I noticed the question floating around in the wand making class of different types of wood (trees) and their differences, etc. I was wondering if I may be able to post a Guide to each type of tree (and therefore wood) and their meanings.

sweatdrop It's probably been covered already, but I would be interested in teaching forms of "physical meditation" (ie; meditation through a daily action) or about animal magic (like incorporating your pets into spells and rituals or casting animal-related spells). If they haven't, I would do it for free, and I could start in about a week.

Well, there's a thoughtful/reflective meditation class. But, I think that's different than what you're talking about. Are you talking about a class where you teach how to meditate on certain things? And it's died out anyway, since the original teacher left and left me in charge of the class... I really don't have time to keep up with it and the guild at the same time.
You can do one or both if you want.

It was more of like how to meditate in different ways by establishing a routine, but I'd rather do the animal one.

Just thought I'd say, I'm having trouble coming on so I'm going to withdraw from teaching the herbs class. Sorry.

actually, I'm interested in teaching the Herb class. I have my own garden going, in which everything has somesort of healing attribute, although a lot can be used in cooking. Ive done lots of research, and I would love it. biggrin Since Kir-chan is not going to teach it anymore, Im more than willing to help.

Go right ahead. You can either take over in the same thread, or start a new one... and maybe send a PM to all of Kir-Chan's students letting them know about it.

Hey, I'm not sure if this is really the right thread to ask this, but.... I've noticed that one day the thread for my Wandmaking Guide is stickied, the next it's not. It seems to be fluctuating irregularly between stickied and un-stickied. Frankly, it's getting a bit annoying.... xP I was wondering why this is, and what determines in the first place whether or not a class is stickied. Thanks!

If you edit anything in the first post, it will un-sticky it. I know it's annoying... but that's why I check everytime I get on Gaia and re-sticky them.
Just any class that is still active/taught is stickied. All of the ones that the teacher no longer teaches are unstickied.

Yeah, I just noticed that, too. But it seems (from a "teacher" standpoint) that if we don't keep updating the first post, our students won't come in.
(That sounded really weird.)
Maybe there's someone you can complain to about this? I don't know. It just seems like a hassle.

I could mention it in the Captain's guild I guess...
For now, we just won't sticky any of the threads. I figure that if the class is active, then it'll still be easy to find. We only have one page of topics in here anyway... We'll see how it goes and then go from there. 3nodding
