Similarly, water also seemed to soothe and calm the young canine. In all truth, she was never too terribly far from the water. She was either playing around the rivers in the forest, relaxing near the watering holes, or curled up in her 'secret place', a small oasis with a crystal-clear pool in the middle with a small waterfall trickling down from between the large rocks surrounding it. It was where she always retreated when everything got to be too much for her here, or when the urge to just...run away from everything became too strong.

She stood slowly, tail curling over her spine as she gazed at the slowly darkening horizon. "I want too. But there's always something holding me here," she laughed quietly, and perhaps a bit sadly. "But one day I'll be able to leave." She shook her head, letting a smile slowly drift back to her muzzle. Curiosity aroused, she couldn't help but ask, "Have you ever been to the ocean?"

He watched her stand up and listened to what she had to say. Shaking his head he replied. "No, I haven't. Though I've heard stories of how wonderful it looks." he said with a smile. "Cool breeze with a hint of something in the air that comes from the water. Heavenly, almost." He said with a nod. "Tiny rocks that are so soft on your feet you'd never believe they were rocks." He added with a nod. "But, I guess hearing about it isn't the same as seeing it." A sigh came from him.

"One day, though. One day I'll see it for myself. Though, I never find myself going in the right direction." He said with a laugh. "I'm sure, some day, whatever is keeping you here well let go of you for a moment." He paused. "For a moment to allow you to see it, even if only once."

She'd heard much of the ocean from her mother, and she was even named after it. Her mother had said that her fur looked like the ocean with the moon reflecting on its surface at night, and the delicate foam creeping up the shore on the rise of calm waves. Something tugged her heartstrings towards this mysterious wonder of the world, something that told her that was where she belonged. True, she had rivers and waterholes here to play in, and she was not lacking for any sort of water, but it just...didn't seem the same in her mind. The cheetah she'd met as a cub was supposed to return to her one day and tell her tales of the ocean. She'd been waiting for him for quite some time now.

She laughed lightly. "Perhaps you've been going in the right direction this whole time, yet you just haven't reached the final destination yet." She looked down at her paws. "If something doesn't naturally come along that releases me from my pack, I'll make something release me. I will be sad to leave my family and pack behind, but I feel it is necessary for me." All this talk of feelings and her soul telling her what was right. It was all a little weird to her. She laughed again. "I'm really not making any sense, am I?" Her tail wagged slowly, curled over her spine. "But I really do believe I wasn't meant to stay here. And something tells me that seeing the ocean once won't still my need to be near it."

"Perhaps I am, and I will not realize it until my feet hit the icy cold salty waters." He said with a laugh. "But until then, I just go the way my heart tells me. Weather it good or bad for me." He said. Life being like he was was good, yet lonely. One day he'd settle down with someone, but that time was yet to come.

"Well, lets just hope you don't miss your release." He said with a smile. "And nothing will be easy, once leaving, just remind yourself that you will return to your friends and family." He laughed. "You make more sense then myself, I must say." He watched her for a few moments and then nodded. "Not everyone's meant to stay in one spot. Curiosity, and adventure get the better of a few, like myself."

"Curiosity does seem to land me in trouble quite often," she laughed.

Lela pushed herself upwards on her tiny white paws, her tail wavering pleasantly over her back. "Well, Kucha, I hope you find whatever it is that you're looking for. I, regretfully, have to get back home before it gets too dark." She smiled at the darker male. "It's been a pleasure talking to you. Perhaps we'll run into each other again one day." The grinned toothily at Kucha and turned around, setting off at a slow lope towards the sheltering forests of the Mitima territory.

[[hope you don't mind me ending it. XD lela's plot is starting, so I needed to finish up all her rps. <3]]

(( No worries. 83 ))

He nodded towards her. "The pleasure was all mine." he gave a small bow to the female. "I'm certain we'll meet again, perhaps on a beach next to the ocean." He gave a joking smirk. With that, he just gave her another nod and watched her trail off back to where she had came.

He yawned and looked up at the sky, he had already taken too much time resting here and talking to her. He'd have to walk all night now. He stretched and started off on his way. Ready for a new adventure waiting for him in the setting horizon.
