"Oh ...." She frowned slightly. So the ghostly Soquili had passed onto something else like so many others. One more knot in the long string of others she'd met and seen do the same thing.
"I suppose if she was needed then it is for the best that she have gone." She doubted that the children Nostalgia spoke of would feel the same way. They would most certainly miss their mother.

"It may not be the best for those that care for her... It may not even be the best for her... But it was something that she needed to do." He nodded slowly, trying to reassure himself that he spoke the truth. "She'll return some day... And, when she does, she'll still have friends and family who care very much about her. Friends don't forget each other just because one goes away for a bit of time..."

Draven didn't sound too sure of himself and she was almost sure that Nostalgia wouldn't come back. There were so few cases where one did. She remembered the stories of Draven's lost family though and knew that he would rather tell himself that she would than suffer that again.
Nostalgia was probably as close to that feeling as Draven had ever gotten again. He just have hurt to loose it. "I will .... miss her."

She laughed softly. "I suppose i have just seen far too many leave..." She wouldn't let herself get upset that she had lost a friend so soon after making her. She would miss her horrible but she would not let herself become silly over it. Certainly not in Draven's presence. He would miss her far more.

He took a deep breath, releasing it slowly as he closed his eyes. "Those of us who wander the paths in the dark generally see many leave... But, even as they choose to go elsewhere, they leave a part of themselves behind. Nostalgia left Trevalyn and Memory... And she left the impact of her presence on my life..." He paused for a moment before turning his head towards her. "... I wasn't expecting to see you again, truthfully."

"I do not know Memory or Trevalyn. So for me all that is left is a hole where one more friend has passed along." She had said she wanted to meet Nostalgia's children but she'd thought it would be in the presence of their mother not after she'd gone.

He almost winced, eyes closing as he tried not to frown. "Often offers made aren't accepted... Wanderers don't often stay in one place or return to where they've wandered unless they have reason to do so." A moment's pause. "... I could introduce you to them. I am sure they would like to meet another friend of their mother's."

"My wings can only get me so far in so much time." She couldn't fly for long distances like those with the feathered or leathery wings. Hers just weren't built for anything like that.

"It's a gift i suppose." She nodded and smiled slightly. "I won't keep you if you were trying to get out of the weather..." She'd imposed on him once because of the rain and she wasn't going to make him get soaking wet because of it a second time.

"You aren't keeping me... A break in thought is rarely a bad thing." He managed a slight smile before shifing his eyes to the sky. "Do you have somewhere to stay out of the rain this time?" He wouldn't let her stay out in it and the place that he'd called 'home' was more than big enough for himself and another... It had, at one point, housed five.

"Not techinally. Generally i just find somewhere that i can hide under and wait it out." Which wasn't all that hard for her. Bushes made nice cover if you were small.
