Horray! He had accepted being her friend, now she beamed even more as her horn lit up a little brighter. Fallen stars. The two words repeated over and over in her mind like a scattered array of shining diamonds high above.
Thinking she smiled gazing at him, "Do you think I'll be a pretty adult Themis?" She giggled with a flickering spiral wondering what she'd look like. Would it be daddy's hair; long and flowing or mommy's hair that had a bit of curl yet was a bit shorter. She had stared many times in the rivers and lakes noticing she had her daddy's hair.
"I bet you'll be big and strong too with really big wings" she giggled watching him with another smile. Wow big adults soon, maybe they could race when they were older under the stars.

He stared at her, he had a new friend, one who bring him luck by the way. He was really happy right now.
"You're already really pretty Cassiopeia, like a shiny night sky, you're exactly what i like the most." he was speaking at the night sky and the stars he liked so much.
He laughed, trying to imagine what he will looked like. For the moment he got everything from his father but on the contrary, except for the wings which were his mummy's. "I hope i will be big, like this i will be able to protect you and bring you the star i promise to you" he winked.

((If you want to RP them older when can finish this one up... let me know))
Big like his daddy. Oh wouldn't that be really nice. Deep inside she wished she'd be pretty like her momma and have a big horn. Now she wondered if her momma's lit up too. What if it was only Cassi that had that special ability? The thought made her giggle as the light flickered.
"I'll remember that promise. That when we get bigger you'll find me a star," tossing her head she pranced around giggling. They were so different for he was light and she was dark. Is that what the sky looked like? Was it light in places and dark in others? So far up it seemed, so high.
"Well when I'm big I can protect you too. I think that's what horns are for."
Musing she sat on her rump and looked up at him.
So bright like a star. I hope we'll get to play when we're adults too.

Thémis realised he flew finally, amusing he decided to fly arround the young mare.
"A promise is a promise, i don't know how i will do but i will try my best for you Cassiopeia" She was his star already, his lucky star, she was everything he liked in the sky and in the night. The contrary of him actually.
"It's the stallion who must protect" then he realised he was maybe a little rude "But i will be happy if you use your horn to protect me, even if i think you will be able to use it better than to fight."
His mind was so full he didn't realise the night was almost finished. He needed to go home. It will be hard to say bye now.

Cassiopeia giggled that he was flying all the more as her horn lit up with her laughter. But, with laughter comes a moment of sadness knowing they'd part ways for daylight was sneaking up upon Twilight quite fast.
"I know you will Cause a promise made can't be broken. Mama told me that and I believe it too. And even if you try your best," she nodded with a soft smile, "You know you tried, and well keep your promise, right? So everything is okay." Cassi tilted her head at him still smiling. Every time the light from her horn got brighter, so did her eyes and necklace. Shining on their own like precious little stars.
"Cassi... Cassi... Where are you?" Came the voice of a mare over the hillside.
The little unicorn's eyes dimmed a bit hearing her mother's call. The night always went too fast. Frowning she scoffed a hoof on a nearby rock, "Guess I should go since mama's calling me. Promise me we'll play again Themis. Promise me you'll come back when your older." She turned her head now looking towards her mother's approaching direction. "And I'll protect you too. Let them bad things come." she smiled confidently.
"Cassi?... Oh there you are. Come sweetie daylight is rising."
Cassi's eyes lowered but they looked at Themis with urgency. "You're my lucky star too. Maybe I'll find a fallen star for you as well."
She was biding time, but mommy may not like that she was staying up till sunrise.

Thémis heard the soft voice coming near to them, it was Cassiopeia's mother apparently. He knew it's time, his own mother was surely waiting for him too.
"I promis Cassiopeia, i promise i will be back when i grow up and we will play again."
He started to go too, looking a last time as the shiny girly who become his friend.

Cassi nodded and bowed her head towards the colt before running up to her mother. Turning one last time she watched Themis go the opposite way toward his home. Smiling she thought of her friend and remembered they'd have to meet back up again. He was going to get her a pretty star like he promised. Though even if he promised but couldn't deliver. she'd never hold that against him either.
"Ready Mama," she nodded looking into the shining alicorn's eyes. When she was older she wouldn't have to go home so early. For that she couldn't wait.
Andromeda nodded watching the colt disappear over the ridge. Already her little girl was making new friends and stepping out in the world. My how time flies. Then with Cassi by her side the galloped their own way back home as the moon hung heavily in the black canvassed sky showered with a thousand lights.
