Kabichi looked thoughtful, then decided she had to have a plan before mentioning an idea to Zimwi. Still, she wanted her cousin and potential mate to stay....
LIGHTBULB.
"There's a family of Wild Dogs near the Waterimng hole. Maybe you can stay with them for a while? Both of you?"

The snow-pelted male pondered this, then shook his head. "No, it's alright... I have to meet other lions, anyway. I've spent so long in the dying jungle with less than ten lions ever seen in a moon's phase... I've become too afraid of my own shadow, so to say. It's for the best I go out and meet others and not stay in one place with few lions."

No way her cousin would need meet anyone nasty, though.

A shrug and a smile were offered by the male. "It's alright. We're doing pretty alright out here. Nothing's attacked us, so.." A sigh escaped before he got up. "Speaking of Safura, I should get back. She might worry about me." He rubbed against Kabichi, letting out a purr. "It was good meeting you, cousin! If the place we look at doesn't work out, we can come back here! Safura's got family out here, too!" Orange eyes danced, then he turned and hurried off. If he had a cousin living in the Pridelands, he would be safe there, too! Would it work out, though?

Kabichi purred, rubbing back, and watched her cousin run, tail swaying. She liked him, and it was good knowing she had a family still....
She just hoped he wouldn't run into hyenas.
