Question...
What is a [A] and a [NA] I couldn't find it ><"
PostPosted: Mon Sep 08, 2008 7:16 am

[A] meaning applications are being accepted for the roleplay.

[NA] I think means no application needed.

These should be in one of the stickies in the main forum.

I am a brand spanking newbie roleplayer, and just wanted to say that this is the first thing I read after joining the guild today. This is extremely helpful to me and will be of great help to me in the future.
Shibboleth:SHIB-uh-lith; -leth , noun:
1.A peculiarity of pronunciation, behavior, mode of dress, etc., that distinguishes a particular group of persons.
2.A slogan; a catchword.
3.A common saying or belief with little current meaning or truth.

I am glad this guide was able to help you! biggrin

I really need to live up these subforums again. Far too little activity in them.

While I feel strange about posting in this thread because it's been so long since it's been touched... I would like to say that I've posted a copy of this guide in CSD, and I would like to offer something that might be added to the guide - If you've created a roleplay and you're the GM, no matter how open- or closed-ended the roleplay is, you need to have an outline of the first scene/arc. This is so your roleplay doesn't die after three posts because no one knows what to do. After you guide them them through a few scenes, the roleplayers should have enough of a grasp on the style and mood of the story that they can contribute their own plot points. And if it turns out you didn't have to guide them after all, then you can recycle the outline and save it for when there's a lull in the story.
