i think he's Uchiha Madara...because i saw the same picture that you guys posted up on this website where they post up translated naruto manga. and Tobi said that he's Uchiha Madara...so that's enought proof for me...i think....unless there is some other twist involve in the story future

Tobi is Obito. Look at the name. Put the T at the end and ad an extra O. Also, to find Obito's story, on youtube, type in Kakashi's Gaiden. Here's a pic to clarify.

Well, I have no proof, but I do have the theroy of Tobi being both Obito Uchiha, {Name Obito is Tobi with an extra "O" scrambled up} And the Akatsuki Leader.
You never know.

I think that Tobi is actually both Obito and Madara.
i.e., Madara's spirit posessing Obito, which eventually became Tobi :0

Itachi recently mentioned something about Tobi having Madara Uchiha's power, but it would make more sense if he is Obito.

I don't see how everyone keeps on saying Tobi is Obito, sure the name kinda leads that way, but the right side of Obito was crushed and Kakashi has the ft eye so tha leaves him with no eyes. Tobi is Madara, plain and simple.

In the manga thus far, we are only informed that 'Tobi' is actually Uchiha Madara. No one can really argue further into it until another chapter in the manga series proves otherwise. So for now, Tobi is Madara.

i have seen some episodes of shippuden, i know for a fact that obito is tobi, not madara, the nine taled fox met madara last time he got out, and even if he was alive, he'd be much older than tobi
