As Raylan saw the little snake tilt her head up and look at the sky, she too followed the other’s line of site, spotting what little she could of the sky through the dense upper canopy of the jungle. Her tail flickered lightly as she too noticed the darkening of the sky overhead, her heart ears perking forward a little as she realized that it would soon be night time. As comfortable as she had grown in the jungle, she certainly didn’t like to be out in it during the night. Sadly enough, she had a hard enough time navigating through the dense foliage when there was enough light to see what she was doing – she didn’t even want to fathom how hard it would be in the darkness. There was a chance, even now, that she wouldn’t get back to the pride before the sun went down entirely.
“No, no, that’s quite alright,” she said with a small smile, pushing herself up onto her paws as she glanced back down to the little snake. “I too need to get going before it becomes too dark to find my own way back to the pride.” She smiled again dipping her head to the little green snake, her tail wavering behind her. “It was very nice to meet you, Janja, I hope we have the chance of seeing each other again.” Then she simply nodded again and turned, trotting off in the direction she hoped would lead her to the pride.

The snake nodded her head, watching as the lioness walk away. "Perhapsssss we will." She said softly before turning to slither away in the opposite direction, to go deeper into the forest and find a nice tree to go up and sleep in. This had been a rather pleasant meeting, one that she never ran the risk of being stepped on and Janja deemed that today had been a good day, very nice in fact.
Perhaps they would meet again and could have another pleasant conversation. Alas only time could tell.
