Boma was going to show her, she was sure hat it would be good to bring someone into her cave, maybe Mtima would like it just as much as Boma, she thought of the lining she'd started along the sides, only the greatest coral and gems for her cave.
Katana'k had talked to her like a immortal to an immortal, Boma was not used to friendliness from strangers, especially gods and this made her quite happy.
With the talk of meeting new people Boma suddenly thought of a new lioness she'd ment, "I met someone else, she had a symbol like yours her name.." Oh golly it was at the tip of her tongue! How silly Boma was with names sometimes, "Amadet, she seemed nice, I told her to look for you in the pride lands..but now you're here.." She nodded matter of factly and looked up t Mtima.

Mtima was beaming when Boma considered plans for showing her the cave. It was so nice to sit and talk with her old friend again, even if it hadn't been so long and so much (in mortal terms) had happened to the both of them. She let her mind wander a bit to just how much things might have changed for their mortals families back in the Pridelands.. She was thinking about Wahabu glumly when Boma suddenly remembered someone else she'd met.
The goddess turned her attention back to Boma curiously.
She was mostly curious, until she heard the name Amadet- at which she suddenly looked completely taken aback. "You were talking to Amadet?" she asked, wondering what they had spoken about, "What did she say? She seemed nice?"
Mtima knew well what had happened to the princess, in fact- she knew more than Amadet herself did about it. She didn't know just why she would want to be pointed to the Pridelands to look for her, though.

"I was in an oddly good mood, I thought she was a little stand offish, but for the most part nice...she thought you were dead? I didn't want to pry into anything, but you seemed, well important to her?" Boma was seaping back to a bit of confunsion, was telling Amadet these things a bad thing? Or was she helping two important people reunite..?
"I hope I wasn't mistake in telling her where to find you?"

Mtima almost laughed at the comment about her being dead, finally smiling a little bit again as Boma explained a bit. It was very odd, and it seemed so coincidental that suddenly one of the old pride members had found her- and the wronged princess, no less.
"No, I don't expect it was a mistake," she said finally, not thinking Amadet could or would do anything with the information, "I'm just surprised. Amadet is from an old pride that my brothers and I used to guard, she was the princess there, actually. One of them."

Mtima'safi used to rule a pride? Of mortals? Boma'burudi had known her friend to be partial to mortals, and indeed Boma herself at times was..but to guard a pride? She would have to be coherced into considering anything of that nature!
"You..ruled a pride? That mortal did not act as if she were a princess," Boma's mind was reeling with the new information, "If you left, would she be angry? She thought you dead, could she be resentful?" Boma was not an optimist, and seeing the information infront of her she would always see the worst.

Mtima smiled at the look on Boma's face when she learned about this bit of her past, wondering just how much detail she might like on the subject. She didn't mind talking about it, but it wasn't her favorite subject necessarily- Habu knew a bit about it, but he'd seen things in visions that brought it up. Not only that, but Mtima was no so quick to jump to the idea that perhaps Amadet was not happy with her.
"I was more of a secondary deity, my eldest brother was primary," she explained, and frowned a bit when Boma mentioned that Amadet did not act like a princess, "No, I don't imagine Amadet's time as a princess was all that great.."
The goddess considered what Boma asked about Amadet. She knew it was not a happy end of the Pride, especially when she tried so hard to help the pride stay together. Perhaps Amadet was angry and resentful, but Mtima didn't see why she should be the blame- unless it was merely by association.
"Perhaps, though it is not me she should be angry with," she said thoughtfully.

Boma'burudi was quite shocked, it was like learning a whole new person was your best friend. Her having family seemed so different as well, especially gods, why wasn't Mtima with them instead of mortals? She psychically shook her head to clear away the thoughts loosening from their hold on her.
"You seem to have lead a very intriguing life," she murmured quietly, "I just don't know about mortals anymore, I suppose most of my trouble I cause myself."
"I trust you know one of your own mortals, I'm just a worry wort, always will be." she shifted slightly uncomfortable and for a fleeting moment she thought of going back to the caves, this world wasn't feeling all that familiar.

"Not terribly interesting," Mtima disagreed, though she swelled up proudly at the comment, taking it as a compliment. She was a proud goddess, when it came to compliments or insults. Already she'd shown that in her argument with the little half-breeds.
"No, you could very well be right," she reassured her friend with a small smile, "Whether or not she knows who she should blame.." Mtima thought about it; perhaps she should find Amadet, if she was so keen to see her. But that would mean checking in the Pridelands.. how much did Mtima'safi want to show herself there?
Truthfully, Mtima missed her family. She was curious, she wanted to make sure they were OK- it had been a short time, surely it would still be safe for her to check in. Whether or not she felt she would really face them.
"Did she seem keen on finding me?" she asked. Perhaps with an excuse, she could stand it.

"She did not come to me asking of you, but after I mentioned you she seemed interested," Boma responded, sometimes with her happy moods came forgetfulness and she could not recall just how keen the brown pelted lioness was on finding Mtima'safi.
"She was an interesting character, I would go to see her..incase there really was any grudge held." Boma was prideful, but not more so than the average immortal, she knew that she excelled in her own fields, but the field she did not make the grade at was socializing, and she was starting to feel bit odd keeping the conversation going. This was the goddess Boma trusted her own life and not only that but the life of her only child with, and it made her feel guilty feeling out of place.

Mtima looked at Boma'burudi thoughtfully as she considered what she was told. It seemed odd to be the one taking advice when it was a conversation between the two of them, but Boma had a point about the grudge. Mtima did not like the idea of someone being unhappy with her, especially when it was not her fault- and while she was confident her family was safe, perhaps it would be best to just.. go check. And, as she had hoped, it provided an excellent excuse to check in.
"I suppose that would be a good idea," she agreed, "Perhaps I should clear things up, at least."

"Perhaps," she murmured and looked up at her old friend, how they both had changed and at the same time stayed the same. At times Boma'burudi could only think of hearing her lovely voice in the darkness and knowing that things were going to be alright. Things were alright indeed, they had their trouble but Boma would always hear Mtima's voice. She wouldn't say it alloud, but sometimes her conscious chided her in Mtima's voice.
"I'm ready to be back in my cave, being out..at least right now makes me anxious, but I will certain go to the Pride Lands, if you go I'll see you there?" it was more a question than a statement, but one that didn't exactly require an answer.
She fluttered her feathers and the familiar cacophony of sound ensued, and she flashed Mtima a genuine smile, one that conveyed everything would be okay, no matter how pesimistic the smiler was.

Mtima glanced up at the sky, hesitant to take the chance and go off to where her family still stayed, lived.. there was no denying that she wanted to go, so she just had to get up the nerve to risk facing Habu or even running into Kizamaji or Miamba. She could do that, no problem.
"Go calm down," she encouraged, looking back to Boma, "I'll meet you in the Pridelands, where we first met- OK? I'll stay near there until I see you again." Mtima herself got to her feet, stretching out her wings so she could leave now. No time like the present.
"I'll see you there, Boma'burudi," she said, and instead of giving Boma a chance to argue (and thus give her the impression she could easily choose not to show up) she took off.
