I'm a vocal member of the Realms of Fantasy Magazine forum, but other than that I'm having a hard time finding fantasy magazines that I can trust, and that will accept my unconventional world.
I've made my to do list. We're going on a 6 month holiday me and my mum and brothers. One of the benefits of homeschooling. So I've made a list of goals I need to accomplish before leaving the cabin in six months. Essentially I want to have majority of world building finished. I'll have six hours a day to work on it if necessary so It's doable.
Today I didn't do much at all, but I'm about to write for a while. It's comming up on midnight though, so I might not get much more done tonoght.

I'm writing the same ol' thing...a story from last year, fantasy, for some friends. It's mostly been poetry lately.

Once my work day is done and I get home from riding lessons (yay, horsies!) I'm going to work on a fanfic of mine that's been languishing, oh, like, forever... that's my task du jour. smile

I am going to be writing more info in on the storm at sea when my brain decides to wake up. I've got first hand experience of sailing a tall ship now, so that'll help no end. I can't wait to go sailing again! Whoo! Hemp and canvas here I come...

So it's Monday, my baseball team only won one of three this weekend at a critical point in the season, and it's back to work... I have two user guides to write for the same piece of software, from a standard user perspective and from an analysis perspective for the OLAP portion of the application. No fun for me today!
I hope everyone else gets to write something interesting! LOL!

I'm working on my NaNo novel in between work tasks. It has a working title of "Asgard" but that will change over time...
Anyone else writing?

I am... a trilogy, at the moment, and despairing over when/if I'll ever be finished and when/if my editor gets done with it so I can attempt to send it in to an editor.
Have any of you ever noticed how what you're reading or listening to or what's going on in your life/mind tends to seriously influence your writing? Right now, it's Twilight for me. ((LOVE IT!!!)) Not to worry, I'm not copying the story in any way, shape, or form. But I just find that I'm inspired to write more 'lovey' type scenes reminiscent of Edward and Bella.

Oh yes, I have noticed that. smile If I'm in a bad mood my characters go through heck. If I'm happy they usually have make-out scenes. *grins* My mood definitely affects what I write!

Heee... make-out scenes...
Though it makes me wonder if all writers end up blushing as flaming red as I do when they write what I do. If someone could see me, they might think I'm writing something obscene! But I'm not! I just turn very red.
