Canis Lupus the LoneWolf I wanna find something I've wanted all along.... Why can't they just say Windows or Mac? I don't see why Windows is representing as "PCs". PC stands for Personal Computer, does it not? You can install Linux on a PC. Anyway, if you're talking hardware and OS-wise, I would say PCs. I don't think you can install Windows or Linux or anything like that on a Mac, can you? And if you're going farther into OS, it would be a hard choice for me. Windows is the most supported when it comes to games. And everything just plain runs smoother and better on Linux even if it's not as widely supported. And as for Macs, they're really good when it comes to photo and video editing. But I think I'd stay on the Windows and Linux side. Dual booting rules lol ....Somewhere I belong I changed the title. 3nodding

From what I've read and heard -- from tech geeks -- Linux is really for people who like to do their own s**t. I would only consider it if I could ALSO have Windows, then only let my tech-whiz friend mess aroudn with debugging stuff.

Yeah, that's why I love linux, I can do my own stuff, everything runs better on Linux in my opinion. Faster, smoother. And you can also have windows, you can install both and have a boot manager.

I'm into the Mac OS myself, I started off a PC dude but eventually I came across OS X and I was hooked. Besides I'm a filmmaker and Final Cut pro is my choice of cutting tools so Macintosh is a brain dead choice for me anyways.
I also love the new imac I'm considering purchasing a 24inch one in the future.

HistoryWak Does anyone else besides me care about "right clicking?" gonk I don't...well not completely. If I had a MAC to try out, I'd like to find out the alternative. And for the record, there are mice than have both clicks and are compatible with MAC.

This whole lack of right clicking on Macintosh the biggest BS myth of them all.
You can plug in ANY USB mouse into a macintosh and you'll have right clicking. Not only that Apples new mouse "Mighty mouse" has right click functionality as well as a scroll ball.
And even if you have one of those old one button mice you can just control+click and that functions like a right click.

I just got a new PC a few months ago, and I really like it once I got used to Windows Vista.
I've been on Macs before, and I've enjoyed the experience of it...It takes a while to get used to, but I just like the feel of it. Sometimes I think I might get a Mac Book, but Laptops are way cheaper.
I hear that Macs are better for graphics and music editing, but if they crash as much as Ipods, then I'd rather keep on using PCs
So I guess I'm neutral, but born and bred on PCs
