepad, put it in her panda bag, and slung it over her shoulder. "Sure I'll come along. I just hope it's not haunted or anything.", she said as she walked to the middle of the foyer with an anxious feeling.
