Aeon bounced away from the danger caused by his own attack; however, this put him in a dangerous position and a vulerable one at that.
Just as he landed, the loose rock under his feet gave way to a large hole in the stadium ground. Clinging to edge of the hole, Aeon was attempting to pull himself up when Hecate reached him with her speed.
Her Fury Swipes felt like a thousand razors over his bruised and beaten body; crying out, he tried to squirm away by climbing out but the constant hits kept him in place.
Jen panicked slightly at the situtation at hand. Aeon wasn't going to be able to stay in the battle unless she did something and quick. She clenched her fist, pondering a way of escape....when an idea hit her like a double-slap attack.
"AEON!" Her cry was like a breath of fresh air to the electric pokemon, "Use Iron Tail and let's send Hecate on a one-way trip!"
That was what he was waiting for: eyes snapping open with a glow of strength in them, Aeon swung side to side before letting go of the edge to drop. Reaching the bottom, he bounced upwards and shifted in mid-jump as his tail began to glow a silver-white again.
"RRRRRrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrraaaaaaaaaaaiiiii..........CHU!"
With a sharp flip, Aeon sent his tail flying towards Hecate while he "flew" towards safety.

Revanash actually covered her eyes this once.
With a sickening thud, Hecate's vision went blank for a moment as the heavy blow landed on her forheah again right where the previous had struck. Her fur split open this time, matting her face with tiny red droplets.
The Sneasel, growled, cowering to the ground for a moment while she held her head with shaking claws.
"Hecate...?" Revanash spoke softly, "Can you go on?"
The Sneasel was still for a moment, a small bundle of jet black fur on the dirt. After a couple of second's silence, she uncurled from her position and nodded. She was going to lose, but she would lose with her head held high.
Revanash nodded, and with a sigh called her final order,
"Dark Pulse, Hecate!"
The Sneasel gave Aeon a glance before beginning the attack, there was that satisfied glimmer in her eyes again. A sort of compliment to her opponent.
Now she shut her eyes and begun to concentrate, while ripples began to distort the ground around her. Almost like she was standing on water. Then without a warning, she stomped the floor with her front claws, sending the waves of energy to the other end of the stadium.

Just as Aeon landed somewhat ackwardly, The Dark Pluse attack sent him flying to the very edge of the arena. He landed and rolled a few more feet before laying still on the rocky battleground.
Pain flashed the injuries on his forehead and side as blood began to drip from the now open wounds; he couldn't back down though...not now, not when victory was at hand. Rolling over onto his stomach, Aeon dug his claws into the soft earth and heaved himself onto his back paws before turning to face Hecate, sweat pouring down his face in waves.
"Aeon...." Jennifer made a move to stop the battle when Aeon turned and gave her the "What the heck are you doing?!" look. She stopped and stared before nodding at her partner.
"Alrighty then....Aeon, let's finish this! VOLT TACKLE!"
"RAI!" He got down on all fours and rushed head-on at Hecate as the electrical aura gathered around his speeding body.

Hecate didn't make a move, she only braced herself for the attack by getting down and digging her claws on the sandy ground.
The blow came swiftly, and knocked the air out of her while sending her skidding back; claws leaving deep gashes on the dirt as she withstood the shock with the least squirming possible.
When the momentum finally died down, Hecate felt the last few waved of electricity leave her body through the ground, and with a deep breath, she let her legs give out beneath her.
The Sneasel slumped on the ground with a thud, violet eyes closed.
Revanash smiled at her Pokemon while holding out the Great Ball again and whispering "Good job Hecate."
She finally turned to her opponent and without another word, simply gave a polite bow and whirled away to leave. The was no grudge to be held.

As Jen watched her opponent and her pokemon leave the arena, the soft thud of body on dirt caught her attention. Aeon had collapsed when the rush and excitement of the battle had disappeared.
"Aeon...." Jen rushed over and kneeled by the injured pokemon, gently petting the sweaty fur, before pulling his pokeball out of its holder and called him back in a flash of red light. Standing, she watched her opponent before turning towards the exit...
Although this vistory was true, it was now in the past. The present need was to get her friend to the Center.
As both trainers left the arena, the florescent lights faded and turned off with a loud click. It would witness more battles when morning came.
