Larry? sweatdrop Sorry about that, I thought that it would be obvious if the first post was read, but maybe not... I just hope that ALL of their names are cool! ...and I hope we find out the names, too... though I guess we'll never know L's... Better to be safe then sorry domokun heart Though I know we all should, people sometimes just look at the latest post, instead of back tracking...so that was for them. Kay? Kyaaaaa!!! We'll know L's name!! Misa knows it! heart I'm telling you, he's still alive (thats my theory). I mean, Rem killed Watari first right? That was the first intervention to save Misa with the death note on Rems behalf, so that should have killed her instantly. The fact that she some how wrote L's name down AFTER she wrote Watari's is very slim. Also the fact we did not see L on his death bed is another reason I am skeptic...though he acted like he was dying, we never actually saw him in the hospital as dead. Also (I know I'm probaly looking WAY into this) the fact that Lights dad came to tell them that L was dead...two hours after L fell from his chair (if you look at the clock, it says 10pm) ....I'm thinking...how long does it take for someone to be delcaired as dead? I just think it was all a little too mysterious and he got knocked off rather a little too quickly... But that's just me....many people would be like "Why would L do that? Why not just haul Kira's a** in?" My answer would be, "Evidence" ....L was getting too close to Kira. He saw Light's expression when he staged his death...but that alone is not exsactly evidence to say that Light is Kira. He is taking a back seat, watching in the wings. He's letting the little ones play with Kira and he's going to be watching VERY closely on their advances. Also he'll probably make use of the evidence found in THEIR investigations. I mean, L is playing blind folded...like always, and he's slowly peicing together the whole story. ....well, this is my idea. You could say "Aw! Get over it girl! L is dead" but I just think something was a little too fishey....but then, that just me. I love him... crying

I also noticed some of the same observations you made. I had initially thought Watari's death alone would kill Rem as well. Also, the fact that L's burial was secret, is something I find to be rather fishy. I feel you hun, I too love the totally awesome Mr. L... ;o; I miss j00 L! Come back damnit! mad heart

No... I'm not going to yell at you... actually, I'm beginning to feel the same way... because, I mean, if he were GONE, it just wouldn't be the same anymore! That's like knocking off a main character! And my friend, that just does NOT happen.
I think everything you said makes sense. I reread Death Note this past week, and I think you're right about Watari! That would've killed her! And nobody took L's pulse! NO ONE!!!
*breathes* Okay, calmer now... I don't know about Misa knowing L's name, though. At least, well, she forgot it...
I wanna start a thread about the whole number system that those Shinigami eyes provide. Because Mello's number was MUCH much smaller and sorta written differently from Light's...

Oh! You're right about Misa knowing L's name! ShivA and I were talking about this on the phone last night... and since Rem had to write down Watari and L's name (assuming she DID write L's name) in her Death Note, and Raito got Rem's Death Note, L's name should be written within! They should both know it! And now I wanna know it...!
Oh... by the way... I didn't really know where to post this... but if you do not want to be spoiled before the scanlations come out, then do NOT check out Wikipedia! Or else... you find out things ahead of time... (though I'm not too upset with what happens... for some reason, I was like, "Oh, this is a win-win situation!" Although... well, that's for the rest of you to decide when the scanlation comes out... but I must say, I am strange...)

Ohh...there are alot of good names you could give them, but they doesnt have to start with an L or a N do they? eh, probably do, or at least L's does....blah, I think L's name could be luke skywalker, compleatly compyrighted to me. ><

RionaDaidouji LOL! Left is an awsome name! XD I was thinking maybe Lucas, Luke/Luc, Lucien... For Near... I dunno... I love the name Lucian... but somehow, I don't think it quite matches L's personality... sad
