Or just buy one and just sew it better. You know. Rip out some of the shoddy seams and resew it, fix the buttons, and such. Make it worth it. D:
One thing I love about the costumes this year are the Marie Antionette ones. HOLY MOTHER OF GOD THOSE ARE SO HOT. I want it so bad! gonk
My own halloween costume is so not working out.....I don't have anything for it but the wig. I bought a really cheap one that I cut the wrong way kinda, and I just didn't like the quality of it, so I bought a $16 one, and I don't think I can use it. I hate myself. gonk

I'm invited to a Halloween party, but I dunno what to doooo emo
Maybe I'll check out Salvation Army for a fancy dress and see if I can go as a really fat Marilyn Monroe... other than that I'm not sure what I could do.
I usually don't have that much luck at the thrift store.

I don't have anywhere to go for Halloween... My Ma never let me celebrate it as a kid. Now that I'm finally not her religion, it's a little too late for me to trick-or-treat [I'm 16.] :emotear: Plus I wouldn't know what to go as. ;.;
I may go to Saw 4 on Halloween night with my friends Tannie and Alby and my lufferboi Tim. <3 :3

Ok, I'm a Christian, but I've never understood the Christians who don't celebrate Halloween.
I mean, seriously, they celebrate Easter. I'd like to see how many Christians who don't celebrate Halloween don't celebrate Easter, or Christmas.
When I was a kid I dressed up, I went trick or treating, and I went to my church's Halloween party later... Haha, my oldest church had a haunted house that my family forced me to go in, and they had a guy sitting in this special table so it looked like he was just a head, and he yelled "Boo" and I started crying and they had to drag me out. I was such a pansy.
Actually, the churches that support Halloween are the smartest because most parents, strong christians or not christian at all, will take their child to a church where there's less chance of razor blades in the candy and it's a safe enviroment... which leads to people thinking "hey, Christians don't suck."
I think Jesus wants people to be creative and take a day to get out of their box and be somebody they find exciting.
I mean, Easter and Christmas are just as much of pagan holidays, only we've stuck Christianity to it to convert people talk2hand
In other news, you are never too old to trick or treat (My friend's little sister is 14 years younger than us, so we take her, haha...just find somebody you know who has a child you can take as your excuse).
Also, I'm invited to a Halloween party, so I'm going to be searching through the thrift store and then I guess party city to see if I can find a costume.... I wish I had bought the sailor girl outfit I really wanted, now it's gone gonk emo

GRRR since my hair was butched i cant pull off the "clark kent pulling into superman" costume. so i was gonna be Bob Ross (only no one knows who bob ross is....so it defeats the concept of me being him.
then i find out my work (the school) wont let ANYONE (staff or students) dress up for halloween or watch halloween movies (which kills the "Charlie Brown and the Great Pumpkin/Nightmare Before Christmas" marathon one teacher and i were going to do tommorrow.)
its like south california has effectively killed Halloween all because of these freakin fires. barely anyones house is decked out, no one is really halloween shopping, everyone im over heard doesnt want to take their kid out because they are lazy or are afraid of rapists/molesters/kidnappers or poisoned candy/razorblades. (yet ive yet to see even an attempted rape/kidnap even reported in the area round halloween in over 5 years and have NEVER had poisoned candy or razorblades ever found in my candy.)
these day and ages suck for just having plain old fun of going door to door. what the hell happened for our generation to get so shafted on holidays?

Me sorry ;-;
I think I've reached a height where if I tried to go trick-or-treating, I'd be arrested for trespassing. =/
Shame really, cuz I'm getting an awesome costume together.

And I'm headed out to a club in town with what seems like the entirety of my uni biggrin Should be fun ^_^

As in the white guy with the afro that used to do nature painting on PBS? Now THATS freaking original. I love it. Overprotective p***y parents killed halloween. Seriously. Crime rates have relatievly been lower than they EVER have been, but idiots with kids buy into media hysteria. The constant supevision, the monitoring of candies, everything. Seriously, how many sick assholes out there could possibly exist that would put razors in apples? Though I didn't plan anything though, I thought i'd be working so I've got nothing going on. Though I did find an awesome costume for me to use next year. I'm going to order an Organization XIII outfit and a keyblade. ninja

I bet you could still pull the look off, Pawn. Just not as awesome as before, mehbeh sweatdrop
Also, the year I got a candied apple for Halloween was one of the most awesome years. There were no razor blades biggrin
But the best year was when my friends and I went around when almost nobody else was, and at 9 we went to this one last house and when we went in they were like "WE HAVE A BOX OF GOODIES AS BIG AS Y'ALL ARE, AND WE DON'T NEED THEM! TAKE WHAT YOU LIKE! HAVE SOME SODA!"

You're never too old for Halloween. I dressed up as a younger Fidel Castro for class/work today.
For some reason, I have this strange urge to do something evil, and then claim diplomatic immunity.

This are halloween. It be awesome.
I had a great time, even though I didn't collect any candy. =o
I gave out candy this night. I got fully decked out in my Blind Dead costume, got out a chair, and just sat down by the candy bowl, like a dumb old prop. I gave at least three groups a good scare. >3
Later in the evening, when there were some older kids out, I passed out thematically appropriate DVDs along with the handfuls of candy. Twas good fun. ^.^
