Wow, you're really mad at everyone aren't you? In fact, from the sound of things, I don't think it's them your mad at. What I think your mad at are the people you are having to work for, and your mad at these other people because they're getting a vacation while you're still working.
Suggestion, get a new better job you would enjoy. *Better to be in a low paying job you love, than a high paying job you hate.*

And I kinda liked the job I had over the summer. I'm not mad at anybody, I just don't see why they have to take a break, and I don't see why I should be understanding. They're just being lazy, and lazy people bother me. If they wanted to take a month off, that'd be fine. But a whole year? Even professors who get sabbatical only get it once every six years, and they usually use it to further their research, not to lounge about and take vacations. What part of my reasoning isn't valid here?

Finally, you posted something that didn't sound like some kind of political debate. (or a call for a lynching) *sigh of relief* Reasoning is valid, it was just how you were presenting it. Almost like you were going to put on some kind of campain or something. That was why I took to arguing. I think for this case it would be to help circulate the creative activity. At least two of the stories (as far as I know) this last season was inspired by a previous story line. This could be a sign of getting a case of writers block. This could happen when the characters go on strike. It happens. It's a weird feeling. It's like you can hear them saying, "Do it yourself." It's a documented case. And no, people who get these kinds of writers block do not need to be sanctioned. In fact, that is what all writers block are.

A large part of what I do is debate. XD I do always mean it in a friendly way, though, and I know that's harder to get across over the internet so I apologize if I ever sounded rude or anything. @_@ I doubt the reason is writer's block. There are many different authors for Doctor Who - usually six or more per season - and many, many more people who would jump on the chance to write for the show. If one of the chosen writers was having trouble, it's far more likely that they'd say "okay, you can write for the next season, sorry" and replace him/her than postpone the whole show. :B Aside from that, the reason they gave was so that David Tennant could go off and play Hamlet.

Ahhhh, but Galaxy_defender confirmed my original suspicion that they are using David as an excuse. So, this isn't all on him here. Though from the sound of it they are making it out to be.
hehe, not surprising to hear that. I'll happily debate with you if you want. Mind you, I may not pull any punches. (I find it easier to chat via writing than out loud. I start talking and things that came to mind to argue and suddenly it goes right out the window, door, waste bin. However in writing, it all comes out.)

Well, the "other" reason is because they're lazy. XD Seeing as, aside from RTD, no writer is writing more than two episodes, and they're only filming and editing 13 episodes a year, they're NOT overworked. They're just lazy. XD
Oh yay! : D I'm always afraid I'll offend or piss off someone, though I never mean to be rude. I just like debating. @_@ And yeah, I prefer writing it as well, because I can think about what I'm saying and it usually makes more sense that way. :B

lol, there are times when I would start talking and I wined up confusing myself.
What I find funny is that he's going to be in Love Labors Lost. That was the play where the sequel was inspired by the Carrionites. I can just imagen the jokes that are going to be flying backstage. Just so long as he doesn't decide to do Macbeth I'm happy. I don't want things flying at his head. *the play is jinxed.* One man died after giving a bad review of a rendention that had three real voodoo witches.
