Aria smiled at the boy before hearing the other. The emotions between the pair had died done a bit and mostly she was feeling indignation from Noire. There was a sort of curiosity now, directed at her. She could feel it like a warmth on her skin. And disappointment. "I'm Ariadne," she responded, suddenly feeling self-conscious. Something about her had disappointed him, something hadn't lived up to his expectations upon closer inspection.
In order to get away from this feeling of insecurity, she focused once more on Noire, feeling her self-doubts washed away by the girl's energy. "What is 'House'?" she asked curiously, her eyes brightening as she drank in Noire's vive.

What started as a faint, barely audible growl in the base of Noire's throat steadily grew louder as she glared darkly at Aricin. "But you have to." She slowly protested, raising her hand up.
A sudden, quick flick of her wrist and a quarter sized ball of black formed between her fingers. Another quick movement and it was rocketing toward Aricin's head, possibly hitting him and causing a breif moment where his world would seem slowed down, confused, 'wrong' and 'strange' until going back to normal.
"FINE! STUPID! YOU! YOUR THE DADDY!" She pointed at Andra as if she had just accused him of murder, as her emotions washed down to something slightly more normal. "House is a game where you pretend to be a grown up and stuff. I saw some younger kids play it - but we can too... you wanna be the baby, Aria?"

Aricin was still watching Ariadne with a hint of sadness in his gaze. It was a shame really. He turned his head away, shaking it softly. As he looked to the side he saw something hurtling towards him. That looked like… Oh, s**t!
The ball of antimatter hit him straight in head, the resulting fuzzy headed-ness causing him to topple over. The world spun around him and for a brief second he wasn’t sure who he was or where he was. It all came back a few seconds later, with it a rush of anger.
“What the hell was that for?! Just because I don’t want to play your stupid game.” He scowled, stalking over to Noire and grabbing her arm. In retaliation he sent a small jolt of electricity into her body. Not enough to hurt her, just give a bit of surprise.

The ball of anti-matter made Andra's nerves run riot inside him. Even more so when she told him he had to play a father or something along those lines. He tried to search for something to say in order to get him out of the situation, but couldn't seem to find any words. He did however manage to calm himself fairly quickly. After hearing her explanation of what 'house' was, it all seemed to make a bit more sense to him. Maybe she wasn't insane... much...
He did little more than stand there and watch as Aricin went in for the attack. Not that he was going to admit it to anyone, but these two were amusing to watch.

She watched the whole exchange, once more enamored by the play of emotions. Something in it spoke to her, opened her wide and she could almost see it pulsing in veins between the two. Some of it seemed to detach and reach out to her and she felt a resonance, an answer its its call.
She wondered if she could touch it... it looked like something tangible. Surely, she could just reach out a hand and wrap it around her fingers. Stroke it, coax it along...
About that time, she realised the other, paler boy was beside her and she suddenly lost sight of the emotions, only feeling the familiar buzz now.

Noire glared as Aricin came over, promptly blowing a raspberry when he got in range. As she was shocked, her tongue still out, she jumped away and hissed angrily at Aricin.
"I'M GONNA KILL YOU!!" She screamed, before smartly running behind Andra-Del and Ariadne.
She took two deep breaths, and while still glaring over their shoulders at Aricin, she asked Ariadne, "Does that mean you don't wanna be the baby? FINE. YOU CAN BE THE MOMMY." She huffed, arms crossed. Today was just full of disappointment.
"I'll be the baby." She looked around the room, trying to find a set. "Fred can be the evil dark lord trying to steal the mommy away from the daddy. Don't worry, Andra-Del, the good guys always KILL the bad guys." She pointed at a plastic kinder-house, much to small for kids their age. "That can be the house!"
This had better get good soon. Harper always wanted to be the mommy when they played house, and he was no good at it. This was her chance!

“The evil dark lord? Fine.” Apparently Noire wasn’t going to let this game thing drop, so he figured he would play along for a little while. Besides, he was quite happy after giving her that shock. “What am I suppose to do? I have to steal… the mommy?”
Aricin had never placed ‘house’ before but it didn’t seem too hard. He looked at Aridane, who had been dubbed the mommy and frowned slightly. “Okay.” Where was he supposed to steal her off to? This game was pretty stupid.

Andra-Del glanced from Ariadne to Aricin to Noire. "They do?" He asked seemingly confused once again. What was he meant to be doing? Did he even want to be doing it? "Why?" He asked tilting his head a little somewhat like a lost puppy, "What happens if the bad guy kills the good guy first? and if the good guy is trying to get back the mommy... and the bad guy is trying to keep her... what is the baby doing?" He asked getting technical as the thoughts began to flow. This new world was full of questions. It sounded like a rather foolish game to play. Especially when there were no specified rules to go by or make it more interesting.

Ariadne listened to the pale one and nodded in agreement. This is a children's game? There doesn't seem to be a point. Why would this Fred want to steal me away from the pale man and leave Noire all alone? They seem to get along for some reason. Why not play that way, where they get along and we're getting to know one another?
However, Noire seemed to be getting upset that no one wanted to play her game. Perhaps Ari could try and it would make sense eventually. It didn't hurt. "What do I do, Noire? I've ever seen a baby. Or a mother."

Noire dramatically rolled her eyes. "I SWEAR! DO I have to explain EVERYTHING to you idiots?!" She threw herself on the floor, huddled up, and looked at her 'mother' pointedly. "Well, I'll help my dad kill the bad guy, of course. Okay! Try to steal her, Fred! Hurry up, it's going to be morning and your skin will burn up in the sunlight!"
She looked back at Ariadne and Andra and shook her head. That little bit of irony was enough for even her to catch. "Fine. If you dont want to play my game, think of something better! I DARE YOU! Your all just stupid, anyway." She mumbled the last bit, pouting to herself.

Oh god she was pouting. Aricin sighed, running a hand through his hair. He rolled his eyes and then got to work being an ‘evil overlord’. “I’m coming to get you!” He said in a deadpan voice as he stomped over to Ariadne, grabbing her by the upper arm.
“Ahaha. I have her now. I have triumphed over good…. Come on little baby Noire, get up and do something. This is your game after all.” A happy Noire was much better than a sad one. He looked over at Andra. “Hurry up. You’re the dad. Do something before I take your wife away and do something incredibly evil.”

Andra still wasn't sure what to do. He was a little hesitant to even register that Aricin was playing along. Not wanting to get Noire anymore upset, he decided he may as well play too. Besides, it wasn't like he had any better ideas. 'do something?' were pretty much the only words that went through. "Stop! How dare you touch her!" He half shouted pushing Aricin's other shoulder softly, yet hard enough to make him move. He felt like an idiot. He just hoped he could get further into this game enough to enjoy himself, which he hadn't been able to do since he came out of the tube.

Ariadne found herself half-pressed against Fred, his hand on her small arm. So this is 'make-believe'? Hmmm... is it like acting on television, then? I might be able to do this... She gasped overly-loud, figuring that if the boys could push their their awkwardness and make an effort-- they tasted as though they were (she didn't quite know what 'humoring' was yet) doing this despite not wanting to do so and putting their best into it? Something like that-- if the boys could, so could she.
"Unhand me, you fiend!" She swatted Fred weakly and looked at the pale one. "Oh, save me..."

Noire blinked a few times, looking surprised. What? They were actually playing?
Dude, that routine never worked on Harper.
"HA!" Noire yelled, rolling around until she set on crawling toward the other. "I'm gonna-"
She stopped, squinting her eyes. Wow, this game was really stupid. Standing up, Noire dusted herself off and crossed her arms, glaring at the other three. "Why are we playing this?"
Oh, it certainly wasn't her fault, that much she was sure of. There had to be better things, most freshly coming to her mind; Alistair. "I think I know where Alistair's bedroom is, and I think he's taking a nap." She suddenly said, eyeing them all for any familiar spark of revenge trouble-hungry glower. "Or we could break out into the forest!"

Aricin let out what he hoped was an evil cackle. It was sound he’d heard Val utter on more than one occasion as he blasted some poor bug into oblivion with the fly spray. Complete overkill but at least it kept Ari’s insane guardian busy for ten minutes or so.
Great! He was glad to see that Noire was getting up and beginning to come over. “Never, she’s mine now and… wait a second!” Aricin stopped talking and stared at Noire. What did she mean she didn’t want to play anymore? “But… ugh.” Rolling his eyes in defeat he let go of Ariadne’s arm and half turned away, looking bored.
“Whatever you want. I don’t care.”
