"Alright Aquarius, lets start up with an agility." Lukan said as the green pikachu started to run in circles around the area of the smoke screen. Slowly the black fog began to swirle with the motion, and soon it was almost like a many tornado, before dispersing into the air. "Great work, now lets follow up with a slam!" He announced as the Aquarius ran up with the speed of the agility still in affect and grabbing onto the tail of the charmander in attempt at slamming the scaly lizard onto the ground.

The charmander gave a surprised yelp as it suddenly found its self face down on the ground.
"Get up, Charmander! Use ember!"
Vincent turned his head upward toward Aquarius and let out a short burst of flame. He picked him self up and got back into a fighting stance.

Aquarius danced around with the tip of his tail on fire. Slowly he calmed down and licked his finger and pinched out the small fire. "I think one charmander is good enough." Lukan said with a chuckle. "Stand your ground and wait for them to make a move."

The Charmander lifted his head up proudly and snorted a flame. He let out another ember attack without waiting for his trainer's orders, rushing at the electric Pokemon.
"Don't do that, dummy!" Heather called but it was obvious he wasn't going to listen. Ah well, his downfall.

"Hold your ground a little longer..." Lukan said as the ember shot closer to his pikachu. "Dodge now!" He yelled as the pokemon just barely able to dodge out of the way into the air. Coincidentally Aquarius just was able to get his body a lined with the sun so he was slightly protected by sight for a moment. "Come down with another slam attack." Lukan ordered as the pokemon began its decent towards the earth and the Charmander.

"Vincent! MOVE IT!" Heather shouted waving her arms frantically.
The younger Pokemon didn't stand a chance. As the Pikachu slammed down on him, he passed out. He was exhausted and seemed rather upset once he came to. "Why haven't I evolved yet...?" He mumbled to himself as he was picked up by his worried trainer.
"Are you alright, Vincent?" She asked but he he just continued to be confused at his loss. "Thanks for the battle... I'm sure we'll win one eventually. He just always bites off more then he can chew."

Lukan sighed as his Pikachu jumped onto his shoulder and her gently massaged his cheek where his electric package was which just slightly lulled his pokemon into relaxing and curling up on his head. "You know I'm more then willing to help train with you to help you two out." He said with a grin. "You just have to have patients, otherwise what you seek will never come to you. Or, I think that's how the saying goes." He thought for a moment and ran his hand down Vincent's back with a gentle touch. "How about it?"

"Sure that sounds great..." Heather answered with a smile, laughing at the old saying.
The charmander, however, wasn't so forgiving. He bit Lukan's hand and growled at him deeply.
"Vincent!" She scolded with a glare.

Lukan shook his hand and licked the bite mark. "It's okie. I've had worse done to me." He said with a chuckle. "Besides, if we train together Vincent, you'll be able to evolve quicker." He said with one eye open at the flaming pokemon. He was sure that might lifts its spirits.

Heather still looked conerned as she put down the pokemon to examine his wound. She took his hand, inspecting it before giving it a lick of her own.
The charmander did see more interested. He wrapped his arms around his trainer's leg and finally nodded in approval. He'd take that option if it meant he could get stronger.

Lukan blushed and stammered. "Ahh ha ha. Okie, first it would be good if we took a break to get our energies up." He said still blushing and rubbing the back of his head. He said as he turned around and returned his pokemon to there balls. "Well, you know of any areas that would be good for camp?

"We could camp here..." Heather suggested, looking around at the clearing. "It looks well enough, don't it?" She questioned sitting down in the grass and stroking Vincent's head. "Do you think he wants to evolve?"

"Yeah, you're right. This is as good of place as any to set up camp." He said setting his things down. He looked over at her with his eyebrows raised and his head slightly turned to the side with a questionable look on his face. He walked over to her and gently touched her cat like ears and rubbed them. "I think you could use some training yourself if you can't even hear your own pokemon." He said with a chuckle looking down over her with a toothy grin.

Heather began to purr, leaning into his touch. "Hear them...?" She questioned with a dazed expression. "They only say their names..." The girl flicked her tail and made a few cat sounds, before closing her eyes.
The charmander looked up jealously and made his flame brighter as a warning. He didn't like this man touching his trainer. He could get his own.

Lukan chuckled and scratched behind her ear for a moment before slipping out his Pokedex. "You do know they have a translator on there, right?" He asked sitting down and motioning Vincent to come over. "I have your first training thought out, but it wont begin right now. First, we need some fire wood for later." He explained.
