Well, for one, Xianthe didn't seem sure about who was really second in charge. And besides, Xanul wanted to meet his Great Uncle Xigbar. He was confident the other Nobody could tell him more stories about his father as well. "Well, okay!" He assured her with a grin. "You can come and see my daddy too?"

...If Xianthe wanted to see Xigbar, she might as well see Saix too, right? Well, it made sense in the kit's head.

Xianthe really didn't seem to be close to the Organization anyway. But still, she knew about his daddy, and he was content with this information for now. But one day, he would find the other members and bug them for more information. He just had to know.

"Cookies?" His ears perked up. "Aunt Ginny makes the best! And gramma is an awesome cook!" Then he frowned. "Anyways, there is an Organization XIII cookie recipe? Daddy never mentioned it. He should let us try some." Ah, more bugging for Saix the next time they would visit.

"Cooooll." Xanul grinned. "So this...Larxene was the only girl? Besides you, that is." He added hastily, not wanting to seem rude. "Daddy mentioned her before. He said if I wanted to find out more of the Organization, I could ask anyone except her. I wonder why though..."

"Mommy never mentions much about daddy." Tails drooped. "They seem to be...a little distant from each other, I mean, we live in the Realm, he lives in the Mountain with Aunt Kitsumi and Uncle Edge and the others. I don't understand..."

He peered up at her. "You don't know what a berserker is?"

In her defense, Xianthe, or, uh, Anixthe, as she supposedly was back before things went down, was the last to join, so, well...

Well...

Well, she knew from a technical standpoint that Xigbar was supposed to be second in command, due to being number II, but, seeing as from her viewpoint, as well as things she had heard from others, Saix seemed to be in on more things than the Freeshooter, it was hard to tell, really, as to how the way things were supposed to work around The World That Never Was.

"See...your daddy?" she faltered, remembering that Tuuli also had been attempting to coerce her into meeting up with Saix, "Um...why?"

Xianthe honestly didn't want to see Saix, really, or any of the lesser tolerant Organization members, for that matter, for personal reasons, some fairly obvious, and, so, eagerly jumped onto the change of subject, even if it was all a lie.

"Of course there is," Xianthe declared, puffing up proudly, "better than those Girl Scout cookies, too! And that's probably because your daddy isn't any fun, and thus, never took part in any of the bake-offs that occurred."

At the mention of girls in the Organization, a dark colored ear twitched lightly, if only out of habit than reaction, and the lavender-haired Nobody sat back on her tails, idly twirling a strand of hair around her finger. "I think so, yeah," she said, nodding, though something nagged at her about there being one other female, not that she remembered such a thing occurring in her world; another reality, perhaps? Not that, in either of her former lives, remembering things from other times was part of her abilities; no, Luxord was the one who was all about time (and winning games). She must have simply been remembering her own introduction into the Organization.

"Larxene is mean. Really mean," Xianthe explained, "She might seem like she wants to be your friend at first, but she's got her own little idea of how to play games." The Nobody glanced at her left shoulder, wondering if, under her fur, the scar was still visible in this form. "She's not nice at all, and her kunai hurt, though I dunno if it's better than being shocked, because I at least avoided being zapped."

Ah, family. What Xianthe wouldn't give to be back in Halloween Town with the Kanu; hell, she'd even tolerate her siblings this time around. Still, as cats weren't as social creatures as dogs, the girl knew something or another about distance, and, thus, chose to toss in her own two cents.

"It's like this," she said, sitting up straight, "Saix isn't the lovey-dovey emotional type; it's all about getting the job done, and getting it done right. Family, like, isn't really something he seems to be interested in, Though Tuuli seems to think he's done some babysitting for her at one point. Anyways..."

She shrugged. "Well, I'm not expecting any Lifetime movie moments, anyways. Just be glad you get to see him? He, uh, acknowledges you're his, right, anyways?"

"And a berserker is...I don't know the definition," Xianthe said, "Shreya'd know, if you really wanna ask a third party; she's weird like that, with her 'observing' and 'studying' stuff."

Xanul tilted his head to a side with a frown. "Well, you wanted to see Uncle Xigbar. Doesn't that mean you want to see the others as well? Besides, it would be easier finding Daddy." The kit was unsure of where Xigbar lived, and Ayako didn't exactly know either.

"But he is the second in command." The kit objected, curling his dark tails around himself. "So why wouldn't he participate, or even oversee the bake-off?"

Xanul frowned. Well, that explained why Saix didn't want him to see Larxene! His daddy was worried that Larxene would hurt him in some way! Tails wagged happily. It didn't occur to him that Saix, even though he was unbothered to tell Xanul about the Organization, didn't want his kid to hear a biased account of how he was like in the Organization. Or something like that.

"He isn't used to it yet." Xanul sighed. "I think that's why mommy doesn't seem to be very happy. And of course!" Well, even if Saix didn't, Xanul would still see him as his daddy. After all, without Saix, there would be no him, right?

Really. He would have to bug Saix for more information.

"It's like this," Xianthe began, frowning, "A lot of the Organization didn't like me, cause, of, well, various reasons. Larxene and Vexen were kinda the ones that took it a bit further than scoldin' and stuff, though sharing is caring- at least Roxas and that blonde witch girl had problems, too."

"So, uh, even if they don't remember a Xianthe or Anixthe or whatever..."

The Nobody scowled, and sighed, giving Xanul a sideways glance. "If I do this just once, will you leave me alone about seeing Saix after that?"

"And he didn't oversee the bake-offs because...because he was on a diet, that's why," the Nobody answered, pleased with her ability to come up with tall tales such as this, "Wanted to watch his figure and all, you know."

"So...uh...do you need to have your mom sign any release forms or stuff before we head out to see Shreya?"

"Then why do you want to see Uncle Xigbar?" His brows furrowed in confusion. If she wanted to avoid them, she would avoid all thirteen of them right? Since she said they didn't like her and all.

The kit laughed. "I don't think Daddy's concerned about getting fat." Saix was mostly disinterested and grumpy about everything. "Anyway, he wasn't the one pregnant." Ayako had grumbled a bit about her figure, joking that it was their fault.

Xanul shook his head. "It should be fine, as long as I head home after dark. Let's go then!" The kit got up, and wagged his tails happily.

Not necessarily all thirteen, mind you; just the ones that had shown that her feelings towards them were quite mutual. Of course, Xianthe still secretly was quite jealous of Roxas and Axel for being able to get away with leaving (and not turning into Dusks), but on the outside, she was simply a spiteful tsundere loli who, er...

Well, the best way to explain it was that Xianthe wasn't always being truthful about her 'feelings' towards the others, or the Organization in general. Or something along those lines, really.

"'Cause I have questions. And because Tuuli doesn't know him," she explained, thinking about how Tuuli had accused the illusionist some time ago of being an evil witch working on conjunction with Saix, the evil king. Granted, to an outsider to this, like Xanul was, her words made no sense, but still- anything to avoid further fueling a kit's imagination, especially if it also meant getting out of having to face the music for all the lies she had been feeding his kid, even if Saix apparently didn't give two shakes of a rat's behind for his offspring.

"Ah, but it's not a matter of being fat, or pregnant," Xianthe pointed out, shaking her head slowly, "Public figures have an image to maintain, after all; can't be seen gorging oneself on cookies, and stuff. And just think of what people would think or say if Saix started packing on the pounds; not really as if the Organization had a gym. Well...Lexaeus had a gym in his room, I think, but uh..."

Shoot, she was getting a bit too carried away here, almost like Tuuli did, nine times out of ten. Realizing that if she continued, she'd run out of stories, and would probably be in even hotter water if she ever encountered Saix, the Nobody shrugged.

"No permission slips or anything? Good, good," the girl replied, and, holding out a paw, attempted to create a portal of her own, though teleportation was one of those skills she had never gotten right.

"Who's Tuuli?" Xanul asked, befuddled by this all. And she had questions? What in the world was wrong with asking his daddy then?

Well, Saix wouldn't be exactly happy if, or when Xanul pranced up to him and bombarded him with questions about the cookie recipes, or about his figure. What's more, Xelon and Swax would probably join him, and annoy him to no end. And it wasn't like Ayako would stop them.

Xanul blinked as Xianthe waved her paw. "What are you doing?" Xanul could create portals, but still, he didn't know he could.
PostPosted: Wed Oct 03, 2007 8:42 pm

Which, of course, was exactly why Xianthe wanted to avoid Saix as much as possible. Heck, she'd willingly imprison herself within Tuuli's makeshift 'dungeon' if it meant avoiding the Luna Diviner.

"You'll see who she is when we get there," Xianthe informed Xanul, figuring that the nosy perma-kit would more than likely still be around, provided she hadn't chased off Sunday again, anyways. The Nobody still couldn't understand how a grown adult was afraid of a tiny little kitsu like Tuuli.

Finally, a portal was formed, albeit kit-sized, and the illusionist glanced towards Xanul. "That's what I'm doing," she told him, and frowned; Xanul could fit through the thing easily, yes, but it was going to be a bit of a squeeze to get through herself.

Still, she was quite content one had formed in the first place, though prior experience would leave her to hope that they were transported back home, rather than somewhere else.

"After you."

Eyes widened as the portal was created. "Whoa." Xanul whispered and scrambled close to stare at the dark swirling mass. "How did you do that? It looks like Bob, only that Bob is bigger!" So Xianthe had a pet too? Cool!

He glanced at the illusionist for a moment then looked into the portal again. "Okayyy." The kit leapt in the portal.

This was getting freaky. Xanul glanced around the 'tunnel' in bewilderment. He had seen this before...when Bob brought him to where his Dad was...

"Um..."

She made a face as she tried to come up with a decent explanation, never fully briefed on the subject herself, to her memory. "It's...all Nobodies can kinda create those things, I think," the girl said, "Something about corridors of darkness or whatever."

Waving a paw, Xianthe more or less dismissed the rest of the topic, figuring Xanul would ask someone else anyways, later on, for further details. After the kit went through the portal, the illusionist stood for a second, trying to ponder how to get through herself (it wasn't getting any bigger, and she, unfortunately, could not shrink and become a feral cat). Finally, removing her coat and hat (things that could potentially get caught on other things, or fall off, creating a hindrance), she tossed them in ahead of her, doing her best to squeeze through the portal afterwards.

"Stupid Murphy's law," the Nobody muttered irritably as she landed in a heap next to the kit.

The kit frowned. So, that meant..."Daddy sent Bob to take me to his home?" It didn't occur to Xanul that he might have been the one to create the portal, being half-Nobody and all. "Corridors of darkness?" He echoed, puzzled. Yet another thing to learn about Nobodies.

Something landed on his head, obstructing his view and the kit fell down, uttering a small oof as he did so. "Mmrph?" Using a paw, Xanul tried to scramble out of the heap of clothes that had somehow, unfortunatelt, landed on him.
PostPosted: Sun Oct 14, 2007 12:48 am

"Um...you'd have to ask him about that one," Xianthe said, not sure herself, "You sure you didn't make Bob yourself, though?"

The illusionist picked herself up from off the non-existent ground, brushing some non-existent dirt off her skirt, something that was some old habit or another, despite the fact that the girl saw nothing wrong with getting covered in mud.

"Yeah, corridors of darkness," she repeated, "Though this kinda looks like...like someone was on some weird stuff."

Glancing down at the moving heap of clothing, or, rather, the jacket and hat, Xianthe casually picked the items up from off of Xanul, placing the hat back on her own head.

"Anyways, we got a little bit of walking to do, so hope you're prepared."

The kit paused, debating this option for a while. Then he shrugged, "Nah. I'm half-Nobody. There's not much of a chance of me doing that." Besides, probably only Nobodies could create portals.

"Mmm?" The clothes were lifted off him and the kit stood up with a sheepish grin. "Walking?" He repeated. "Doesn't it...appear again?"
PostPosted: Wed Nov 07, 2007 11:10 pm

"Well, you never know, to be truthful," Xianthe encouraged, though not necessarily in a manner that implied she wished for him to call up 'Bob' for them anytime soon. Maybe if things backfired, sure, but in the meantime...

"Of course it does!" the kitsu insisted, nodding, "It's just that...well! It's extremely random as to when it wants to show, and given how crack-brained this place is, you could lose your way fairly easily."

She paused, frowning. "And whatever 'stranger danger' or 'buddy system' or whatever it is they teach kids these days told you, staying in one place isn't the way to go."

"Anyways," she said, waving a paw dismissively, "I've done this once before, so we should be fine. And if all else, you can file a lawsuit against the Organization, or something, not that I think they'd ever show up to court."

The kit shrugged and continued walking around, staring around at the corridors. The last time he was in here, he had went through another portal so quickly that he didn't even bother to stop and stare.

"Random? Isn't it part of your power?" The kit flicked a ear backwards in hesitation. "I mean, don't you decide when it appears?"

"I wouldn't file a lawsuit against Daddy! Besides Uncle Edge's a lawyer." Besides, if what Xianthe meant was to keep them in check, Ayako could. Saix had seen the powers of her wand, and no stupid person would get in the strong-willed kitsu's way.
