Kyna shrugged. "When it's a choice, it's not so hard," she remarked. "The problem is when it's forced, either by tragedy or some other action or emotion."
Ivy nodded in agreement. "That's true. Right, Hilt?"
Hilt twitched an ear, which Ivy took to mean as agreement. She smiled. "I think he likes you, Kyna," Ivy commented. "He's never this quiet around people he hates."
"What are you talking about?" Hilt demanded. "You don't know anything."
"Hmph. I know plenty," Ivy told him petulantly.
"Apparently nothing about me." Hily stretched out on ground, heedless of the dirt getting on his coat.
Kyna watched the big cat nervously. Spats between humans didn't worry her, but put a huge cat into the mix and she got wary.

Bob chuckled listening to them. "Please Hilt... you pretty much like everyone that Ivy likes." He said softly.

Hilt snorted softly.
"Awww, is Hilt offended?" Ivy teased. "Poor baby."
Kyna smiled hesitantly. It didn't look like Hilt was about to attack or anything. She relaxed slightly.

"So Kyna.... Where do you live?" Bob asked her.

Kyna shrugged. "I'm just wandering around these days," she said carelessly. "I haven't found a place that I like enough to settle down yet. What about you?"

Bob almost smiled. "Well me Ivy and Hilt live in a castle... Perhaps you would like to come and live there as well..." He said.

Kyna shrugged again. "Maybe. I'll think about it," Kyna said. "I'd have to see it first."
"Oh, you'll love it! It's very pretty!" Ivy gushed. "Everyone loves it!"
Kyna smiled. "Something to look forward to, then, I guess."

Bob shrugged. "Well it's really up to you. Since your Ivy's friend I suppose I can allow you to live there as our guest. And then if you ever want a job there as well, I can offer that as well." He said casually.

Kyna smiled. "I'll think about it," she promised again.
"Well, now that we're decided that," Ivy said, ignoring the fact that nothing was decided, "can we go explore some more?"

Bob chuckled, amused by Ivy and her excitement. "Aye, do what you wish with your friend. Just remember your grounded when we get back." He said seriously. Wanting her to remember that after this there wouldn't be fun and games for a while.

Ivy sighed melodramatically. "Yes, yes, whatever. I just wanna go look around now." Just like a child, Ivy lived in the moment. She grabbed Kyna's arm, tugging her down the street. Hilt got up slowly and trailed behind.
"Slow down, slow down!" Kyna said, laughing. They were nearing the edge of the festival, and her wind was growing agitated. She looked around sharply. "What?"
Altheia stepped out of the shadows of a building. "So, right into my clutches, eh, little wind witch?" she said. She was a bit disconcerted to see that the girl's wounds were healed and she was looking bright and happy and not at all tired, but she got over it quickly. The wind witch was off her guard, and that would have to do. Quickly, she cast a spell on both girls and they froze where they were. "And you brought a friend, how sweet." She examined the second girl and her eyes widened. "Ah! You're the one from Litha," she purred. "Oooh, tough decision. The soul-stealer or the wind witch? Which to choose?"
Hilt, unseen until then, jumped on the woman. "Don't you threaten Ivy!" he growled.
Altheia shrieked in rage, but she didn't lose control of her spell. "Stupid beast!" With supernatural strength (she hadn't been alive for uncountable years for nothing), she threw the big cat against a building, where he lay, stunned. "Now. On to more important matters." She circled around Ivy and Kyna, inspecting each thoroughly.
((It's just not a festival without conflict. n.n))

Bob was in the middle of watching some of the gypsys dancing and collecting money. He quietly sighed. He was able to sence once more that Ivy was in trouble, and that ment that Hilt and probably Kyna were in trouble as well. He concentarted a moment, and then teleported a few feet away from them. A force feild soon around him and them.

Altheia hissed in rage. "You will not take my hunt from me!" she snapped. With a sharp gesture from her, the ground around Bob's shield cracked and fell away. "Take the one who belongs to you, and her cat, but the other is mine now."

Bob growled at the strange girl. "I THINK NOT." He said loudly. "She is mine as well. She just took a job offer. Thus making her mine." He waved his hand pulling the three of them to him. Bob tossed Hilt over his shoulder, and pulled the two girls close. "Mine." He hissed unfreezing them.

Altheia calmed down visibly. "Prior claim overrides your job offer," she stated. "Give me the wind witch."
Kyna looked nervously for a way out. Unfortunately for her, the shield kept her wind out, as well. Other breezes found their way in, but they weren't near as obedient as her own. She breathed a few curses, craning her neck to see over her shoulder.
Ivy watched Hilt fretfully. He was breathing, but irregularly. What happens if he broke his ribs? Ivy wondered. She peered into his half-closed eyes. They weren't focused at all. She turned to glare at the woman on the other side of the shield. "You hurt Hilt! You'll pay for that!"
Altheia laughed. "And how do you plan to make me pay, little girl?" she asked, scorn heavy in her voice. She turned back to the man protecting her prey. "Well?"
