God damn, I'm surprised the kid's parents didn't do something, I know for a fact my dad would have slammed them to the ******** ground if they did something like that when I was little. I agree with you. My mum would've went crazy. ANd InvertedKingdom. The mum just stood their holding the kid? She didn't like run after the other ones?

Her kid is hurt and bleeding, and you expect her to abandon him to go after the kid who did it? Especially since the cops had it handled.
