Virgo silently followed Andromeda, watching as her glittering form swam through shadows and moonlight as a ghost. Her fluid motions never slowing, still with that expression of dire need and worry. With her brown knitted with worry he quickened his pace, keeping up with the ethereal mare was difficult for him after awhile, he found she had the energey of a thousand suns and the stamina to out run them all. Yet he expected nothing less from his maiden of the sky, and though his side ached and his lungs burned her followed her silently into the night.
Her voice carried on the wind breaking the silence of the night. She was calling out to someone, three someones. Finally their journey was at an end.
Little gemini it seemed was the last to wake. He was slow to rouse himself from the comfortable little hollow he had made in some plush grasses. Still, Mamma was back and she had gone on a quest to find the other. So if she was returning maybe she was bringing Father back with her? The little colt slowly opened his pale eyes and shifted his weight, gathering himself up and shaking off the bits of grass that clung to his downy coat. "Mommaaaa" he said through a half yawn as he slowly walked to join his siblings, shaking the sleep from his mind.

Cassi trotted over to her normal brother with a brimming smile. "Maybe," she mused with a touch of her horn lighting in the deepness that swirled around them known as the canvas of night giving away to morning.
"I wonder what daddy is like. Is he like momma or like you Lyra?" she mused tossing her stubby little mane and tail. Perking her ears she caught the sound of her brother approaching, "Hey Gemini. Momma's back so we better hurry." Flicking her tail she took off in a gallop toward the destination her mother had called them from.
Kalico waited on a semi patient mood for the children to gather. she was eager to pounce the shimmering celestial mare once more, for her absence was just too much on the poor lion familiar. She herself had vivid lucrative dreams of another, the one they both searched for. But to no avail that either were successful in uncovering the mystery. All either knew was she was a kind and quiet two-legger, one that gave her love and compassion to all living things alike.
"Are we ready kids? Come momma is waiting," she yawned with her two toned eyes. Stretching her lithe form she flexed her claws as the long lion tail swayed back and forth with a distinct ringing of a tiny tinkling bell.

Andromeda stood waiting as her ears swiveled back and forth waiting for movement from the three. They were still new to the world, and she understood they had no real affinity for night just yet. Babies slept on their own schedules, though some day they would walk and fly with the canvas of a thousand stars lighting their way.
Turning her head she face the stallion that lathered with sweat, flecked on his chest and sides. He had pushed so hard to be there, to witness his own bloodlines. She hoped he wouldn't think ill of her for being so urgent, but she couldn't travel with three children this small and young. Hoping that nothing predatory such as a kalona would barricade her way to finding the one thing that made her heart drive with passion even more than it head.

Nuzzling his brother in greeting as Gemini arrived to his and his sisters spot he nodded once. "Mom's back...I wonder what father will be like also sister." He spoke softly as his sister took off.
I almost hope fathers like me." He spoke to his brother, as their sister had already taken off, and then he was following his sister, little hooves hitting the darkness darkened grass as he took in a lung full of cooled air enjoying the coolness of the nights air, and the smell of nightblooming flowers.
"Wait up Cassi!" He called out loudly, normally he wasn't quite so loud but he couldn't much help it as his sister was so far ahead and he couldn't see her.

Virgo watched and looked at Andromeda with a quizzical expression. He was glad for the wait for it allowed his lungs to take in the brisk air and finally stop the dull ache in his side. Yet, his mind raced with what she had to show him. He stood beside her, looking out into the distance. Slowly he began to make out 4 shapes in the distance. He looked over to his love again and tilted his head. "Andromeda?" he asked her, before turning back to watch them approch. Children, and their guardian.
His heart lept with joy, he didnt know is he should yell to the mountain tops or faint. His hooves pranced against the soft grass as it seemed he could no longer keep his body still dispite their long journey. There was no doubt in his mind that these where his children, children of the sky.
Gemini mummbled softly and rubbed the sleep from his eyes against his leg. With a toss of his short mane he quickly followed his siblings. He was quiet for the most part, mainly because his mind was still in the land of Nod. He knew momma was home and she had brought their father with them but he was so tired. Yawning he slowly walked behind his siblings, trailing in last place.

Cassi was the first to arrive in front of her parents blinking widely of her father's image. She was much like him only darker, yet her legs were of her mother's tone. His mane showering like a blanket of freshly fallen snow, was lying so serenely over his shoulders like a veil. Holding her head high she grinned with a smile as her horn lit up with tiny flickers.
"Mama? Is this daddy?' she asked with an almost sweet bell like tone chiming from her. The little puff of her tail swaying back and forth gazing into a thousand stars that painted her father's own form.
Kalico padded quickly after her little charge smiling like a child at the sight of the celestial mother of three. Finally she returned with the promise fulfilled, she brought their father as intended. Yawning the Calico lion seated herself, a subtle stretching of the claws as she watched the family arrive. It would of been nice to pounce upon the alicorn mother, but the panther didn't think Virgo was up to the excitement.
"Andromeda! Yey you've returned."
Andromeda blew outward to her daughter flicking her ears toward the sounds of the arriving colts. Nodding her head to Cassiopeia she spoke, "Yes Cassi. This is your father." It felt strange saying this and Andromeda knew this was quite a shock to the startled stallion beside her.
Lowering her head toward him she directed the spiral away, "Virgo. I needed to tell you but could not say in simple words, which I do hope you'll forgive me for the journey you've tread." She looked away then to her daughter and smiled, "Within that wintry time when we were stranded, well as you can see something wonderful occurred. A blessing from the Soquili Goddess high above. " She paused once more turning her violet eyes toward him, searching deeply for happiness or resentment. Either could show in those curious orbs of his, which was what she truly wondered.
Would he stay by her side, or escape and return to the sanctuary of the night that still tugged at both of them. Two stars destined to fall into each other's gaze creating something so precious, that the sky joyously rained stardust formed in the guise of three beautiful children.

It was Lyra who arrived second a few lengths behind his horned sister. "Cassi, that wasn't nice running off like this." He spoke his voice soft and calm as he made his own approach slowly, hesitently.
Cyan eyes stared at his father as he approached not once did his eyes break from his fathers form. he looked like his own father, he could see it in himself.
Finally he broke his eyes away from his fathers form while his little stub of a tail wiggled his gaze shifted to his mother whom he trotted to and nuzzled. "Mother....I'm glad your back..." He spoke softly, he had missed his mother.
