Laughing at her clumsiness, she thought for a moment and took a few steps into the forest. ''Ahh. Winter. I love the season, yes it may be all white, but its all beautiful threw my eyes. Snow is a lovely thing, it is. I have a thing for fall, because its never too hot, or too cold.''
Looking through the side of her eye, Luna looked at Kiefer. ''Maybe it does eventually block out. I would never know. Believe it depends on the amount and size of trees in the area. '' Walking carefully, she noticed some small creatures hop about.

"True" he said, nodding. It seemed like most soquili liked winter. He did too, of course. Maybe not his favorite season, though. It certainly was one for the more observant, and one who spent time noticing their surroundings, taking in how it looked. He just found the snow an inconvenience. Of course, it would be fun, too!
He looked up at the sky. Could all those branches, some so thin, really be thick enough to cover up the sky? He wished he looked closer when he was a foal. Then again, when you are foal, you never notice things like that. You just assume things. Sometimes you are wrong. Sometimes you are right. "Yea, I only remember there being quite a bit of trees close together. Thats what you need, of course...but I don't think it was completely black out" he said.
Kiefer watched the animals scamper. He thought of his dad, and his dad's familiar Bae. "Do you have a familiar?" he asked her, looking.

Dodging a few branches here and there, the mare spoke a bit louder. ''A familiar? No. I haven't been in these lands long enough.'' She gave a slight smile and waited for the Stallion to get a bit closer. ''Do you?''
The forest became more quiet, and darker. Not completely, but dark enough to change ones path. ''Would you like to go completely throught the forest? Or just to the center than turn around?''

Kiefer shook his head. "Nope. My dad has one. He used to babysit my siblings and I when we were younger" he let on a grin "He wasn't very good at it" He said, thinking of Bae.
He looked over into the forest. It was indeed dark, and the silence was almost bothersome. But he felt a swell of adventure come over him. "I've never been all the way through" he said "lets do it"
Kiefer trotted forward, breathing in the forest air. It was dark and dank, but not rotting. Despite it's creepy atmosphere, the forest was very much healthy, and very much alive.

Luna laughed and strode forward. ''Yes. I think we're near the center..Not positive...'' So this 'familiar', what did they look like?'' She was curious as never seeing one. Hearing, but never seeing. Dodging a few branches here and there, the mare let Kiefer lead the way towards the other opening.

"Well. My father's is a lion. Except he doesn't have a mane or anything like that. I heard there are others, too. My father's...er...friend, Bliss, has a rainbow raccoon familiar" he said, laughing inwardly as he referred to Bliss as Bairn's friend. Bairn hated Bliss, and Bliss returned the favor. Although he secretly thought Bairn kind of liked Bliss.
"I don't know if I will ever get one" he said, jumping over a fallen tree. "I haven't really looked"
