((well if nobody else join we'll need to take up some other parts))
Picking up the file lift on the nurses' station, Lisa entered examination room 1, where an anxious mother and her child sat waiting. "Good morning, my name is Dr. Cuddy and I'll be your doctor today." After diagosing the child with a simple case of the common cold, Lisa tossed the finished file on the station, hoping that the next would be a little more interesting. Noticing a file on the side of the pile of files, Lisa picked it up and was immediatly interested in it.

Emma sighed as she sat on the roof thinking everything through. She could not believe this, she had found out last month that her mother had cancer. She thought ' This is so much to take in. Its not like a softball game where you can come back from behind'.

Walking down the familiar corridors she passed each day, Lisa suddenly had a wave of emotion hit her. Maybe it was a side effect of a new treatment of fertility meds of maybe it was the dying cancer patient, but all of a sudden Lisa felt a strong attachment to the hospital and the people working in it. She leaned against the wall, overcome by the emotion, taking a moment to think. Deciding that she needed to converse further with Emma, Lisa made her way back down the hall, to where she hoped to find Emma. Approaching the room, Lisa noticed that Emma was not there, slightly puzzled, she went back to the lobby, to ask the nurses whether they had seen Emma.

BiC: Emma sighed maybe she should get back to her mother's room before she wakes up again. She could not move her body and her thoughts deep down kept her here thinking. "Why? Why did this have to happen to my mother?" she said to herself. She looked up at the sky wondering why this all happened what was the reason for this.

Learning that Emma had gone to the roof, Lisa suddenly found herself feeling suddenly not so sure of herself. She was prepared to see Emma if she was still with her mother, but becasue Emma had gone to the roof, if she made her way there, Lisa felt that she would be intruding on a private motive. Deciding against following Emma to the roof she decided to wait for her near her mother's room. She checked her watch and nodded, she still had time before her next meeting and walked back down the corridor she had just left. She stopped in front of the room, leaned against the wall and slowly drifted into thought. "I wonder when House will show himself today, after all it is starting to get late, he can't hide forever." Lisa glanced over at the dying woman lying asleep in her bed and she quickly turned her head away, feeling as though she was prying. "Why is it, the people that are most needed in the world always seem to be the ones that die early, while the ones that are useless die at a ripe old age."

Emma sighed and finally when back into the hospital. She did not really know how long she could continued to act strong around people it was very hard. She hated being helpless not being able to do anything but let fate run its course not matter how bad she wanted it to change. She wondered if the person who said everything happens for a reason was on their death bed. She approached her mother's room and saw Dr. Cuddy talking was not one of Emma's great abilities esspecailly if it involved her emotions that she usually left bottle up inside until she could let it all out while playing music. That was the only time she truely expressed herself and then again she rarely let people listen or see her play. She continued to think but stopped looking at Dr.Cuddy. "Umm have you been waiting on me for some reason?" asked Emma a curious look apon her face.

Lisa could feel her face flushing, and she felt stupid and childish that she was getting embaressed right not. Firmly not letting herself be phased by her scarlett cheeks she looked squarely into Emma's eyes. "I came here, wondering if you would like to talk, I know that what you are feeling may be hard to come to grips with but maybe...maybe I can help." Lisa saw the look of confusion come across the girl's face, even Lisa had to admit this was wierd for her. Why had she all of a sudden become so interested and empathetic towards Emma? After all before today, Lisa didn't know that Emma even existed.

"I can't deal with talking about it just yet."said Emma. She thought to herself Don't keep your emotions in check. She wondered at times why she had problems showing her emotions. "I am thankful for your concern but this is not something I am comfortable with enough to talk about" she said. She was still wondering a bit about what her mother had written on her hand but she had bigger problems on her mind right now.

Lisa nodded understandly, why should Emma want to talk to her about her problems. Lisa couldn't talk about her problems with other people, so why should she expect Emma to be able to. Lisa was about to walk back down the hallway when she noticed Emma was looking at her hand. Following her gaze, Lisa caught sight at the message scrawled across her hand. House=Father, the words circled around her mind over and over repeating themselves. "It must mean something else...how could it be.....?" Emma pondered, she looked up and asked Emma something. "Emma by any chance so you know a Doctor House?"

House was hiding from Cuddy, he knew that she would have some meaningless work for him to do. However the only place he could think of hiding was the roof "Only Wilson knows that I like this place, Cuddy would never come here" he thought. However for some reason than hiding from Cuddy made him want to just think on the roof but he didn't know what.

"I think my mom mention him once or twice but she never told me any thing about him."said Emma. She wondered did Dr.Cuddy know something about this. She herself wondered why in the world would her mother write this on her hand. She knew once her mother died she would not have anyone to turn to. Her mother's side of the family did not speak to each other at all.

Emma's eyes flashed at Lisa, and again Lisa felt the striking resemblance of her eyes once again. Looking down at Emma's hand again she could not believe what her mind was trying to tell her. "House= Father...what on earth is the woman trying to say, House couldn't be her father....could he? Maybe she was talking about a different House, maybe it was code for something else?" Lisa shook her head, frustrated. She needed to find House and bring him to Emma, she needed to see the resemblance herself. 'Excuse me Emma, I will be back, I just need to go get someone," Lisa explained and walked briskly down the corridor. Upon arriving at House's office, her frustration grew as she realized he still had not come to his office. Entering the office, Lisa picked up the large tennis ball on his desk and tossed it between her hands. "If I was House, where would I be?"
