Relaxed as she was, Amary allowed herself the occassional pleased purr at Zevach's continued ministrations, shifting from time to time to allow him better access to her neck and shoulder. Fond as she was of actual intimacy, those occurances when she discovered a stallion who didn't necessarily want to cut and run afterwards were nice, especially if that stallion possessed things of interest beyond just his body. In Zevach's case, Amary would be the first to admit that he was a pleasant companion, as her continued presence indicated.

Hearing other viewpoints was always something of interest to the mare, even when the other person felt compelled to try and force acceptance of their viewpoints onto other people. Granted, Amary didn't like it when people tried to order her around, but that people could be so self-righteous itself amused her. She herself didn't necessarily agree with Zevach and his views on fighting, but that didn't mean she couldn't be interested.

Shifting again, Amary pillowed her head comfortably against the curve of Zevach's neck, nodding slightly in understanding of his story. "It sounds complex; I can understand why your family would be sad not too see you that much, on the one hand, but on the other, it's important that you go out and live your life the way you see fit. I've never even met my half-sister after all, and rarely see my oldest half-brother; I think I've only met him three or four times in my entire life. But they wander, I wander, my Mum wanders and my Papa wanders so theoretically it's only a matter of time before at least one of us runs into another. The only one who stays put is my own whole brother Leon, and that's just because he's shy." Which was a major bummer, as Amary saw it. Leon was such a sweetheart, the one Soquili she was closest to than all others, the only one she would tell everything to; it pained her to see him living in exile, even if it was self-imposed. One of these days she'd have to talk one of her mare friends into meeting Leon...

But now she was getting distracted! Giggling a bit at her own ramblings, she looked back up at Zevach with a sheepish grin. "Sorry, got carried away with my musings. So, back on topic. You're an independant stallion, we've got that; do you have a lot of contact with your trainer, then? I only ask because you seemed to be totally alone tonight...or at least I hope you were!" The idea of being spied on wasn't THAT unsettling, as evidenced by the fact that she was laughing as she said it, but having thought about it she was actually honestly curious. "Or is this some of your time off?"

At the stallion's nudge Amary finally broke off, ending her stream of questions as she looked out over the water with a pleased smile. "So we shall; time flies when you're having fun though, right?"

"Seems a lot like my own family..." Zevach trailed off, leanding his head atop of hers as his eyes drifted over the horizon. Time did fly, thus 'fun' phenomenon was certianly something to explore; for it wasn't quite like sparring, nor was it something you could fully enjoy by yourself. "My father was born to wander....its in his blood; or so mother says. I myself have my own goals, so i'm gone.....my sister is often off in her own world.....my idiot of a brother is all she has at home. They often go places, yet rumors have it that he's been off too. Which leave her alone."

Zevach knew deep down that she probably shouldn't be alone....yet was that not his father's job?

Yet he did seem interested in what Amary had to say. "Half siblings? Your parents never stayed together?" He inquired, finding it odd to hear such....as usually if one had foals one would assume the parents would stick together? Yet....things can happen out of lust, rather than love....like erlier tonight had shown....but wait....

"Pregnant...." He looked to Amary, giving her a bit of an uneasy eye....he may be great and wanted to be well known and a legend someday; he Zevach was not ready for foals. He was far too young, and could learn from his parents mistake as now that he was older he could see that they were not that much older than he himself. "That wont happen to you....right?" He breathed, feeling a bit paniced for once in his life.

Yet desite this, he kept on with the conversation. "Yeah.....I came across him when I was a colt, and we've been training since then. I see him nearly every moon, yet sometimes he's not around or I know not to come. He does wander a lot, yet I don't expect he'd pop up here just to make sure I was on guard... At least I hope not. "You could say that...even the strongest of bodies need a break, or else you'll lose in times of an ambush. One must always be prepared...." he recited the words of his mentor proudly, knowing them off by heart.

His head turned to the side as the sunbeams began to peek over the ocean, ignighting the sea in a glittering golden hue. The skies burned red, while Zevach, nestled his head into her neck to hide his eyes from the brightness of it all. "You'd think after all the sunrises, your eyes would get used to the brightness." He muttered a bit bitterly, yet all in all the ploy to touch her again had been an overall sucsess in his books.

Oh now sneeky he was.

As the child of a 'non-traditional' couple, Amary had always been fascinated by the lifestyles of those who, in her father's words, chose to 'commit monogamy'. The very idea seemed foreign to Amary just as it did to her parents, and listening to Zevach speak of his own parents she couldn't help be see negatives. It must be very hard on Cosette, after all, to have committed herself to one stallion and one stallion alone only to have him off wandering; if they were together, then they ought to STAY together, otherwise what were they going to do if they got needy? Hunt each other down?

Meh. She tried not to judge, but it just sounded like a very boring and lonely life, waiting all the time for one's lover to come home without anyone to take their place in the meantime!

That in mind, it was almost a perfect segway into her own family tale, his question and seeming surprise at the idea of half-siblings making her giggle. "What? Of course my parents are still together, silly, they get together all the time! That's how me and my brother Leon came to be born, after all; our half-siblings are older than us, but I THINK that Mum and Papa have been sleeping together since before those three were conceived."

Perhaps it was strange for Zevach, hearing a mare he'd known for such a little time going on about personal affairs like this, but in Amary's family openness was key. You only hid things you were ashamed of, and why would she or anyone in her family be ashamed of their lifestyle when they liked it so much and it didn't hurt anyone? Besides, she was very proud of her parents and what they'd managed to become, something outside of the traditional stereotype. "But if you mean 'together' in that they are only sleeping with each other, then no. My Mum and Papa like variety way too much to limit themselves to just each other, no matter how much they like each other."

Leaving Zevach to disgest THAT interesting little bit of information, Amary turned to give the stallion an amused grin as he suddenly veered off into panic territory with his (somewhat late) worries about pregnancy. Silly stallion. Giggling, she nosed at the underside of his jaw, her giggles vibrating against the skin there as she did so. "You're such a typical stallion, Zevach, having your fun and THEN worrying about the consequences. How'm I supposed to know now anyway even if I was, hrm? I'm not psychic." She didn't seem that alarmed by the prospect, though, and continued on at the same easy pace. "My Papa has only gotten two mares pregnant his whole life, and Mama only got pregnant once, and neither of them are what you could called restrained; so I think that it's a pretty good chance I'm hard to get that way myself, though I promise if I wind up having your babies I'll let you know."

Such a typical Amary move, to blithely talk about such prospects! But hearing more about what he did was even more entertaining, so she was willing to move along with the changing conversation. Even though she thought it sounded like a MOST unfun way to love, personally, it was something he obviously liked a lot. "Well, it sounds like a whole lot of work too me, but it's nice you have something that you can be that committed to, you know? Though I'm very glad that you were willing to take time out of your busy schedule to spend time with me..."

Smiling slyly as she spoke, Amary rubbed her hind leg against one of Zevach's flicking her tail agains him just in case he was confused as to exactly what she meant. An experienced user of ploys like the old 'face bury' herself, she would have suspected ulterior motives of Zevach's nuzzle even if he had none, not that she minded. "Dealing with all that brightness must be hard, after all."

"So....they're not, well, consistant?"

Zevach couldn't quite find the right word for it, yet it was a bit of a suprise to hear that Amary's parents were not ones for monogamy. He supposed the idea wasn't really taboo, since wasn't everyone allowed to live their own lives how they pleased? It was what Zevach wanted, to be allowed and respected to follow his own path; so he wouldn't dare try to preach on that subject. However, he couldn't quite relate...since his parents had been in essence soulmates; that whole attraction setting in quickly before developing into something more.

He'd be really suprised if they ever broke up.

None the less, he put on a bit of a smile and nodded....perhaps that lifestyle wasn't for everyone; yet having not seen nor experienced it; Zevach wasn't sure if it would be to his taste or not.

"Well....variety is the spice of life....or....so i've heard others say." He offered, yet did infact store that timbit to dwell on a bit later since an issue about his previous statement left him a bit confused. He frowned a bit, for he knew he was not a typical stallion in his opinion and wasn't completely in it for the sensation and pleasure. Or was he...? No. If he got anything out of his father in ideals; was if life throws something your way you better damn well catch it and deal with it. He didn't feel like starting up a retort with what she had to say and nodded while he looked away. "Thats all I wanted to hear." He spoke, one thing he had heard of was Soquili who never knew they even had children...much like Ezriel's father not even aware of his kids existance untill he found Korrine and the foals. Although he can't say he'd be like Reaper and want to kill them....he would rather know and be a part of their life.

Yet enough of that, he was too busy with his training to even start pondering those ideas!

Smirking as he remained nestled in her hair, his nose tilted up as he ran his cheek along her neck to her jawline. Drawing back from her as his eyes drew in her body in a slight glow from the ruby hues of the sunrise....she looked amazingly beautiful. "I do....its nice to a degree till you realize there is more out there than just that. Which is dawning on me now...that i'd always take time off for the likes of you." Nudging her cheek gently, "The sun's beautiful in its brightness.....even though if you stare too much you'll go blind." He pursed his lips before closing his eyes a moment and chuckling. "Remind me not to stare at you either."

None the less, while the morning sun rose higher and higher into the skies he knew the day would have to go on. No matter how much he wanted to stay like this untill the moon rose once more; the nagging matter of his mother drew into his mind....she was ill....and as much as Zevach found himself enjoying Amary's company more and more in a startling rate; his mother was his mother.

"What are your plans today...Amary?" He inquired, curious if she was even doing anything at all.

"Well, they're consistant enough to have had my brother and me, so I'd say that's consistant enough." Still, Amary had an idea of what he meant, fun as it was to tease him. Those that had grown up dealing with monogamous families didn't always understand open relationships like her parents', just like she herself didn't understand how Soquili could do that to themselves. Ah well, to each their own.

Besides, even if Zevach didn't understand how things worked for her parents, he was good enough at obliging how things worked for her. Giggling at both his continued nuzzles and nudges as well as his cute words, she returned the attention more than willingly, her tone playful as she comented, "well, I'm tickled that you're willing to take that much time out of your busy schedule just for li'l old me, Zevach, and I promise that if my radiant glow gets to be too much for you I'll tone it down some. Or at least try to." However that would be accomplished.

That sort of teasing thought in mind, Amary almost missed Zevach's last question. However, she couldn't say that she was surprised to hear it. After all, much as she loved to live in the moment, the moment always ended; undoubtably Zevach had things to do, and she could understand that.

"Mmm...I'm not sure yet. I thought I might go up and lounge around my favorite hot spring for a while, or maybe go and see my Papa, or perhaps go for a nice flight. I think I'll just play it by ear, same as I always do." Stretching a bit with a satisfied purr, she finally rose to her feet, spreading her wings and tossing her curls as she looked out over thr water towards the sunrise. It really did look lovely...

Grinning, she pivoted and beamed down at the stallion in the sand. "I suppose that you've got plans for the day, hrm? Training and all that?"

"Excellent. I'll hold you to that then, Amary." Zevach grinned, watching as the mare stood and stretched out a bit before slowly pulling himself back onto his own legs. Buckling slightly at the knees he drew his flank back as he could feel his spine stretch and elongate; a few pops ringing out as he stood back upright.

"Hotsprings..?"

He echoed, never having been to one himself. He'd heard of them, yet never really had the time to go out and find one...things had been so hectic moving as a colt and then from all the events that folded; he really didn't have a lot of relaxing time on his hooves. He'd be lying if he didn't feel that he wanted to accompany her...he didn't know when he'd stop following the mare who had captured his curiosity so quickly. None the less, he was sure he could find her again; like his father he was an adept tracker, and proud of it.

None the less, all good things had to come to an end sometime. Glancing to his hooves he let out a bit of a sigh and nodded.

"Yeah, somewhat. If I run into Ezriel then i'll probably get another lesson; yet i'm more concerned about my mother. Marius told me she's ill....so I need to go find out what's up with that." He shrugged, turning to look to her once again. "Yet if I finish early....perhaps i'll try and find you near the hotsprings? Or catch up to you wherever you go...?" He offered, would she want to see him again? Or would she vanish completely?

....he wanted to see her again; most definately.

As Zevach rose to his feet, Amary watched him with unabashed pleasure, the curve of his spine and the extension of his limbs highlighting the muscular, athletic form that she was so very fond of. He was a gorgeous stallion, alright, every inch of him.

But, banishing those thought (at least temporarily) from her mind, she greeted his surprised comment with a laugh. "Yes, hotsprings! On the mountains, desert side, there's a region with a lot of underground activity, and the area is dotted with numerous springs of varying degrees of warmth. I like mine just on this side of hot, personally, more like warm and soothing. I think you'd enjoy them, honestly, they're so nice and relaxing and very private..." Drawling out the last bit, Amary walked up to Zevach, smiling coyly and tracing a random shape on his chest with a wing as she approached. "For those that like having space to themselves. I'd love to show you my favorites, the next time we meet, if you're so interested."

As she spoke, the mare stepped forward and nuzzled at his jaw, leaning to whisper, "Because, if such a meeting were possible, I myself WOULD be interested."

Then she was stepping back, her usual bright and energetic demeanor in place. "You go and see your mother; if she's anything like MY mother, then seeing you will make her feel right as rain in no time. Who knows, maybe even better!"

Still smiling, Amary took a few steps up the sandy hillside, her curls blowing in the early morning breeze as she guaged the strength and direction of the wind. It was a great day to be airborne, it seemed...

Glancing back over her shoulder, Amary gave the stallion one last grin. "If you DO happen to be available and interested, I'll be near the river just north of where the two combine into one. If we meet up, I'll take you to the springs; if you can't, then perhaps I'll see you some other time. Stay sexy, Zevach!"

With that, Amary tossed back her mane and flipped wide her wings, the feathers ruffling slightly in the breeze as she extended. Then, with a rapid dash forward she had built up speed and launched herself into the air, a bright form against the equally bright sky.

Yes, it had been a wonderful night.

Upon hearing the notion of the hotsprings, Zevach was starting to like this idea more and more. Not to mention in the company of Amary, well....he'd need to get everything he could think of done since he knew once he got into the warm springs he'd never want to leave. Completely absorbed once she neared and began drawing those provacative shapes on his chest, the poor stallion nearly missed every word she said while his mind drifted off in a daze. Snapping back to earth soon after though, he smirked....Zevach could do Private. Most definately.

"Its a date then..." He winked, "I believe i've become quite, how do you say.....fascinatingly interested in you."

Nodding and smiling at the thought of his mother, Zevach watched as the mare took a step back....knowing she'd have to go; but they'd meet again - he'd make sure of it. "Thank you, Amary. We'll get there sooner or later - I promise." He fired a wink back at her, feeling no need to say goodbye since they'd meet again. Instead, he let himself fondly watch as the mare took off into the air; soaring gracefully into the skies and out of sight.

Shaking his head and grinning ear to ear like a daft fool, The teal stallion turned and began to make his way back into the forest in the direction of home. He had a lot to dwell about, his parents, siblings...Ezriel....and now Amary; the Mare which managed to get under his tough layers and actually....he'd never felt more alive.

All in all, Zevach couldn't wait till he met up with the magenta mare again.
