Hmm...
I think how Kakashi is going to die is buy someone really, really strong...
Probably someone from the Akatsuki Team I guess...
I don't know lol.

Red Spider Lily, such dread you bring. Red on black, your blood agianst the night sky. If Kakashi does die, which I do hope won't happen any time in the new future, I believe it will be in the line of duty. It will probably be to someone more powerful than he could ever hope to defeat, most likely Orochimaru.
If he dies, Kakashi will probably be with Sakura and Naruto, perhaps even Sasuke. I think he'll see visions of his former team, Obitio and Rin. He'll finally come to terms with his past and realize that everything that happened had to happen for him to become who he is. After he dies, Sakura and Naruto will probably leave his mask on his face, in respect, and so none of us will ever be able to actually see the mysterious face of our well beloved copy nin. and besides. hes a main charactor. there would be a riot is they kill him.

 Well, they killed the third hokage, and technically killed Gaara. it's up for debate, and nothing but a rumor between us at this point. sweatdrop

Red Spider Lily, such dread you bring. Red on black, your blood agianst the night sky. I agree. Right now Kakashi's death is all rumor. If Kakashi does happen to die, I don't see it happening very soon. It'll probably be towards the end of the series.
Right now Kakashi is still alive and kicking a**...besides, Kakashi's one of the reasons that I actually watch Naruto. If he dies, there's probably going to be a lot of pissed of fans. suki-chan24 i heard that he was going to die.... when i heard this i started crying...... a lot............ His death is just a rumor. The reasoning behind it is that when Naruto has to finally face the main villian his normal strength won't be enough, and the death of his beloved teacher would be enough to send him over the edge, and give him that final boost of power that would help him win. That's just the rumor going around though. So from this I would assume that if he were to die it would probably Pain, the Akatsuki leader, or possibly even Tobi who kills him. If any of you are reading the manga right now you'll know what I'm talking about.

All of these rumors and theories are really interesting...
But I really hope that he doesn't die becuase he is my favorite character in Naruto.
And as stated earlier, he is a main character.

Everyone will think he dies. But then, just at the last second, he will be transported to another world to live happily ever after..... just like I did with Kimimaro. ^.^

i think he comes close to dying but naruto comes at the last moment with sage powers and saves him (oh pleaze let it happeb that way Kakashi can´t die) crying

Kakashi may die. Kakashi can die. But in the end... he won't becuase, i don't know he'll find closure from his past or something and he knows his job in life isn't done. His students will still need him and that he will wake and everyone will be like shocked and blah blah blah and Gai will be there crying his eyes out and he'll be lik 'What are you doing?" and Gai will be like "MY RIVAL!" and hug him and be gushy and kakashi will then almost faint becuz he just got gushed or what not.
