I just played the Wii at my friend's and now I'm thinking about buying it as soon as I can. But can anyone tell me about the things I've been hearing? About how the Wii is hard to find.

Yes, they are kinda hard to find, what my mom did was call around. If they have one, ask them to hold for you till you get there. That's what we did.

They're very hard to find. If you find it in stores, hold it. That's what my brother did. I got mine via interenet. Mine came from Walmart.com. So, get it as soon as you can. Better having one, not use it, and wait for good games than to have all these games come out and not be able to have one cuz you can't find it.

I say get it in November too. Apparently Nintendo won't be making enough Wiis to go around for the Christmas holiday.
Mario Galaxy should keep you occupied long enough until Brawl comes out. 3nodding

I got a wii... I'm kinda sad there isn't a lot of hardcore games, but I still like it.
I say get it when ever the game you want most comes out

I work at GameStop and our store never has any Wiis in stock. The moment they arrive, we sell out of them within an hour or so. It's only gonna get worse the closer it gets to Christmas. Nintendo has apparently announced that they are not gonna be able to meet the demand for the consoles this holiday season so the system will be in short supply again like the 2006 holiday season. It's already causing some parents to panic about not being able to find the console for their child for Christmas.
I was lucky enough to get a hold of one myself a couple of weeks back. I only have four games for it right now: Mario Party 8, Zelda: Twilight Princess, Super Paper Mario, and My Sims. I'd go ahead and pick up the console if possible and worry about good games coming out later on...at least you'll have the system, the games won't be as hard to get ahold of.

The wii is just awesome! you should really get it before the hoilday craziness! cuz they're really hard to find as is.....they're alot of blood and gore games.....but there are a bunch of mult-player games.....it depends on what you want to play....

I would say to get one ASAP before the holiday shopping starts or you will definitely have a hard time finding one. They are a bit harder to find, but I have been seeing way more of them at Best Buy, Target, and Wal-Mart.
As for Brawl - I think that it's actually not coming out until February so if you want to wait for that game, you'll have to wait a bit longer.
Yeah there aren't very many games available yet - but you can choose between Wii & Gamecube games and if you hook it up through Wi-Fi you can download games off of the virtual console that way. I like the Wii a lot and it will definitely become more and more worth it once they release more and more games.
