I've always wanted an outdoor weddding. And since I want to use Daffodills as my bouquet, that shoves it in the spring time, since that's the only time of year that they suckers grow.
Though I've been mulling a theme wedding, namely 30's mobsters. Girls in vintage stlye suits and guys in pinstripes and spats. My father even said he'd walk the groom down the isle with his thompson (unloaded of course) in the guy's back.

I've always wanted an outdoor wedding too but I think mine'll be in the fall. I just love the colors o^.^o I don't really like indoor weddings either. They're always stuffy because all the people. Open air's more appealing to me

SaintChaos Kharybuce eek Holy mother of bejesus! I always say that there will only be two things I will be in charge of if & when I get married: 1) my tux, and 2) the wedding cake. If I can find someone to elaborate on that design, I will be eating a six foot tall Mario cake. HAHAHA right on brother! xD I want a master cheif cake crying The closest things I can find of a Halo related cakes.

My sister had her wedding ceremony at the Phipps Conservatory in Pittsburgh just recently. They rented what they call a "Broderie Room" which they usually don't let anyone set foot in besides the gardeners. It was a beautiful wedding. They had a UU minister do the vows and such. Here's a pic:

Well this would never happen because it does not exist in the real world, but my dream wedding would be on board the Starship Enterprise, NCC-1701, in full TOS uniforms for everybody, my husband in Vulcan ears, my bridesmaids made up like Andorians, and a Klingon doing the ceremony bits. . . . . I'm such a nerd. . . . But I LOVE IT! Anyway, because that is not totally possible, I would want as close to that as possible.

I had a LOTR style wedding, outside a hotel off the beach with a non denominational reverend. I wrote the entire ceremony, so it was very personal. Everyone - religious and not, loved it!

I would rather not get married in a chapel or a church, but if my then-to-be wife really, really wants, I will of course accept her wishes. For the sake of love, hehe. smile

I would rather not get married in a church, they make me feel somewhat awkward. I was thinking about being married on a boat by a captain. That would be fun biggrin

Gardens, hotel banquet halls, parks, courts, cruise ships, beaches, your own backyard, basically anywhere where a bunch of people can sit and watch you getting married, where a cake can stand somewhere and your witness can pronounce you partners for life, where the people can have a banquet/feast afterwards (optional).

See, I don't worry about these things because, being the groom, I won't have much a say anyway. stare

Xylophone Master I would rather not get married in a church, they make me feel somewhat awkward. I was thinking about being married on a boat by a captain. That would be fun biggrin I think you can have a wedding on the Carnival Cruise lines, but I don't think the Captain would do the ceremony. Or you can rent a private yacht and have it there.

I would only get married in a church if my fiance was really religious and really wanted to. I wouldn't being giving up my atheist beliefs, but if it meant a lot to the guy I loved, I wouldn't certainly mind doing it.
My dream location for a marriage would be a big, green park or the beach, because those are the places where I feel really relaxed and at peace with myself and the world.

I'd probably just go to a court for a wedding certificate and then throw a BIG party with freinds and family.
