zinc looked around "Who are you talking to?" he saw a slight glimmer but took nothing of it "Well sure I guess I would love to see it." grinned
kery scowled she had almost given him away she was so careless and what was she talking about a secret place she couldn't no wouldn't even think of telling him or would she kery was really nervous now

kery scowled she had almost given him away she was so careless and what was she talking about a secret place she couldn't no wouldn't even think of telling him or would she kery was really nervous now
it was rainy and she was in ancient greece. charis couldn't defend herself. she was only a peasant who was attacked by bandits every day. but every morning, she would find some healing ointment every morning and she would use it to heal her wounds, and one night, she saw who delivered the ointment. it was kery. so charis just woke up and bowed to kery and excused herself for being humble, etc. etc. and after that she and kery became friends but one day when talking to kery, she caught youth sickness and woke up in the year 1969 and from then on, she helped kery with looking for demigods.
"He'll be fine kery, just like i was when i got youth sickness. just transform into a mortal boy." so kery transformed into a mortal boy and followed charis to the forbidden forest.
when she and kery got there, charis said to zinc, "zinc, this is my friend...roy. he and i know your father, but whatever you see and whatever we tell you, you must NOT and i repeat NOT tell anybody about. do you understand?" zinc nodded. "good," charis said, "now follow me."

zinc followed after lilly and he looked back at roy "Do I know you you look familiar somehow?" zinc looked around "I used to play in here when I was a kid it felt almost as good as the ocean." he said out loud to himself
kery scowled over at caris "No I don't think you do." smirked inwardly and then then cringed remembering how pathetic chairs looked when he first met her "She never lets that subject drops does she?" he mumbled to himself

zinc was standing there babbling incoherently for a couple of minutes "How.....How...how is this down here?" zincs mouth was agape it was a beautiful meadow under a tree stump zinc sat down "It's huge!!"
kery was astonished he had never seen a meadow like this before and especially hidden in a tree stump like this one was he has seen other things hidden but not in tree stumps it was brilliant "Charis oh I mean lilly....... whatever.... How did you find this place." kery was astonished it was a garden worthy of pan

"well, i was just going around this forest a few years ago and since i got bored, i just found this tree stump and i decided to do a little - er - tinkering with it. so i got certain rings to press in a certain order to make the trunk open and there was just empty space here so i made it into a beautiful meadow! does that answer BOTH of your questions? and if that isnt enough, i also think it was a gift from my father." zinc and kery shrugged and went around. meanwhile charis just went through the meadow to check everything out. 'good,' she thought, 'the animals are fine.' charis heard someone scream. she rushed from her spot and found herself by zinc. "what is it?" she asked. zinc pointed at a little baby garden snake. charis sighed and smiled. "dont worry, zinc." she assured him, "this little guy won't hurt you. zinc meet al, the baby garden snake. he hatched out a few days ago and he's just the cutest little thing." charis picked al up and brought him to his friends. "there you go, little guy." she whispered to al as she kissed him on the cheek. "see?" she assured zinc, "nothing to worry about! but zinc, one thing i REALLY want you to do is stay away from any eagles. they'll try to rip YOUR face out in particular." when zinc was about to ask whay, charis told him that the eagles didnt like humans very much, unless they have been to the meadow before, like roy has. but zinc didnt know that she was lying, the truth was that eagles were a symbol of zeus and since zinc was a son of poseidon, things would be ugly. "here, i'll come with you while you're walking around the forest, okay? then we wont have to have any animals here try to kill you. and wear this! it may seem stuoid but you have to trust me on this. these animals hate humans out of everything in the universe." charis said as she gave zinc a necklace with a leaf used as the pendant. "now," charis explained, "if you want to meet some really nice harmless animals, go to the den of marsupials which is over there. if you get along with them by yourself, the rest will be easy, but save the eagles for last okay? i'll escort you." when charis finished escoting zinc to the marsupials' den, charis explored the entire forest looking for kery. when she found him, he was playing with some rabbits. "you could keep one if you want," she said to kery, "they really like you." charis sat besides kery looking pretty down and she said to kery, "i smell something weird. ive never smelled this in 20 years."

Salan was in disguise as a koala bear in the marsupials' den. He watched charis', zinc's, and kery's every move using his powers of controlling his enemy's bloodflow. he can decipher their movements because he can see their blood. 'good, he thought, 'i can use this zinc kid as bait to lure charis into a trap. eventually, when charis comes to find zinc, i will kill her and hand zinc over to the side of kronos. therefore, kronos can finally accept me!!! mwhahahhahahahahahaahahaha!!!' as zinc entered the marsupials' den, salan kept a good eye on zinc to find the perfect opportunity to strike.
as charis sat by kery, she smelled something else besides what she hadn't smelled in 20 years. she sniffed the air with great anxiety and smelled salan. "KERY!" charis whispered, "we need to find zinc! he's in danger! it's - " kery was too busy playing with the rabbits to even hear charis. she moaned, "sometimes, you're just too stuck in life kery." charis ran to the marsupials' den to find zinc.

kery looked up and started running after charis "He has to learn sometime." scowled he always hated being a baby sitter

when zinc was about to ask what was going on, charis turned completely invisible so salan couldnt see her blood. she came up behind him and strangled his koala form. "STAY AWAY FROM HIM!!!!!!" she yelled, "YOU HEAR ME b*****d?????" salan transformed into his normal self. "oh charis, charis," salan purred, "always about your friends. that personal loyalty of yours will strangle you sometime, or has it all ready?" charis growled. "fortunately, it wasnt you who killed albin but thats not the point!!!! what do you want from zinc? to use him as mere bait to lure me to my death? that was actually smart of you - ALMOST!" charis transformed into her demonic form and tried to claw out salan's heart. "hehehe...you are so much like your mother, it makes me cry, but i don't have time for that." salan got out his sword, "bloods fire" and stabbed charis in the stomach with it...but he did wrong. Charis transformed into her angelic form and it is said that when she transforms into her angelic form, it releases a light so pure, it can blind all darkness. salan disappeared when the transformation was complete. charis was tired and worn out so she used her healing power to heal her wounds but she couldnt regenerate her magic. charis turned back into her normal form and fell over. she was breathing even more heavily and she was sweating. the marsupials hopped up to charis and asked if she was okay. "im fine." she reassured them, then she coughed some blood into her hand. 'he knows!' charis panicked, 'if he tells kronos, the animals could die here! i have no choice...' charis removed a leather necklace with some beads on it. each bead stood for her different friends that she had made over the years. she made a fire and sacrificed the necklace and with tears in her eyes she begged to her father, pan, 'protect these animals and this forest. i have sacrificed the reminders of my good friends for your increase in power, Father. answer my prayer, please.' suddenly, all the animals in the forest were surrounded by a light mist and after a few seconds the mist disappeared. "kery," charis said, "please, explain to him now."salan was back in NYC in disguise as a member of a gang. 'damn!' he thought, 'i wanted her to die! but, now i know what i am up against. so i'll give her some time.' he kept walking through the city looking for his mortal spy.

zinc was starring agape and looked to Lilly and back "That....................... was...........So............COOL!!!!!" zinc gasped "Your telling me I'm a son of god. Awesome." was gasping for air in excitement "this is gonna be so cool."
kery stood gaping at zinc "oh my Zeus and Hera he didn't act all stupid or anything or ignorant or disbelieving. He sure is a weird one."

charis was blushing. kery stared at her. "what? im just happy...OKAY! you caught me! i saw this satyr and i am HUGELY in love with him! hes that smell i hadnt smelled in 20 years that i told you about, kery! and i - dont want him to die." kery smiled at charis. charis walked away and did what she always did when she was down, she went into the garden dedicated to the gods that was next to the aviary and laid in the daisies. she looked up at the sky over her. yes, the Mist hid the meadow to make it like it was underground even though it wasnt. charis smelled the fresh aura that surrounded her and felt calm.salan talked to his spy and found out that zinc knew who he finally was. "i will wait for him when he is strong. then i will have a better challenge and a better chance of getting to kronos!"
