The blue lioness was still floored at the skill that this hyena held in her small head. If there was just a way that Bara could hold onto her...no. Do not think like your father, she thought. Befriend her, encourage her, but do not force her to do anything. The lioness looked over the hyena to see that dawn would soon fall upon them. Zuir would not be happy, but hopefully Tahari would be alright enough to help Bara out. The two of them seemed to think so closely at times, it was very strange. Almost like Bara's mother.
"Barafu'malkia, but Bara works fine." She offered a nod and glanced back down at the hyena, only to see her trying to pull herself up on her shakey legs. The blue lioness slid into position, letting the hyena lean on her to gain her ground and steady herself. Once she seemed to stand up alright, Bara led her, slow step by slow step, towards the area that she left her family.
Fupa would cry out when she stepped on something that wasn't flat ground, but the hyena would tread on, grinding her pain through her teeth, letting the tears full of pain fall. The blue lioness would offer some small words of comfort, and they would carry on again, until where they met was nothing but a speck behind them. Strange how neither one of them knew just what the future would hold in store for them. They wouldn't know for many moons to come.
