She blinked at her brother with a bit of confusion mixed in with worry. “I get called cute a lot and I am big.” Besides, what was the point of living if you tried to be just like everybody else all of the time? Thalassa frowned a moment and hoisted her brother up a bit more in her arms to be comfortable. Perhaps she’d be able to set him straight.
“Now that isn’t very nice. The swan gave mamma and pappa feathers for us, and we’re perfect how we are. Why do you want to be like everybody else?”

"Being like everyone else wasn't something I thought of." Terale murmured, feeling guilty by his words. "I just want to be big so that I can reach up and I dunno grab something I can't grab while small."
Terale pouted some more, wondering if she was irritated with him. "What if I get...I dunno stepped on by mistake or eaten or unable to find my way since I'm so small?"
He guessed the cute thing was okay, and the being thought of as perfect made him feel proud inside that his parents got Numa's that were perfect; however they looked. Terale still wanted to be big though. "We gonna land?" Being patient wasn't something he wanted, he wanted to roll again!

Thalassa held her brother while he squirmed in her arms and once he reasoned a bit with himself and wasn’t wanting to just be like everybody else he seemed to calm down and not be nearly as upset.
She gave him a smacking kiss on the head and promised, “If any of those three things happen to you I’ll make sure to find the meanie that did it to you, okay?’
Landing with an almost inaudible rustling Thal put Terale down and pointed down the hill. “Are.. Are you sure that it’s the best idea to go tumbling down that thing?” He hadn’t gotten hurt the first time but to her it seemed a bit dangerous and she was even “a big Numa” Yeesh, either he was crazy or she was a pansy

Gross. He made a face when he felt the kiss, he squirmed some more to get away from her lips. "Yeah." He nodded, hoping she wouldn't kiss him again. Sure it was nice to be loved but kissing was just ewww.
She had put him down. Yes! Terale grinned at the ground that seemed so far away. "Of course Thal, why wouldn't it be?" Terale blinked up at his sister, not exactly realizing the dangers the hill could have. He just really wanted to roll once more down it.
