((Hahaa xD I was wondering what all the stars were for))
Mzuza grinned. "Well, okay, then," She decided against saying something else. Perhaps someday he really would change his mind like she had predicted. She should watch out for him then, and wait for the day when she could run up to him and tell him 'I told you so'.
"'Eeeeyyy!" She let out a rather undignified squeal as instinct told her something was happening before her mind registered what he was doing. In the split second that it took her to realize that he had pounced, she started to reel back in surprise, and had just barely rocked back onto her haunches when he collided into her. It threw her off balance, backwards, and finally, it seemed, she noticed what was going on.
Oh, poo... Now why hadn't she thought of that? And even as the question entered her mind, she knew - she wasn't used to all this roughhousing. Although, she supposed, for most cubs it was just a little pouncing. Her lack of experience in play meant she didn't quite know how to respond, though she did on cubs' instinct. But instead of rolling as she hit the ground, she flailed out her paws rather spastically and in every direction, surprising even herself. Well, now what the hell was that...?

The flailing paws caught Yen Ha in the face and stomach, and being the wimp that he was, he soon backed off, staggering backwards away from her somewhat dangerous attack. Well, atleast he had managed a good pounce. He puffed out his whiskers and sat, reaching up with a paw to smooth the tuft of fur between his ears.
"Maybe I'll be a good protector after all." He jeered, sticking his tongue out at the honey-gold pridelander.
He pulled his ears towards her, grinning, he was obviously very proud of himself. "You were as easy to pounce as the mouse." Though she put up far more fight than the rodent had.

Zu scrambled to her paws in shock. Did she hurt him by accident? That was the only reason she could find for him backing off so quickly - she had only really been around other cubs that were rather merciless play-ers. "I'm sorry!" She blurted out. Then, realizing he was fine, she sat back and relaxed.
"Hmph, well you never know." She said adamantly, flat out refusing to believe that he was incapable of protecting anyone.
"But I'm a hundred times the size of that mouse!" She protested, twitching her ears. "Even a blind mouse could have- wait, no. Even a blind- Even a blind..." She frowned a moment. What was the word? "Oh! Even a blind lion could have done that!" She put heavy emphasis on the word 'lion'.

He shook his head and his ears flapped noisily around his face. "Yeah you are quite podgy." He reached out a paw in an attempt to poke her stomach. "I'd say you were atleast one housand times bigger than that mouse." He laughed and it ended in an amused little snort.
Then he tottered a few steps sideways and gave a small shrugging gesture. "But since you're bigger your brain should be too. You shoulda dodged." He lowered himself again and then darted at her, giving a small, cubbish roar as he did so.
(( Yen Ha grew to adol today, but I'd really like us to have atleast one more RP where he is a Juv. Also, maybe trying to find someone else to join their friendship group. A trio would be nice. I think I saw dragons mention interest so I might fling a PM her way. You can have your girl bop him or something and then he can run away and plot on how to get her back next time they meet xD ))

"Heeeeyy!" She stuck out her tongue and batted at his paw with her own. "Pah, if I'm a thousand times bigger than that mouse, then what are you?" She jabbed at him with the paw and reached up in an attempt to muss up the beginnings of a mane on his forehead. "Take that!"
"Hmph, well I was thinking," She told him, in an attempt to preserve dignity. Obviously, she should have dodged, but then again some things just didn't come through when you really needed them. Like instinct, she realized, almost laughing out loud at the irony. Then, acting purely on what she had truly been lacking only moments before, she took a little hop toward him and flailed out with a paw. Revenge was best served as... a surprise? It didn't sound right in her head, but she didn't pause to try to come up with the right ending to the saying.

He gave a small squeak of irritation as she made to muss up his fur and hopped sideways in an attempt to avoid the attack. Then, hearing her excuse, he raised his head to glance at her and opened a mouth to respond.
Probably something along the lines of; I don't know any girls that think. However, probably for the best, Mzuza didn't give him the chance. He saw the flailing paw, realised she was coming in for the attack and turned tail to flee.
He paused once to glance back, gave a small huff and called out, "you haven't seen the last of me, girly!" Then he narrowed his smoky-green eyes and turned away, running again. He'd get her back somehow!
