Taken aback by the Time Lord's spunk, Pixel had almost jumped back in shock. This one was much more excited than any of the others she had been with, whom were more serious towards the job. Not that it was a bad thing, she thought, a smile pulling at her lips. Things didn't seem too bad, and at least she looked like she knew what she was doing. Somewhat. Her eyes narrowed at the word 'trainee', not really liking the label at all. Shaking her head, she let her eyes soften again, back to their normal self. Even if they looked a bit back-offish in a way. "Call me Pixel....please," she said, whispering the last word. No matter how much older and more experienced a Time Lord could be, they were not going to call her by 'trainee'. "Glad to be working with you," she finished, sending a smile back to the girl, bowing slightly. Brushing her bangs back, only for them to fall back into place, she let her hand stay by her forehead. "I'm going to head back to the TARDIS if it's alright with you," she started, only to lower her hand a bit. "Maiden...was it?" With a nod, she saluted and gave The Counselor and Watcher reassuring looks, before rocking back on her heels and spinning. "The next time I see you will be in 1870," she called to the girl, almost running out of the door. Pixel was known to be a procrastinator, but during work it was basically all work, no play. She wouldn't fail a mission, not even if her life depended on it. As soon as she exited the building, not really wanting her thoughts to be bothered, her eyes turned cold. Quickly unlocking the pad with a silver key, she stuffed the key into her pocket and went into the door. On the inside, her door was a 20th century, carved oak door. Leaning against the wooden entrance, she sighed, sliding down for a bit. "Next stop, 1870....bloody great," she laughed, a slight British accent in her voice.

The Maiden didn't even get a chance to respond before Pixel had already disappeared out the door. She didn't think too much of it, just shrugged and gave the others a quick wave and a grin before heading out. Back inside her TARDIS she gave a desultory run through of the items within her knapsack. Screaming Eggbeater, communicator, miscellaneous rocks she'd picked up along the way to and from the Eye (which she promtly dumped onto the floor without a second thought), and a random assortment of a couple other things. "Alright..." The Maiden mumbled to herself. Where had she put that- oh right, under the bed! She jumped up, shuffling through the clutter over to a relatively clean clearing where a matress lay on the floor. Just sticking out from underneath it was the end of what looked to be an electrician's utility belt, with some minor adjustments. She yanked it out and fastened the belt around her waist so it slung low and comfortably onto one hip. The eggbeater she attached by a velcro strap for easy access, and stuffed the rest of her supplies into the various pockets that hung off of the belt. "Okay!" She exclaimed to herself. The Maiden snatched her trusty Ten Ton Hoe off the floor and stood infront of the door to her TARDIS, impatient to get the okay to leave.

The Counselor nodded as the two went out. He turned to Watcher. "OK, give them clearance to leave." The Watcher gave a quick nod and spoke into the communicator. "Maiden, you have clearance to leave. Full use of your TARDIS is granted. Pixel Leong, you have clearance for a single jump. All other needed flights will need permission from one of us, and you will piggy-back on The Maiden's tunnel. Please open your rifts. And good luck."(( here's the sound of a TARDIS going through a rift. you hear it when you leave and when you land ))

Holding the communicator lazily in her hand she nodded. "Got it," she said softly, putting the device back into her pocket, rushing back to her room. Opening the door, a few things spilt into the hall but she just made her way, finding a few things, placing them into the pockets of her shorts. Fastening a belt onto the shorts, two small pouches on her hips. Making her way out, she kicked everything back into the room, slamming the door shut on them. Grabbing her key, after a few seconds of searching through her pockets, organizing things as she did so, she flipped it in the air, catching it. Reaching into the pouch on the right side of the belt, she pulled out a silver chain, putting the key safely onto it. [[ How do we open rifts? >.<;; Sorry, I'll edit this paragraph if it's like totally wrong ]] Going back to her door, she ran her hand through her bangs, but they fell back into place again. Twirling the key she opened a small hidden pad on her door, revealing a lock. Putting the key in, she turned it one way, and turned it the opposite way, pulling it out. Hearing the noise that had signalled that she was now going through the rift, she nodded, pulling the small chain around her neck. Hearing it land she slowly opened her door, checking to make sure no one was around when she climbed out of the box.

(( well, it's not exactly how Doctor Who did it, but if everyone has personalized TARDISs, it makes sense that the way they activate it is different. really, in the show, the was only ever one TARDIS: his police box (the picture at the top of the first page). i took a LOT of liberties making this RP xp ))

"Ten-four kemosabe!" Maiden chirped back as Watcher gave her clearance to leave. She tucked the communicator back into it's pocket on her belt and raised one hand, pulling back her bracelets to make sure they weren't in the way. Taking a deep breath, she pressed her palm firmly against what had looked to be a blacked out window. A strange light emanated from behind her fingers, tracing the contour of her hand's shape. A mechanical whiring followed by a beep came from somewhere within the door, announcing it was ready for use. Maiden nodded. So far so good. She'd made a couple minor changes to the TARDIS' system and hadn't had a chance to try it along such a large rift, but it seemed to be working smoothly enough. Shoving harder against the pseudo-window, the screen fell back with a small click. Immediately the TARDIS activated the rift as a long, loud pulsing resonated through the room. Maiden stood calmly before the door, hand steadfastedly pressed to the window. Mere seconds later the noises faded away, leaving a deep silence in its stead. Maiden lowered her arm, and slowly opened the door.

Emerging from the box, Pixel dusted off her shorts, turning to face the city. She could hear the clattering of the chains as they tightly fixed themselves around the box, before the soft clink of the pad lock activating. Nodding, she scanned the area, mentally kicking herself. She had no idea what The Maiden's TARDIS looked like, so just searched the area she was in. If The Maiden was already here, which she should've been since they landed only a minute or so apart, Pixel hoped she was out of her home, so they could find eachother. A few people looked at her, giving her strange looks when she returned the gaze. Blinking her eyes, baffled, she only realized what they were talking about when they pointed and whispered to each other. In their eyes, the sharp blue orbs she had shocked them, she must've looked a bit awkward. Looking away from the people who now stared, or averted their gaze as well, she continued looking for The Maiden, as well as the harbor. When she had a boat in her sight, she smiled in relief, trying to peer at it from behind a building. Looking a ways off, she noticed something strange, her smile turning into a small smirk before disappearing. A refridgerator stood, standing out from the normal buildings, much like her box. It opened a bit, and she walked over a bit, but stopped, picking up a small piece of gravel, throwing it at the door.

A small rock hit maiden's foot as she emerged from her TARDIS. "Hey!" She exclaimed, looking around for the gravel throwing perpetrator. A grin overtook her expression as she recognized Pixel not standing too far off. The girl was quick to have found her already. "Hey Pixel!" She called with a friendly wave. "Glad to see you made it!" Beyond the trainee Maiden could make out the shapes of milling workers along the harbor, and in the background great trading ships and smaller boats rocking gently in the cold gray sea. The time lord turned around and shut the refrigerator door. A click announced the locking device taking effect. Maiden nodded her head in satisfaction and walked over to Pixel, still grinning amiably. "Okay! Ready to go?"

"They've arrived in 1870. Only two minutes off their intended target," The Watcher said. The Counselor nodded and smiled; this was going well so far. Watcher turned to stand beside him. "Something about this doesn't seem right," he said quietly. Still smiling, the Counselor said, "Oh I'm quite sure 'somethings' not right. In fact, I'm almost certain this is a much bigger problem than we originally thought." The Watcher looked at him and raised an eyebrow. "What are you thinking?" He asked curiously. "Oh," he said merrily, "that would ruin the fun if I said right away. And we don't quite have all the facts anyway."
The Watcher was about to press more when another tech came over. "Sir, we've got another disruption." Counselor clapped his hands, "Two in one day! We're on a roll. When and where?" "2064. An orbiting station around one of Jupiter's moons. Uh... Europa. Primarily mining for fossil fuels within Europa, they employ and regularly house around 300 people. We believe a group of Cybermen will attack it in hopes of getting its resources, causing the death of all aboard it." The Counselor rubbed his chin and finally said, "That's tragic, but it doesn't quite seem cataclysmic does it? I wonder why the Eye acted up at it..." "We don't know yet. Would you like me to see who we have available?" "Hm... yes. Better find someone of a high level." There was a brief pause, then: "The Musician just came back from a mission in the 1600s." The Counselor laughed. "That'll do. Call her in."

Waving back, Pixel almost laughed to see the other's reaction. Although, when she started to walk over, she was a bit shocked. It was as if The Maiden was sucking all of the excitement from her, not that it really mattered. The Maiden's happy appearance was almost too shocking, but that would probably make the mission just a bit more interesting, she reminded herself. Nodding she let her eyes turn back to the harbors. "Ready when you are," she said in a somewhat robotic voice. She really needed to find something else to say when that question was asked. It was like a broken record playing only when the missions started. Stretching her arm over her head she started to walk towards the harbor, almost ready to see the Time Lord rush past her, although she wouldn't pick up the pace unless they were going to miss the boat. "So, have a plan?" She asked, wanting to see what the traveler had to say before they were unsynchronized with their ideas. Plus, it was better to know now before they got ahead of themselves as well as when no one was really around.

Code Blue: Return to Citadel Immediately... Code Blue: Return to Citadel Immediately...
Hearing the warning klaxon, her interior lights flashing blue, The Musician moved to her console. A bit fond of the older models, she had her controls set up in the center of the main control room. It made a few things more interesting, having to run around the console to get to all the buttons one needed to press, but that put the controls directly above the living heart of her TARDIS, which to her seemed only appropriate.
Reading the message from the Citadel, The Musician wondered what could have happened to cause them to recall her so soon after a mission ended. But her musing didn't interrupt her inputting the coordinates and heading back as ordered.
She did worry that being as ready to follow orders as she was might not be safe, but other than The Master, no one had ever tried to take over the Citadel before, and recalling a Time Lord to the Citadel wouldn't be wise for someone who wanted to keep control. As she continued to think, her TARDIS arrived and she plucked her flute out of the small pouch at her waist. While she would return without questions, she would see what answers she could get before she talked to The Watcher and The Counselor.
A soft, breathy note played to measure the temporal acoustics allows The Musician to 'read' the area enough to find the beginnings of a harmony. Following the lead of Time itself, she plays quietly enough that she can still hear the soft whirring of instruments on the console. Allowing the Universe to set the tempo, The Musician plays along, trying to determine if all is well here and what problem might have recalled her so soon.
