(( gonk Aww, that's a shame. xd Flea markets are pretty awesome too though.

eek heart And OMG Iris, the girl in your sig is so beautiful! biggrin Congrats! ))

The idea of sharing Ausha had never appealed to Majinuni. Even when he was just a juvenile, he didn't like Ausha spending too much time with anyone other than him. The way Limbuko described it though, didn't sound so bad. It seemed almost like Ausha to be so generous with his love, and if that way of thinking was written into Ausha's heart, there was very little he himself could do about it.

As the God went on, Majinuni's mood darkened ever so slightly, although he still remained in his depressed state of mind. "And what makes you think there's someone out there for me?" He frowned. "I truely thought Ausha was the one...he saved my life...he is my life. Doesn't that count for anything?"

When it dawned on him what the God's domain once, a sudden glimmer of hope became apparent. "Can't you...make him love me? The way he loves that Pride Lander..." As the words came out, and after he had finished saying them, he knew it was wrong. But he was still at a point where there was no life without Ausha, and he was desperate.

((I think you probably saw Mitsuki (brown and pink?), thanks. biggrin She was a custom for the moon pride that Meep gave me for christmas. *luffs her*))

-He certainly didn't expect to recieve a jubilant response to his crushing words, and he was mildly pleased to not be stricken as his words fell silent. And again words of hollow comfort sounded.- "The world is not a fair place.. It should be enough. Devotion in such a powerful way. But there is cruelty in this life that is almost inexplainable, and this is one of those cases."

-Lim lifted himself up as the question arose, gazing at the cheetah quizically. Could he do that? Any thoughts of ethics or pain reduction swayed to the side of childlike curiousity. Could he? Love wasn't his specialty.. but through the powers of trying to make him happy would it be possible.

After a long moment, he finally answered, a uncommonly somber tone hitting him.- "I'm afraid.. the very best I can do is cast an illusion upon you that makes you look like the other. But wouldn't that be moreso painful? To have him love you thinking you were someone else?"

(( heart That's the one. whee She's gorgeous. o.o Oh, and BTW, how possible is it for Lim to have any adult grandchildren? heart In the raffle, I ended up with the shiny yellow and pink boy. To explain his shiny coat, I want him to be related to a God in some way, as a grandson or maybe a nephew. xd Lim was one of the ones that first came to mind. No plot would have to come of it if you didn't want. All it would be is him saying his grandad is some fabulous God, and that's why his coat is all sparkly. blaugh ))

Majinuni considered the God's idea for only a moment, before shaking his head. "That wouldn't be fair to Ausha..." The cheetah took in a deep breath, before slowly breathing out. Despite everything, Limbuko had made him feel better, albeit slightly. There was no way he could ever get over Ausha, but perhaps Ausha's friendship was better than nothing? In his mind, he needed Ausha to even exist. The odd show of affection here, the odd playful nibble there, maybe it wouldn't be so bad. Maybe.

"Thanks...for everything..." He murmered, whilst taking in the breath-taking beauty of Limbuko one last time. "You're so beautiful..." Longing for some serious affection after going so long without it, he moved to nuzzle under the God's chin, and rub his back against his chest. It was going to be a long time before he recovered his old appearence, and he would probably never recover his old state of mind. Still, he would have to try. With a God on his side, maybe things were destined to get better.

(( smile I think we're just about finished. 1 or 2 more posts ought to do it. ))

-It wasn't so much a feeling of pleasure, more so a slight lifting of the great force of sadness that Lim felt in reguards to the cheetah. Not much.. but considering that the aura had been so strong it'd almost thrust him into feelings of depression and sadness, he took it as a victory, silently promising to check in on this one from time to time.

He nodded softly, reassuringly as Maji mad his selfless choice. It was a hard choice, one he himself would be hard kept to make, but somehow he knew that it was the right one in this case. That accepting and giving up would led to a healing that clinging and pretending would never allow.

A soft rumbling purr escaped him at the kind words, and he nodded in silent thanks. Nor did he stop any of the affection, even going so far as to nuzzle his nose near the cheetah's ear, giving a soft ticklish huff of air at the sensitive skin, before asking softly due to their closeness.- "You've got a beauty inside that glows even over your current gruffness."

-Brillantly colored feather lifted upwards once more with his words.- "Would you like to take a feather with you friend? So that others may see what brillance you have inside you, until your outside meets it once again?"

Once again, Majinuni owed his life to a beautiful lion. He would never forget Limbuko, and he secretly hoped that this wouldn't be the last time that he saw the God of Pleasure. The sickly cheetah managed a soft purr, his body aching that little bit less having felt the warmth of another. He was sure now that he would be able to survive, at least long enough to return to the Graveyard and see Ausha again. Then all he had to do was get himself back in shape.

Majinuni was almost brought to tears again when Limbuko spoke of his inner beauty. After all that had happened, he had begun to believe that it didn't exist, and that he was merely a disgustingly empty shell. The feather was a major bonus. "Are you sure?" His yellow-green eyes lit up ever so slightly as he gazed over the God's fabulous feathers. At first, he was drawn to the white ones, as they reminded him of Ausha. He decided though that he would much rather have one to remind him of the Limbuko. "As long as you're absolutely sure...I'd love a purple one."

"I'm quite certain." -He nodded reassuringly. The feathers grew back eventually, not nearly so quickly as the grapes that clung to his tail, but quick enough that he never looked like a plucked and ruffled bird.

How many had he given away now? After the first one asked for it had seemed to become a theme. Trinkets of affection and care for those who seemed to need it. Bargainning chips, symbols of a job well done, and quite possible... some selfish form of 'claiming' on a few of the young ones he'd handed down. This one though, this one was certainly affection.

Streching outward his feathers even more so, he gripped one of the large purple feathers, tugging gently but steadily until it released, lowering it to lay it delicately across the cheetah's paws.- "Are you hungry perhaps, or thirsty?"

-He wasn't sure if he could do anything else for Majinuni, but he offered nonetheless, willing to lounge around in his company until he felt strong enough to move along on his own again.-

The feather was ever-so soft, gently tickling the tips of Majinuni's paws. He was sure that he would treasure this gift forever, and display it proudly as soon as he could find a suitable material to make a necklace with. Ausha loved accessories, so he would most likely be able to help him with it if he asked.

At Limbuko's question, Majinuni shook his head. "I think...I think just want to go home." Saying that, he shakily got to his feet. He then motioned in the direction of the Elephant Graveyard, although it was too far away to actually see. The cheetah had gone some time without eating, so he figured a little longer wouldn't do him much harm. He was sure he would be able to make it to the Graveyard.

As his mind began to settle, he managed yet another small smile and even a tiny chuckle. "Next time you see me, you won't be able to keep your paws off me." Evidently, Majinuni was feeling better already, as he was now fully committed to getting better and returning to Ausha as a friend. It was most likely going to be easier said than done, but with Limbuko's faith in the form of a feather, he was sure he could manage it.

Taking one last look at the fabulous God, Majinuni leaned down and carefully picked up the long purple feather in his mouth. He held it with the tips of his teeth, so as not to get it too wet. He then slowly buy surely turned and started making his way home.

(( heart And finished! whee Thanks so much for the RP. smile I'd love for them to RP again once Majinuni is better. ))
