The force of Kyrin’s push released Nori from Jaydn’s death grip, and had him stumble backwards. After catchighis footing, His hands went to the crumbled collar, where Jaydn’s had been moment’s before. Jaydn’s misunderstanding was an unfortunate surprise, even more bewildering was Kyrin's defensive reaction. He looked from one to the other, wondering who had the worse bite.

 Confusion took over Jaydn's features as his eyes flickered back and forth between Kyrin and Nori, trying to comprehend the relationship that they shared. He hadn't been aware of it at the time but now that he thought about it, the two of them had been spending a lot more time together. Jaydn gave a frown as a thought struck him. What if Nori and Ky were... No, I don't approve. Jaydn felt like yelling at Kyrin a warning about entering a relationship with the gender confused freak but he wasn't exactly sure if this was what was really happening between them and shouting at her wasn't the best way of getting confirmation. With this in mind, he instead took a breath in before asking as evenly as he could, "What's going on?"

 Kyrin drew her hands away from where she had shoved Jaydn, a little taken a back. She hadn‘t exactly meant to be physical about it, it had just kind of come out. She looked at her oldest cousin in shock, unable to comprehend any words to speak to him. ”I…” Suddenly she was shaking. Having Jaydn there at that moment was making everything seem worse then it already was. He wouldn‘t understand, it wasn‘t like him. Kyrin‘s knees grew weak as she dropped to the floor with her shoulders shaking and her tears falling to the floor, leaving little spots of water appearing where they fell.

Nori rushed to Ky’s side, throwing an arm around her in support,as she trembled. He did not know if it was possible to feel so much sympathy for her. The details were still groggy, but the situation was clear. Ky was crushed by guilt and there was little that Nori could do for her now .

As Jaydn saw Kyrin collapse and Nori rush to her aid, Jaydn realized that Nori seemed much more motherly towards Ky than a lover would be. With that cleared away, Jaydn gave an internal sigh of relief. Even so, something was still bothering Kyrin and Jaydn wouldn't rest until he knew what it was. Gesturing over to a couple of his men just outside the room, Jaydn had the ballroom doorway guarded to ensure that none would be leaving nor would anyone be entering until he gave his say. Kyrin, sobbing on the floor, looked in no state to speak. Turning then to Nori, Jaydn figured that if anyone knew what was going, then it would be Nori. "You will tell me what's going on." Jaydn's statement left no room for argument.

The pressure of Jaydn’s eyes meeting Nori’s felt like the weight of a piano floating stories above, ready to crush him He didn’t want to betray Kyrin, but he wasn’t left much of a choice by Jaydn. Very aware of their psuedo-entrapment, Nori looked helplessly to Kyrin.

Nori cleared his throat with a cough that did little to help. His palms were sweaty, and he was about to move them towards his hair where he could nervously pull on it, when he realized that, like a wild animal, Jaydn could pounce at any sudden movement. His voice was almost shaky as he started, “Ky… uh, Kyrin is… expecting.”

Jaydn waited a bit to see if Nori would continue. Nori's wavering disposition did nothing but make him seem even more guilty and suspicious to Jaydn. When the boy didn’t, Jaydn prompted, “Expecting what?”

I'm gonna be annoyed as hell if she's expecting company and trying to sneak that stupid Upper City kid back in here. Dizzy, or whatever they called her. Ditzy would probably suit her better anyway, can't understand what Kyrin's thinking, befriending that idiot. Though I suppose I should be happy that Isabella O'Donnell, heir to Sean O'Donnell's mafia, is a complete moron. It'll make it all the more easier for me to take over the rest of the city when I fill in for Uncle Han. Ugh, if this crossdresser stutters one more time while talking to me, I think I might just give up talking to him, I can barely understand half of what he's saying as it is. Wait, did he just say... child? A child?! He better mean that a kid is coming to visit the house as a guest or something. But he's not looking like he means that at all. He's making it seem like a big deal but Ky can't have a kid, she'd have to be pregnant to do that. Oh s**t, Kyrin's pregnant!

Kyrin looked up at Jaydn from her position on the ground. She took hold of the hand that held her and clung to Nori for comfort. Some where in her mind she was afraid of Jaydn at that moment. Kyrin’s eyes still shown brightly as she looked up at her cousin, one of the select people that she hoped wouldn’t find out.

Jaydn was struck speechless for a few moments as he looked at Kyrin in disbelief. He was desperately hoping that Kyrin would suddenly laugh and tell him that it was all a joke. Realizing that this wasn’t the case, Jaydn’s features hardened, when he realized how his Uncle would respond when he would inevitably find out. <********> Jaydn said lowly, “I’m gonna kill Draven.” It explained everything, Kyrin’s breakdowns whenever she was speaking with Draven and Draven’s sudden disappearance from the mansion. The b*****d’s running. The corner of Jaydn’s mouth curled. Much as the situation angered him, the young man couldn’t help but be glad for a reason to kill off the idiot who he had never liked from the first time they had met.

This time it was Kyrin who was confused, “What?” How he had come to this conclusion, Kyrin couldn’t comprehend. She looked to the door and saw her only escape blocked. Kyrin stood now and faced Jaydn, regaining what little composure she could manage. “You can’t tell Daddy.” Her voice was full of pleading and something almost like fear.
