"I have not attended classes," Arwen intoned with a tinge of regret. "I was lucky enough to meet the amazing Professora Bellona, but I have yet to set foot in the classrooms." It was a darn shame, and her own fault; she supposed she lost a lot of time in the library. Not alerted by the passing of time by such simple things as food and the need for sleep, the girl could really lose more time than she realized.

Her curious gaze lingered on the uncertain Biwa. She was a pretty girl, even when flustered, although why she was still so withdrawn was anyone's guess. Those red eyes eventually turned back to the boy, who seemed about as inclined to talk to others as she was; another kindred spirit, perhaps? "Astaroth," she tried out his name, deciding it was nice, "have you had any classes yet?" Arwen was surprising herself by continuing a conversation, namely one not based on her studies. While classes were an interest of hers, she truly didn't know enough about them; she would have to remedy that, and soon.

He nodded, "I have. I started with Math and have caught up on Cooking and Crafting. Thus far, I've found mathematics to be fascinating." He smiled a little, remembering how things came naturally to him in that class. It had been a wonderful feeling.

"I hope to attend Magical Theory soon, as that topic interests me far more." He shrugged slightly, "I fully intend on joining the ranks of the Seraphim. It's a noble task and the study of magic is an endless one." His voice warmed with passion as he spoke of his favored subject. Literature and Magic - the things he was most passionate about.

"I'm..." She hesitated, not sure if her input would be valid or interesting to her companions. "I'm interested in music and art." It seemed... so much less of a calling than Astaroth had. She toed the ground. "Magic theory sounds really interesting, though..."

Arwen inclined her head as she listened to Astaroth, a glow of interest forming in her eyes. She was right! A kindred spirit could be found in this one, given the time...

She turned her pale face to Biwa, thoughtful. "Music," she echoed curiously, remembering the concert and the gift she received shortly after. "I need to seek out Professora Nehna, in time. There is much that is still with me from her remarkable concert." Arwen herself wasn't very musically inclined, but there wasn't anything that she couldn't learn with even the slightest effort. There was no reason she couldn't attempt to master such an ability, especially one that many have claimed influence writing and prose alike.

To the young man, she asked, "What are the professors like?" Even with such amazing individuals like Professora Bellona, she couldn't be certain that each teacher would be even minutely as fascinating.

Astaroth paused as music was mentioned. He was possessed of a growing interest in the subject, particularly in the piano. "What genres do you prefer? I enjoy classical myself." He wanted to feel the ivory keys beneath his long fingers and listen as they coaxed out a symphony from the grand instrument.

"The professors? Professor Paxar is...." He pursed his lips as he tried to think of a way to explain, "He is Broken. Not entirely focused on the here and now. A brilliant man, but Broken. Professora Tryna is energetic and loud, I'm not particularly fond of her informal approach. And Professor Kortus is interesting, hands-on and thorough in his teaching." His tone was approving of all the professors he spoke of despite his words. He respected their knowledge and their position.

"What is Professora Bellona like?" He asked after a minute, taking this opportunity to get the general image of the beautiful woman.

"C-could I go with you?" she queried softly of Arwen, taking a small step forward towards the other girl, then stopping. "I... I like vocal music quite a bit... and string music. But not violin. I prefer the less-used instruments, like the shamisen..." The twanging sound of that instrument soothed her more than the smoother tones of the violin or cello.

She listened to their discussion on professors, feeling slightly inadequate as Astaroth spoke. She felt that maybe, maybe Arwen would like her, but this studious, aloof man... no, he wouldn't. She probably seemed foolish to him. Pushing the feeling to the background, she made sure to keep a pleasant, if small, smile on her lips.

Eyes of bright garnet blinked a few times before she nodded at Biwa. "I don't see why not," Arwen said kindly, spreading her hands, "I am sure we can both learn much, from the Professora and each other." The Melancholy didn't usually speak so frankly about learning from others, but if this girl was interested in the likes of what Nehna's voice could do - what it did - there was no harm in the offer. Shifting her keen eyes to the young man, she added, "I prefer the dulcet sounds that the Professora utilizes. If I could do but a fraction of that with an instrument..." She trailed off before finishing with, "Perhaps we shall see you there."

To Astaroth, she simply gazed at him, or rather, through him; in her mind's eye, she saw the Professora Bellona, the perfect and most amazing woman conceivable. "Professora Bellona is...she is Magic," Arwen intoned softly, a delicate reverance in her voice, "pristine and flowing, but her eyes - her eyes are heavy." The girl tilted her head, as though she were looking up at the woman she spoke so fondly of. "The knowledge she keeps there is more than one can fathom, and her words seem to hold more meaning than we have defined. She is like an ice sculpture, unique and unyielding."

That was quite a mouthful for a person who had spoken with the Professora for mere moments; even so, Arwen could recall all the information as though she had spent years under those intelligent eyes. Giving her head a slight shake, sending crimson waves over her shoulders, the girl offered a light smile to the two. "You shall see."

"The... shamisen?" That was something he had not heard of before. It sounded exotic, like her.

"Perhaps." He agreed, eyes narrowing as Arwen seemed to look not at but through him. While he normally hated too much attention, he disliked being ignored even more.

However, his expression softened as she began to describe Bellona. Everything he'd learned of her seemed to match up - a good sign. He wanted to meet her but had yet to find a chance to approach her one on one. And, frankly, as confident as Astaroth may be the Magic Professor was imposing and he didn't want to make a fool of himself.

Biwa's expression lightened considerably at Arwen's agreement. She would have been far to shy to approach the Music Professora on her own, but with Arwen... oh, she could find the courage! She was sure of it!

The description of Bellona flowed over her, and Biwa's eyes closed slightly. From the description, the Magical Theory Professora sounded beautiful, powerful, confident... controlled and perfect. Biwa envied he before she'd ever met her.

Shaking her head slightly to come back to the present (she daydreamed far too easily), she glanced over at Astaroth. He didn't know of the shamisen...? Then perhaps he didn't know everything. The thought relieved her, slightly.

"It is a three-stringed instrument... its notes are played sharper, and you pluck the strings instead of sliding a bow across them."

The young girl was pleased by the reactions of the two; they would know to respect the Professora, then, and that was certainly a good sign. Those who were compitent enough to understand through a mere description spoke well to her of both her current companions.

And what a curious trio they made! Biwa of a shy but gentle nature, Astaroth a little colder but not without a warmth that even she could see, and herself a strange type of aloof medium between them. She shook her head a little at Biwa's explanation, thoughtful more than anything, "I've not heard of it either. The musical studies, while intruiging, aren't something I'm terribly familiar with."

She loathed to admit a lack of knowledge, but Arwen would rectify such by learning and gaining such new information. Her small feet shifted as she thought, suddenly feeling quite anxious and wanting to get started...now.

He nodded at Biwas's explanation, imagining some strange three stringed instrument with twangy music. Not something he'd enjoy but neither was it something he could really frown upon either. Playing music or singing took skill.

Noting Arwen's shift, Astaroth was reminded of his reason for being here. Kneeling, he hoisted his bag once more and stepped back. He could think of little else to say - he'd already lingered far too long in his opinion. Still, simply leaving wouldn't be polite.

"My apologies, I've stayed too long. I must return." He smiled at the pair as he turned to go, "It was interesting meeting you."

"I- I should be going as well. But, ah- when would you like to go see Professora Nehna...?" She smiled, shyly. She was truly looking forward to that.

"Likewise," she echoed the sentiment shared between the two, another vague smile forming on her lips. She inclined her head politely to Astaroth, bidding him well with a light, "I am sure we will meet again." Her bright crimson eyes shifted back to Biwa, mulling over her inquiry, going through her own schedule in her mind.

"Soon," Arwen answered, details clicking into place. "Tomorrow, if you have the time. I should think midday would be acceptable?" Goodness, was she really planning time to spend with other people? What strange world was this outside of her books? Her smile softened in earnesty, awaiting a response.

Astaroth nodded and turned to go. He caught the time that they would meet and wondered if he might join them. The melancholy needed to catch up on classes - he was spending too much time studying only a select few classes. With a frown, he headed off.

Either way, he should finish this amount of books prior to moving on. It wouldn't take long as it was.

"Midday sounds fine," Biwa agreed, softly. Idly, she flicked open the fan that had thus far been held closed in her right hand, bringing it to cover her face (as she was blushing a little at the possibility of spending time with others).

"Where should we meet?"
