Ardia wandered a little to stop her legs from getting stiff. How very cautious this stallion was!
'There would be little to tell you that the two-legger home wasn't safe, in all my time I have never heard anything, rumour or otherwise that one of their kind had done anything bad to us.'
She smiled gently.
'You should visit there sometime, you'll be pressed with offerings of fruit. They regard Soquili very fondly.'

* duncan looks intrested in going and checking out these two-leggers himself, he beleived Ardia if she said they were safe enough, he just needed someone to show him the way, and help relax him* " maybe my sister just said that to keep me away from them, she is always worrieing about me and stuff like that, if I'm willing to go would you be willing to go with me?"

'Maybe..' Ardia kept her thoughts to herself. After all, she didnt have any idea of their family dynamic so it wasn't her place to comment. She couldn't imagine that anyone in the Village would do something malicious to a Soquili, so she could only imagine that it was some sibling rivalry thing that had made his sister say something to warn him away.
'You want to see the Village? I'll happily take you there if it will help show you there isn't a thing to be worried about.' she offered. How strange that a stallion would need an escort from a mare; but he was as she knew, younger than her.

'You're welcome,' Ardia smiled back warmly, and turned on her heels, pointing herself towards the Village. She clipped off slowly, her tail swishing away an annoying insect as she led the stallion towards the two-leggers dwellings.
As they got nearer, the smell of the main fire drifted towards them, a slightly acrid smell that always made her nose wrinkle. It seemed to be fairly quiet amongst the teepees right now, only a few of the natives were mpving around, intent on their own stuff and only one or two pairs of eyes watched their entrance.
Ardia glanced at Duncan;
'See? Nothing to be worried about..'

* Duncan looks at the treepees, he wrinkles his nose at the smell of smoke, seeing not that many two-leggers he blinks* " yeah, it is quite here and not scary at all, is most of two-leggers hiding in those caves?"

'Caves?' Ardia was non-plussed for a moment but then nodded.
'I doubt they'd be hiding, just doing their own thing. And those are called "teepees", not caves.' she gently corrected.
'And I'm glad you find it "non-scary", this is a good place to come to if you ever need shelter from the weather, or any other reason.' she suggested as they neared main Village fire. She stopped away from it, watching the flickering flames for a while, until a small figure detached itself from close by the fire and walked quietly over. Ardia glanced at the stallion to see if he would stay or bolt as the two-legger approached.
