"Well for most things that true but I've always found these grasses to be special you know?" He said with a smile his laughter dying down a bit. He was glad she wasn't acting like he was completely stupid. True he was acting pretty silly but that didn't make him stupid. It was a very pleasant change to know that someone could differentiate the two. "I caught a faerie here once you know? When I was little. Can't help but think she's still out and about you know?"
He started laughing once again. He had just noticed he had finished three sentences with 'you know'. "So other then meeting me what're you doing out here?" He asked again very curious. It wasn't like this was his private get away but the plains were huge so he hardly ever saw any others let alone a mare that thought something was rude. What she thought was rude he would probably never know.

She smiled, looking at the grasses and nodding. "They look like very special grasses indeed."
She said, her chocolate eyes soft. His youth was inspiring, and it made her want to be silly too..But Marahute tried to be grown-up,and Silly wasnt a mood she was in much.
"Caught a Fairy? Really? I met a fairy once too! He was dark brown like the trees, but had long flowy green hair..He was called Dayunsi. He was very much the gentleman."
She said nodding and smiling. Though that was the only flutter she'd ever met..
"Hmm? Oh Im not doing anything really..Out for a walk I guess."

His golden eyes went wide and a huge grin spread on his face. She had actually seen a fairy in a real form?! That was amazing! he'd only ever seen the light of one. This mare must be quite special indeed. "Wow...mine ran away...but she left me a very pretty stone. I don't think she wanted to be caught. You're luck to have met one." He nodded feeling much happier then he normally did.
He was odd so very few people ever believed in what he said or even paid attention to him but she not only believed him but she had experienced it first hand.
"A walk? Me too...well...more of a visit really. I haven't done much walking." His grin slowly got smaller but his almost trademark smile remained. "So...where'd you come from? Ocean? Mountains? Village? Forest? Somewhere else maybe?"

She grinned, liking the spunk of the fellow.
"Oh yes. Dayunsi was a good meeting ofmine indeed." She beamed, her chocolate orbs dreaming slightly about that one day.
She hadnt thought seeing a fairy would be special..She had assumed it was natural..At least Dayunsi hadnt been terrified or tried to flit off.
"Maybe she was shy." She said softly.
"I come from the valley between the mountains and the prairie."

"Hmmm...seems like it could be possible." He said tilting his head to the side a bit. He couldn't quite figure out why someone that was shy would leave something behind. He smiled and let out a small laugh. "Aww...I think she may have liked me." He said finding that to be the only logical conclusion. "Maybe she'll come back one day and I can find out her name..."
He smiled at the golden mare. "I know the area...I got lost there once...get lost a lot actually..." He laughed a bit remembering all the times he had lost his way. You would think that roaming so much one would better know places, he was not so fortunate.
"I'm from the village...in case you were wondering."

The village? Instantly she wanted to shy away. She was not afan of humans.. Not at all. She backed away only slightly.
"The village?Isnt that kinda dangerous?" She asked.
Her mother had always warned her of the humans, and she had never taken it lightly.

He took immediate notice of her change in behavior. He hadn't pegged her as one that would be afraid of anything really, especially not somewhere as charming as the two-leggers village.
"Uhhh...no?" He said titling his head to the side a bit confused. He had never once thought of his home as dangerous. To him it was one of the safest places around. "It's a real nice place actually." He continued nodding his head with a smile trying to warm her up to the idea. "There are lots of other horses around and some real nice two-leggers that give you apples and carrots and they brush out your coat for you."

She nodded, giving a smile and relaxing slightly.
"Well what would I need my coat brushed for?" She asked with a c**k of her head.
"My mate doesnt mind it too much." She said with a giggle. She didnt need a brushed pelt, when no one really cared about her not being brushed.
She was just a wild mare, and nothing would tame her, even the prospect of a good brushing.
"Hey, if it works for you, thats awesome." She said with a smile.

He supposed that was a fair point. He couldn't be entirely sure but it seemed that a lot of what was done in couples depended on the others opinion on the matter. He wondered how that worked at times.
"It does feel nice though." He said with a cheerful smile. He wasn't trying to convince her that the village wasn't bad anymore. In truth he had forgotten why he had mentioned the brushing in the first place. Right now this conversation just seemed completely random in his mind but there was nothing wrong with it.

She smiled and nodded. It was indeed a random conversation, but the mare was genuinely all right with random. It was something she liked a great deal actually, as it made life exciting.
"My father lives with two leggers..Its why I rarely see him,if ever." She said with a smile and a nod.
"He loves her to death..So I imagine he likes being brushed too!"

He made a face that resembled an injured puppy. She didn't get to see her dad because of a human? That was so sad. Granted he didn't see his dad much either but that was more because he hadn't decided to go see him. This was so much different.
"That's so unfair..." he said sounding like he was the one with the problem and not her. "Even if brushing is nice he should still come and see you..."

She smiled softly, giving him anudge on the cheek. "Im sure he will..and Im sure he would have had he known where I was all this time.. But I wake up sometimes hoping to see him coming over a hill." She nodded.
"Mother is easy to visit..She lives away from the humans, and I dont have to worry about anything with her."
She loved her family, but she was definatelycloser to her mother.

At the mention of her mother he paused. It had been a while since he had last seen his own mother. Several weeks. She was likely lonely without him. He looked over at the golden mare next to him and bit his lip. Would it be rude to leave her now? He didn't know.
Shuffling his feet back and forth he looked at her with a very guilty look plastered on his face. "Hey...would you be mad if I left?" He asked sounding almost like he was expecting her to snap at him, which in a way he was. He was very used to dealing with violent mares and found it was best to be prepared for anything.
He really didn't want to make her angry or upset but he couldn't happily chat with a picture of his mother, upset, in his mind.
