It was kinda scary at first... it had potential, at least. Then as SOON as they showed the faces of the angels it RUINED it completely! They were so cliche and stupid-looking that they were comical! They should have stuck with the unknown - people are afraid of what they don't understand, but everyone is used to crazy faces being scary, and so it just wasn't. Plus the end was a little anti-climactic... all that shaking-the-TARDIS stuff went on for way too long. Lost any dramatic effect.
It was a decent episode, though.

Most of it was freeky to me. However, the TARDIS shaking was hilarious. I laughed on that part.

Not as much as the first time mind you...

The weeping angels episode scared the crap out of me! I live next to and Italian family and they have this statue of a little girl and it REALLY creeps me out now. The day after the episode i was at my work and there are these other statues that i did catch myself half expecting to move.....it was the best Doctor Who Episode ever though!

That episode was just brilliant. I love BBC affects. In fact the first thing i thought after that episode was the little kids in cardiff going around saying ''Look mummy it moved!!!''

It wasn't terrifying, per se - I mean, I jumped when I first saw the angel's face and got a bit of an adrenaline rush when they were surrounded, but got bored after a bit. It was more unexpected shock than anything I'd have nightmares about.

Unlike the Empty Child? "Mommy? Are you my mommy?"
My mom and I watched that a second time. I would say that the Detective guy had some fun getting the video in to get at the angels. But that must have felt really strange for him. He was a young man when the rain started, and he was old and dieing as the same rain ended.
