schmut-lovee BunnyCupCakes I can see faces easily of any characters from Twilight.I never had a problem with it either in the first place.
Other than that,I wonder if it's the lack of detail Stephenie misses if you can't see their face...eh? O.o;;; [her writing is a bit dry sometimes] Or is it totally different & depends on 'that' person? But whatever she lacks,I fill in. It's pretty fun heart I know you say it might be Ms. Meyer's lack of detail..but I don't really think it's that. Like yeah, she does say - about Edward - that he's Godlike and beautiful and all that. And that's practically the most you'll get from her. She does say he has "liquid-gold eyes" or something and that all of his features are straight and angular. But I just can't see it! If it's someone who is described as "godlike" and "incredibly beautiful" I will never imagine how their face looks like. I think it's because I keep thinking that they're too beautiful for my imagination to ever imagine or something..
But that's confusing me even more because I can't imagine Bella's face. But that's probably because the book is written in her perspective and when I read it, I tend to imagine being in her shoes. But then again, I can't imagine Jacob's face either....
GRRR ! How annoying. ==" Oh.Ok :]
Well,at first I used my imagination but when there were news about a Twilight movie,seeing the actors somewhat morphed my views of the characters [sometimes I see Gaspard Ulliel as Edward >.< ] So basically I can see them alittle more clearly but I guess it depends on different people.But I really think Meyer's writing really needs more description no offense.Other than that,I think she didn't want the readers to be too limited in their imagination.
Since godlike and beautiful are such vague words,everyone has a different view of them on a person 3nodding

Since godlike and beautiful are such vague words,everyone has a different view of them on a person 3nodding Well actually, when I found out there was a japanese version with illustrations, and the Twilight movie, I started looking at all the pictures and then the Edward I imagined based on Ms. Meyer's description began to fade and - NO OFFENSE - the Edward I began to imagine became....uglier. DD: But still beautiful. But it was like, Gaspard Ulliel, Henry Cavill and the japanese version of Edward all put together, and seriously..that is just...*shivers* Too much. So what I did is stopped looking at all the Edward pictures and MY version of "godlike" Edward came back. =) That's actually how I came up with this topic. x)

That might have a reason. I think because it's written in Bella's perspective. And also Ms. Meyer said on her website that she actually tried to put as little detail as possible of Bella's face so that it would be easier for the reader to step into her shoes.

I can kind of see his face, but it's kind of fuzzy. Hard to picture.

I can see a face sometimes, other times not. Though I see flashes of Henry Cavill or Gaspard Ulliel sometimes. Haha. But yeah. Except, his outfits are never as they're described in the books, and his hair's darker. Yeah. Hmm. Either way, he's still adorable <3

KiraLight I always have their body, hair, clothes and stuff in my head but they never have faces It's the same for me. I never see the faces of characters when i read books. Except maybe on random occasions when i can picture their exact expressions for that particular situation, and even then it isn't really their complete face.
