Ku'i looked at her brother for a split second, in a bit of concern for his question and a little bit of his current situation. Her eyebrow raised as well before turning her attention to the bird. Had he gotten a few too many leaves in the brain? "Well ... its obviously a bird, a very snooty bird too." The black cub huffed a little, scrunching her nose at the little avian creature over its comments.
She wasn't ignorant even though she wasn't totally sure what that meant, and sure.. she did tend to run into places without thinking but usually no one was around their little den area so... no one really cared or got hurt or anything. "And how would yooou know?" Came the brilliant come back, if one could really call it that.

(sorry I'm so late. ;; )
Kimbi's eyes darted around, trying to catch this 'bird' that was obviously making fun of the two of them. Well....well....he didn't like being made fun of! His eyes finally caught sight of the bird, and he scrambled backwards, towards the side of his sister so the two of them could face the little moody bird together.
"Y-yeah!" Kimbi said, echoing her sister's remark, since he himself really had no idea what else to add onto what Ku'i had said. He certainly wasn't the sharpest of the sibilings.
Kenna glared at the winged black cub, not quite liking the attitude that she was getting back. Oh, so she wanted a little war of words, did she? That was alright, she would definately participate. "Why yes, if it wasn't for you two, I would still be having quite the nap, by my self, nestled under that pile of leaves. Quite warm, it can get under there."
The bird stuck another wing out, followed by a leg on the same side, giving her feathers a bit of a pull, here and there, just to make sure that everything was in order. It wouldn't do any good to try and be intimidating if her feathers were all in a mess. At least she didn't have any bits of leaves stuck in her.

Well .. that kind of changed the situation, didn't it. Ku'i's defensive front faltered, hearing how the two cubs had disturbed the bird, and she couldn't help but frown and feel the least bit guilty over the whole thing. The black cub took a step back, physically and mentally over the situation and took a long look at her brother before looking at the avian once again.
"... I'm sorry we disturbed you...." she began again after a moment of silence, "... but you didn't have to be so mean about it, because we didn't mean it... we were just having fun and all ~" Ku'i tried to explain, still with guilt but with that returned tone to try and justify their actions.

Kimbi bounced up, peering his head around Ku'i, still somewhat using her as a shield. He couldn't help but stick out a tongue at the bird, feeling that the more that they were talking, the meaner that the silly bird got. And though he was normally quite timid, he was getting a bit frusterated at the bird. Though, he didn't voice his irritations...yet.
The little african grey snorted at the cub. Well...as best a bird could. It sounded more like a huff/pout than anything else. "Well, fine! Little winged lions, always thinking that they're better than everything."
She huffed again, shooting another glare at the pair of cubs, before fluffing up her feathers, spreading out her wings, and hoping up into the air, flapping her wings to go find another place to stay. Perhaps back at 'home', though she wasn't exactly sure where that home was now.
Kimbilio blinked at where the parrot was, wondering just where it had disappeared to with the moments it took to recover himself from his little stint of tonuge-poking.

She didn't even get a chance to retort, so all Ku'i could do was 'humph' as she watched the grey bird ascend into the air and away. Her own black feathers ruffled a little more out of displeasure from the whole situation.
"She still didn't have to be so mean.. and I said I was sorry," The black cub pouted and then turned her head to the side as best she could to get a glimpse of her cowering brother. "Come on Kimbi ~ le's go back to mama, she's proba'ly worried about us by now ~"
Ku'i sighed, taking a step and then looked back again to make sure Kimbi was following.

Kimbi stared up at the bird, still a bit confused on what had happened. He was, though, sure that he was proud of his sister. She was so tough and brave~!
"Okay!" he replied, scrambling to catch up to his sister, accidentally bumping into her in his hurry to catch up to her. He was sure that their mother was probably worried about them as well, and if they found her before she found them, then maybe they wouldn't be in any sort of trouble at all!
