"I hope that's not what happened." She said as she wiped her eyes with the back of her paw. After she gathered herself, she smiled up to him, "Shall we get started? Walking I mean." She said as she stood, the image of a cub brightened her face.

"You've nothing to tie you here?" He asked, having thought she might be part of this vast and varied pride. Ewan was happy enough to go but their mother had told him to make sure they weren't bothering her. After all, Jina would have a life of her own and the ties had been broken for so long...

She stood up, and lightly bounced around. "Nope, nothing at all." She said, feeling something in the back of her mind tugging at her, but she ignored it. Whatever it was could wait till after she met with her mother. She'd been waiting too long.
"I'm all ready." She smiled, her tail wagging quickly.

"She'll be near the Jungle by now or near enough. We're all searching everywhere for you...we should be able to catch up with her after a couple of days travelling, Jin." He shorted her name a bit, easily falling into the role of baby bro. His mother /had/ looked after a lot of cubs on a short term basis before, so he was used to playing the role to older fosterlings.
He smiled, stretched out one achey paw - he'd been on his feet, running around looking for this girl for far too long - then started to walk at an easy pace. One Jina could match and that would eat up the miles steadily without wearing them out.
